5 starsMy wife and I have been capital Vacations club owners for two years now. I suggest to any new owner to stay in contact with your rep for any immediate questions and attend your New Owner Work Shop to learn how to best utilize your ownership! Once my wife and I learned how to best navigate the website and which program is best for short stays, long stays, hotels or resorts..its been a breeze. *word of advice don't bite off more than you can chew at first, start a little less than you need and learn how to use it! Happy Travels Yall!!Review fromClare S

After being lied to about my timeshare and then be pressured into a conversion to Capital three years ago (April 2022), I recently received correspondence to sign a warranty deed (stated that no notary needed....) that was never signed, but somehow found in an audit. It also stated that if I didn't do it, the property would just be given back to me. After going through my contract, I reached out to their quality assurance line who absolutely refused to give me a straight answer about canceling my contract with them and getting my money back. I was either put on hold, sent to a different department, mislead, or was offered their graceful exit plan where you can just end your contract and not owe anything. No one would answer the simple question, if I cancelled my account, would I get all my money back. To top it off, I just received a generic email back from over a week ago from someone that said I could email her with any questions regarding the deed that was sent to me. She just told me to call quality assurance again. Completely shady dealings with EVERYONE. The problem is that my timeshare was never converted and it was never officially Capital's property. One of their **** told me my conversion was in suspension...they acknowledged it was not complete. I sent my cancellation request with supporting documentation and I have not heard a thing yet nor has my account been cancelled. Contract terms state that I can cancel up until the date I receive the completed paperwork which has never happened, and in addition, if the transaction doesn't close within a year, I automatically would get my timeshare back and any money that was paid. Contract also says that upon receipt of the cancellation request, it would be officially cancelled as of that date and I would receive a check. Instead, I have received numerous phone calls from random predatory credit companies offering a way to get me out of my time *********** action will be taken next.Capital Vacations, LLC

We have been trying to cancel our timeshare with Capital. They suggested we call in and speak with them, so we did. We eventually spoke with ******, who claimed to have emailed them after the purchase to inquire about refinancing options. When we asked him to forward the original email, he stated that he couldnt locate it. We do not believe he really sent it. They refuse to help us get out of it. They are only worried about getting their money. Capital and their sales team are nothing short of a scam.Capital Vacations, LLC

ATTN: Cancellations ******* ******** were at the ***************** in ********* on Saturday 4/26/25 and were somewhat convinced that we could not pass up on a great deal. We repeatedly mentioned that we are going through difficult times dealing with the death of a family member and had no intention of travelling any time soon or within the next couple of years. After several minutes of pressured sales we caved into signing up for what we had no idea at the time was a Time Share Agreement. As mentioned previously, we do not and cannot travel long distances and would like to CANCEL this Agreement ************** of today, we have not received an email with our Member # or a copy of the contract. We were told we would have that information on or by Monday 4/28/25.We apologize for our confusion in this matter and hope to get this resolved as soon as possible.I have left a number of messages & sent numerous emails regarding this cancellation letter that was sent with no response. Our credit card company has been notified & will reverse the charges for us.Should not be this difficult to cancel something that has never been used.**** *.Capital Vacations, LLC

This business is highly unorganized and unprofessional. I was told that an owner on our account had filed a bankruptcy and we needed to pay the account in full to use services. I opted to drop services, but Capital assured us that I didn't need to drop the account and we could waive the account payout as I am an owner on the account, have no bankruptcy and I make all the payments. I hesitantly made another large payment on the account and my wife booked some trips. As a trip date approached, my wife called to make another payment on the account. We we told that we although the account was current we couldn't book trips due to one of our owners having a bankruptcy. We explained that we had spoken to a manager to have that resolved and we had made substantial payment on the account. We still can't book any trips.Capital Vacations, LLC

