1 starthis company is a scam told them to health issues my ********** wasnt able to travel they would not reschedule my trip without paying an additional 275. And because I wouldnt pay it threaten to charge me the full price of the vacation refused to refund me for the amount i had already paid when they would try & help me due to my health situation.Capital Vacations, LLC

1 starMy niece and I was invited to attend timeshare presentation. The experience was disrespectful and upsetting ultimately leading to me feeling humiliated, scared and hurt. Before the presentation I informed them that I had a hard deadline 2:30pm, the full 90 minute presentation. After 90 minutes, at around 2:30 PM, I reminded them that I needed to leave to pick up my daughter from the airport. Despite this, I was told I had to stay for a total of 1 hour and ************************************************************* advance, but my request to leave was denied.*****, the manager, became increasingly aggressive when my niece and I refused to purchase the timeshare. ***** started yelling at me, which made me uncomfortable. I asked ***** to stop yelling and lower his voice, but he only became more agitated. ***** threatened to have me removed from the property and even said he would call security on me. At one point, he told me I dont matter im not important. Im worthless and for me to get off the property. ***** then tried to pressure my niece and I into signing up for a credit card, which she and I was not interested in due to financial difficulties. My niece explained that her car had broken down, and she didn't have the money right now. I explained I do not do credit cards because I learned a long time ago. us. He even screamed directly in my ear, telling us to leave and questioning what we were even doing there that Im nobody and Im not important. After leaving the presentation, ***** then followed me, continuing to yell, trying to call security to have me removed from the property where we are also guest. It was acknowledged by several. ***** was disrespectful, aggressive, and unnecessarily hostile. No one should be subjected to this kind of treatment I was so humiliated that I stayed in the room most of the time which was my birthday week, and Ive decided that this was not acceptable behaviorand I believe its important for this to be addressed.Capital Vacations, LLC

1 starWishing I could offer less than 1 star. They cornered me at the resort I was staying in and offered me 2 tickets to a whale watch tour for attending a presentation of vacation properties. I accepted and attended the presentation. Im not naive and knew there would be hard sales tactics, but I was not prepared for the behavior of this one sales agent. Extremely unprofessional! They try to keep you there until they wear you down until you sign on the dotted line for basically a $15k loan and empty promises. Even after declining their offers several times he still keep going with the hard press. I finally told that was it we were leaving and demanded our tickets. These guys are scammers. Do yourself a favor and lots of hardship and steer clear of these guys and their dog and pony show.Capital Vacations, LLC

He said it wasnt a timeshare, there were no maintenance fees and I could cancel in two years. He neglected to say that if I canceled in two years I would still have to pay the full amount. 1 starCapital Vacations is the worst possible company anyone could encounter. They will make promise after promise and never deliver on their word. I was pressured into buying into their points system in 2022. I was told we could sell back our timeshare at any time. But now when I want to get rid of it they tell me Im stuck with it. They will say whatever it takes to close a sale but cannot deliver the results. They offered me a cruise to ****** but when I placed a call to redeem it, they said they would return the call and then never did, forcing me to forfeit it. That is the kind of service you can expect from these people. And for all this misery they have the audacity to bill me thousands of dollars for this junky ownership. I pay more for this terrible timeshare than I pay for the mortgage on my house! And for what?? Dont listen to a word from anyone at Capital Vacations and ********************. 1 starReaching out regarding my distressing experience with Capital Vacations and their timeshare practices.I purchased a timeshare from Calypso Cay which was purchased by Capital Vacations, and was reassured it was a valuable investment that could be easily sold or exited if needed. September 2021 in *****, I attended an Owners Update intending to explore options for exiting my timeshare due to medical and financial hardships. Instead, I encountered an aggressive sales pitch to upgrade my plan with additional points. Multiple representatives used relentless, tag-team tactics, shifting from friendly to intimidating. As an elderly widow attending alone, I was called foolish for hesitating to upgrade and faced mounting pressure. Feeling trapped, I signed the upgrade to escape what became a traumatic ordeal. These manipulative and unethical sales tactics are unacceptable. To note, I have only used my timeshare for ONE weekend. I stressed this again and again with discussing with Capital Vacations. May 2025, I contacted Capital Vacations again to seek relief due to my hardships. Their representative was unhelpful, stating no deed-back program exists for timeshare mortgages and offering no viable solutions. I feel trapped in a contract with no clear path to exit!Capital Vacations predatory practices target vulnerable individuals, and their lack of support for owners seeking to exit is deplorable. 1 starI booked a vacation from Booksi in August 2024 for the Sea Mist resort on ******** from June 27th to July 1st 2025. One week before the trip, they changed my accommodations to a substandard location that did not have a kitchen where the original booking did have a kitchen. I could not afford the extra expenses of having to eat out 5 days at a tourist location that would have easily cost over $1200 so I had to back out of the booking. I had been looking forward to this vacation for 10 months and had made plans to visit family and friends while on this trip and had to cancel everything. This was my one and only trip to the beach this year. Monster Reservations made the booking, so I consider them also at fault, and Capital Resorts was the entity that this offer was being made for, so they are also involved. This was a timeshare marketing event that I was actually considering purchasing so I could have a location on ******** to vacation at. Not a smart way to start out a committed ownership relationship.
