      Company refused to respond to an emergency that put my family in danger. We had toxic black mold in our house which required that we replace roof, which requires that we remove solar panels. Sun Strong management (who is partnered with Launch Servicing LLC) refused to respond to this emergency despite us reaching out dozens of times. So, we dealt with it ourselves, and delayed payment due to their material breach of contract. Months later, Sun Strong admitted fault. As an apology, they issued postponements to our bills. So, the bills that were due in May, and then July, and then september, were postponed. As the documentation shows, after these postponements took affect, our first bill is due 12/1/2025. Our credit, however, is damaged as our credit report still shows these as late payments. But they were never late in the first place given the postponements, so this needs to be corrected. The evidence shows this clearly. If we had payments due earlier this year for which we are now late, our balance would be >$1K. It's not. Our balance is for only $167, which is one months bill. The balance was zero before. No payments were due, so no payments were late.

      Despite promising to us repeatedly that they would fix this false report with the credit agencies, Sun Strong and Launch Servicing has refused to do so. They have lied repeatedly to me, and it is causing financial hardship due to falsely decreased credit score. I really just want my credit to be fixed. But if it is possible to further punish Sun Strong Management / Launch servicing for their lies and negligence, that would be great too.

      After years of being scammed by Nivo Solar/Everbright I got another knock on my door from Freedom Forever. ***** **** said the reason I still had an electric bill is because I did not have enough solar. He would add more solar panels and a back-up battery for a better experience.
      That unfortunately was not the case. I was paying for two Solar Arrays and still had an electric bill. I addressed this with ***** **** from Freedom Forever and he blamed it on Green Mountain energy who was supplying energy and buying back energy that I produced. He encouraged me to change to Tesla energy. I then found out after the second month that I was paying a new electric bill to Tesla and still having a delivery fee. He then started to ignore me.

      End of August Central Hudson took the meter they installed 5 years ago that run backwards specifically for solar panels and replaced it with a meter that dosent run backward. I also received a bill from Central Hudson for appox 800, they said it was a pre bill because i previously had a payment plan for a 2000 bill I didnt feel I owed because i had perfectly working solar panels and hadnt had a bill in 3 years. CH said the payment plan hadnt been turned off even though i paid off the 2000.. I told them I would pay the 800 even though my panels worked perfectly fine. In fact my panels work so good that we give more than half of what we produce back to the grid. Then end of September my solar panels stopped working properly. Seems Central Hudson knew Id be owing money. The panels come on only a few hours, 10-1, a day (as if on a timer). My solar Company SunPower went bankrupt and SunStrong bought them out. I contacted them in August regarding getting a battery pack and have called a few times since my panels stopped working properly. I am told they will get to me. I havent gotten a phone call, email, nothing. I said call, maybe its an easy fix that I can do myself, no calls still. I cannot afford a Central Hudson bill. I dont know if Central Hudson found a way to manipulate the panels since they are connected to them or if something suddenly happened to them where they only come on a few hours. I have included as much information that I could get, please call me if you need me to explain any of it. I have lived here over 20 years and Central Hudson never needed to change my meter the 15 years before I got panels. I dont trust them after they game me a 2000 bill i didnt owe. Please advise if I should do a separate complaint for each company. I have been hearing of other peoples panels doing similar, I dont feel its a coincidence. If the solar company hooks up the battery, i can disconnect from dishonest Central Hudson *** ***** *** ************* ** ***** **********

      Launch servicing will not release our solar contract, We purchased the solar panels through Enium and they went out of business. Our loan was sold to launch servicing. When we went to refinance our home loan, they have delayed and lied to us. It has hindered our ability to refinance and get a better rate. After reading these reviews I have lost hope of getting anything from them. They take our money every month but dont actually give us documentation on our loan.

      Fraud loan was issued in my name in which I have no affiliation with this company.

      Until this incident happened I have never heard of this company. After doing more research this looks like it is a problem with this loan company. They allowed a person to use my information and 3 different addresses with multiple names to get a loan for over $12,000 dollars. This organization should be shut down for even allowing any of these loan violations. Please let me know if you need any further information.

      Sunstrong's panels are defective/need of repair. We have tried and tried to get a repair contractor out here, as our Edison bill was $2,100. The SC Edison bill should be ZERO, like it always is. No response from the company. These are leased panels and Sunstrong (previously Sun Power) is responsible for maintenance. Solar panels are NOT performing and we should have no bill from Edison at the end of the year, like all previous years. Attanched is a picture of the bill as well as a performance chart showing the panels are not working properly, providing the energy that we need. They were to call out a technician, but says "we can't provide youu with a name or contact for the technicial, that comes from our Operations Department". I asked for the Operations Dept. phone number and was told "They have no phones" (Agent id# ******). Currently we are paying $398.22/month for faulty/under performing panels.

      I had Solar Panals installed through SunPower, LLC in 2015. The panels worked brilliantly. I had an app that monitored the solar production and SunPower representatives were always available to troubleshoot when issues arose with the app. I never had any issues with the solar power system. It produced the amount of solar it was supposed to. I had no complaints . SunPower filed chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2024. I have had no service or monitoring since December 2024. Launch servicing LLC took over the debt collection and I was under the impression that Sunstrong Management took over the monitoring and servicing. I wasn’t able to get my app to work. I called SunStrong. They repeatedly emailed me that they did not pick up my contract. I contacted Launch Servicing LLC and they could not tell me who picked up my service and monitoring. I spoke to representatives on April 29 May 9, May 21, May 22, June 3, July 22, and July 30. Escalation tickets were sent on April 29, May 22 July 22 and July 30. I spoke with supervisors *******, ****** and *****. Each assured me that once the tickets were resolved they would contact me. To date I’ve had contact from no one through Launch Servicing LLC yet they continue to send a bill every month for me to pay.

      On March 21, 2025, my leased sunpower solar system stoped working. I contacted Launch Servicing and they said it will be resolved within 30 days of the ticket. It has been 6 months and every time I call, they tell me they escalated the ticket and I will hear from a technician within 2 weeks. Nothing happens and it's been 6 months. My system is not working and they are expecting me to continue paying my lease for a non-working system. This company has no respect for its customers.

      On Friday, August 22, 2025, we contacted Sunlight Financial about the incorrect assessment of late fees in the amount of $25.00 for a balance owed for .08 cents on our solar account. Additionally, Sunlight Financial also reported to Trans-Union Credit Agency that our account was 30-days late because of the 8 cents that was owed. Our credit reports have since, experienced a 50 point decrease from our over 800pt. credit rating. We were not contacted about the fact that we owed 8 cents and find the fact that Sunlight would spend the administrative time to charge late fees, as well as contact the credit bureau over a mere 8 cents, incredulous. The actions taken by Sunlight do not accurately reflect the upstanding professional reputation and fair treatment of valued customers that we believed existed when we opened our account. Our account with Sunlight Financial was originally opened In November 2022. We have never had any late payments and based upon our positive payment history, find the assessments and negative credit reporting to be excessive and unfair treatment by the company we have held in high esteem for nearly three years!
