It is very hard to speak with someone about booking a trip that I was convinced that would be amazing at a bridal show. Been trying to book this trip for four days now. Was told the company is not a time share but apparently is. At this point I just want my money back. Why is so hard to just be honest and not give out those promises that you know are not true. Some people actually work hard and honest for their money. When calling the agent thats working my case is never there thats a complete WOW to me. Calling tell you to leave a message or continue to hold and it just automatically make you leave a message for no one to ever call you back. Its just ashamed that a business has to be this way.Capital Vacations, LLC

Our experience with your company began when we were approached by an unwanted solicitation. We were offered tangible incentives in exchange for our attendance to a brief presentation. During this presentation, we were shown photos and packages of luxurious vacations that could be ours at little cost to us. After much hesitation and a lot of pressure, we agreed to a contract. The presentation consisted of a tremendous amount of pressure. We were so tired at the end of the presentation that we agreed without having the ability to thoroughly read and understand the contract that we were given. We do not feel that we were provided with accurate information and truthful financial expectations. We have never been fully satisfied with our purchase which is why we've been hounding you for almost 2 years to get rid of this thing. You pressured us and lied to us about the terms and on top of that, the customer service is AWFUL. You informed us that we could get out for almost 11k. Why would we pay you for lying to us? You're predators.Capital Vacations, LLC

When I signed up with them in January it was supposed to be for 90 minutes. 2 hours later I was saying I really don't think I can afford this and they started playing the numbers game with me. I was about to leave when they told me about Go Weeks. The rep said he would give me unlimited Go Weeks. Basically I would pay a little less than $300 dollars and I could stay at hotels and resorts all over the country. The said they had partnerships with hotels to do so. This was a good deal to have access to hotels for 7 days at the price of $300. I would have been able to use that about once a month. It would have been worth the purchase. When I get home from the vacation, I found out not only did Capital Vacations lie about the Go Weeks but I was already pass the point of being able to cancel. I called them to tell them I wanted to cancel. I did not even care about the down payment, I just wanted out. They said I had to pay everything in full and a years worth of maintenance fees to have any option to opt out. I dont even trust them when they say that. This by far is the worst decision I have made and this is coming from someone who is twice divorced. I have not used their services and do not intend to do so. This is the worst company I have dealt with and strongly recommend everyone to stay away from their sales pitches. This deal is only good today. If you leave now you will lose your Go Weeks. They are horrible. I really wish there was a rating for less than a star. They do not even deserve that. Stay a=way from Capital Vacations in ******* **.Capital Vacations, LLC

Its saddening that we must write a negative review, but for over 20 years my wife and I were happy and loyal owners at ************. Everything changed for the worse when Capital Vacations began integrating. During a sales meeting with a Capital agent at the height of the Covid 19 pandemic, the sales agent refused to wear a mask; we are in our 70s and 80s. That was very careless and just an example of the type of company Capital is. We were deceived into turning in our ************ deeds to Capital and it resulted in purchasing a timeshare with Capital. Their sales efforts are relentless. Every time we step foot on their properties, were pushed to go to another sales presentation to be deceived. Sometimes we agree to go just so that theyll leave us alone and we can go to our unit after a long drive. At our age this tends to become more difficult to endure. Every single one of those sales presentations is filled with over ambitious sales agents who will lie about anything to get us to buy. We were told that if we upgraded to Platinum status, wed never have to attend another sales meeting; this was not true. They claimed wed have a personal contact person assigned to us to assist with our reservations and stays. We were also lied to when they said that by upgrading our dues would be covered. After having been manipulated into upgrading we decided to cancel the agreement the next day because none of what was promised to us was in writing. The sales agent was adamant that everything we were told was true and convinced us not to cancel. We were told wed have the documentation stating what was promised in 45 days. That was several months ago and we received nothing!!! We refuse to continue to allow Capital to take advantage of us! This is no way to treat senior citizens! Were demanding that they cancel our contractual obligations and want nothing to do with these swindlers.Capital Vacations, LLC