What started as a simple vacation turned into years of financial stress and broken promises. During our first encounter with Capital Vacations in *******, we endured an exhausting 8-hour high-pressure sales session where they pushed packages far beyond our budget. After finally settling on an affordable option, we later discovered this was just the beginning of our troubles. At subsequent "owner meetings," sales representatives consistently disparaged our current package while pressuring us to upgrade to more expensive options. They falsely claimed maintenance fees would stabilize with upgrades when they were actually increasing annually. The final straw came when a representative deliberately misled us about refinancing options. He promised lower monthly payments through external financing that he knew didn't exist for timeshares, solely to upsell us to a more expensive package. Using our points proved nearly impossible due to limited availability, complicated booking systems, and points expiration issues. Despite paying monthly for years, we've received minimal value and maximum frustration. Capital Vacations uses deceptive sales tactics, misleading promises, and constant pressure to extract more money from customers. Save yourself the headache and financial burdenCapital Vacations, LLC

I deeply regret ever signing up with Capital Vacations. When I initially joined, I was optimistic about the benefits of the timeshare program. However, I quickly felt pressured into acquiring additional points that I neither needed nor have used. This has placed a significant financial strain on me, one that I can no longer sustain. I recently reached out to their company to explore options for exiting my timeshare, only to be told by ******** ******** and another agent that I must pay off the loan balance to qualify for their so-called "graceful exit" program. This is absolutely infuriating! The timeshare was sold to me under false pretenses, and Ive made it clear that I cannot afford to continue paying for something I was misled into purchasing. Capital Vacations has shown no compassion or willingness to help me resolve this situation. Instead, they continue to demand money I simply dont have. I feel trapped and taken advantage of. I would strongly caution anyone considering a timeshare with this company to think twice. I just want out! Capital Vacations could not care less about their defrauded customers; they simply are concerned with getting every ***** they can receive from their extremely violated victims without any concern for how they treated the victims of their highly questionable schemes! NEVER EVER CONSIDER DOING BUSINESS WITH CAPITAL VACATIONS, AS THEY ARE A TOTAL SCAM!!!!! THANKS FOR PAYING CAREFUL ATTENTION TO THIS COMPLAINT & PUNISHING THIS FRAUDULENT SCAM OF A COMPANY!!!!! ***Capital Vacations, LLC

I was scheduled to go on a 4 day trip to ************ with Capital Vacations. Prior to going on the trip, i had to complete a check in email which gave me the address of the hotel I would be staying at, and at the bottom it stated tour information will be given at check in, but it will not be scheduled on the day of arrival or departure. I ended up calling the conpany to figure out when the presentation would be since I got no other information from my email. I was told that I would need to do a 90-120min presentation at 2pm on the 3rd day of my trip. When it came time for me to do the presentation, I went down to the lobby of the hotel that I was placed at for the presentation, only to be told that there was no presentation there. The lady told me Capital Vacations does presentations at some other building, but I was not aware of this since no one informed me. I then tried to hurry and call Capital Vacations customer service to figure out where I needed to be, and it kept going to voice-mail. Finally 30 minutes later, a lady answered and told me "oh you missed your presentation." That's when I had to tell her, "yes, that's why I'm calling. I'm trying to figure out where it is since the front desk said it isn't here." The lady at customer service proceeds to tell me it should've been in my confirmation email. I told her I never got one because my email only had the hotel name. She then states," oh, yeah I see here we never sent your confirmation email. That's our fault." She told me I had to still do a presentation, or I would have to pay for my whole trip, and wouldn't get my gifting. I asked her if I could go later that day, or do it virtually. She said no. She tried to get me to do it the next day, but I had to fly home the following morning. She then also told me there are no locations in my home state to do the presentation, so I would need to travel again to complete the presentation within days. I don't feel as though I was treated fairly for their mistake.Capital Vacations, LLC

If I could leave a zero I would. I was very ill when I attended my timeshare preview. I asked to leave and they pressured me to stay - I even said I need to leave and was no longer interested on the recorded conversation. I asked questions that they refused to answer. I ended up with pneumonia and called one day late to cancel my purchase. Everything was lies. The sales person gave me his cell phone number and I sent him a text and he didn't respond. He promised me he was not lying but it was absolute lies. Worst decision of my life.Capital Vacations, LLC