I was told that I would get a full 5 day 4 night paid resort vacation for $199 upfront and I soon come to realize that it was a complete scam from the start. This all happened at a vendor at a festival im working. I later went back after finding out it was a scam and they admitted to lying to me and telling me false information. They do not need to be scamming people out of money. I have been trying my best to get the money refunded or canceled. They are not a good company or anything.Capital Vacations, LLC

1 starCapital Vacations employs a salesman (Brock) that convinced us to upgrade our timeshare based on LIES! We had a contract with a $193 monthly payment and upgraded to a $223 monthly payment that, according to him, would cancel out annual maintenance fees. During contract signing, I spotted the monthly payment in the amount of $592 and questioned this. Brock claimed the cost would go down when we used the points from the credit card, he signed us up for but was later declined…meaning there were no points to assist with lowering the payment. We maxed out three credit cards and had to sell our home due to the negligent and predatory nature of a person with no morals, no values, no empathy, no kindness, and no respect for his fellow man. I want to kick myself for believing in this company!!!Review fromTom and Carol B

We've been dealing with ********** at this establishment to negotiate our departure from these leeches. She dared to ask for nine grand to release us. What a joke. Our account is inactive, and I kept telling them you're better off selling this to some poor fellows to make up for the funds we are not paying you. You lied to us and tricked us. We should've known better. We'll keep fighting you to release us one way or another.Capital Vacations, LLC

***************************** continues to tell me about the Graceful Exit program, so if you owe nothing then go ahead and call to get out of this. Meanwhile, the rest of us will have to keep hunting for a way out. How is this fair? I was lied to and conned into the ownership, and now they want me to pay it off completely before they will let me out. If I only bought this under the impression that the maintenance fees would be much less than than they are, it would be easier to use (I've tried to book twice and nothing is ever available), and that I could go anywhere in the world... but again they left out information about having to pay more to do even that. This is not a cheaper vacation, and I might not have purchased if I was fully aware. I want out of this, and there is no reason I should be paying more for their lies. Ive paid enough as it stands.Capital Vacations, LLC

This is an unacceptable response, as I did TRY to utlize the ownership. Twice. There was absolutely nothing available to me, and therefore I come back to the other issues that I have had as well. I was not properly informed about the maintenance fees, I was told that I could go anywhere in the world but NOT about the fact I would have to pay more fees to do so, and I was also told that the purchase price was $17,500 including my $6,000 deposit but the cost on the agreement says it is truly $24,000! All around, I have been deceived, and I just want out of it entirely. Thank you.Review fromLynda C.

Capital took over the management of the resort we own- Links in ******************. The quality and cleanliness of the property has certainly declined since. Every year when we check in our resort, they wont give us our parking pass until we agree on attending new updates to our ownership. (same story every year) which ends up being a predatory sales presentation that they claim isnt sales. The want us to pay them to upgrade our ownership and to turn our deed over to them. They should pay us if they want the deed. We own along with our in-laws and they wouldnt let sit together to go over our benefits .. odd because we are both owners. They got snippy with us when we told them we only agreed to attend if we could be together- wouldnt give us the money they promised if we sat together.. but again claimed this wasnt sales. They refused to give us any information about their points system in writing or their exit programs so we can review and make an informed decision. The salesman are as nauseating as cell phone or car salesman. They will try to trick you into telling the amount you are paying in maintenance dues yearly is what your payments wild be on the loan they are trying to ******* you into.. by using the phrase Points conversion program. Just slick, slimy predatory sales again. We were told by our salesperson that we could just give back our points at any time if we no longer traveled and was told the opposite when the manager tried to sell us a discount 10 year exit plan. I am amazed at people who sign up for this without actually reading what theyre signing. Avoid anything with Capital Vacations.. they are absolutely predatory on the elderly- separating my older in-laws from us..( my in-laws would have gotten into a $15,000 loan at 15% interest plus maintenance fees to get into their points program if we didnt go over to tell them we were done and leaving) I wish I could give them a negative 5 star review.Capital Vacations, LLC
