I ordered 2 tree and both arrived stressed. I indicated my concerns and have been told to wait. The tree is dead and the leaves are brown, I asked for a refund and when I finally get a response the answer is always to wait longer. The tree is not dormant, it was fully leaved out when I received it and died within a few days. The other tree is stressed, but seems to be recovering. I am just asking for a refund for the dogwood tree as it is no alive and I want to plant a healthy tree before it gets too hot as we get into summer.

We have issued a refund in the amount of $115.52 for the dogwood tree. Let us know if you need any additional assistance.

I placed an order (**********) for a fruit cocktail tree on April 13. Upon delivery, I noticed the peach branch appeared to be dead. I waited a couple of weeks to see if it might recover, but unfortunately, it did not.On May 15, I contacted your team via email to ask whether this issue would be covered under your guarantee. I received an automated response indicating someone would follow up. As of today, May 21, I have yet to receive any further communication.Given the continued lack of response, I feel I have no choice but to escalate this matter by filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I am very disappointed in the level of customer service *** experienced so far. This is not what I expect from a company I was hoping to continue purchasing from.I hope this matter can still be resolved swiftly and professionally.

I am rejecting this response because:

I am submitting this formal complaint because *** has failed to issue a full refund totaling $199.95, despite repeated attempts to resolve this matter. On May 31, 2025, I purchased a 3-in-1 cherry tree from FGT. The tree arrived in extremely poor condition and died within one week. I immediately contacted ***, and they issued a store credit of $199.95, which I accepted. When I attempted to use this credit to reorder, only a 4-in-1 cherry tree was available at a price of $264.95. I purchased this tree on June 26, 2025. Over the subsequent months, I repeatedly contacted *** to inquire about the status of my order. Each time, I was given excuses regarding heat delays and was assured that my order would ship that day. Despite these assurances, my order was never fulfilled. On September 8, 2025, a representative instructed me to cancel my order, promising a full refund. Trusting this guidance, I canceled the order. However, upon reviewing my account, I discovered that FGT only refunded $65the difference between the cost of the first and second trees. They have failed to refund the full original payment of $199.95. Attempts to contact the representative for clarification have been ignored. This pattern of behavior constitutes a clear failure to honor a promised refund and is, effectively, an attempt to withhold funds to which I am entitled. I am requesting that *** immediately issue the remaining refund of $199.95. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate this complaint to the appropriate consumer protection authorities and consider disputing the charge through my credit card company. Refund

I ordered 2 trees from from this company 1. One of them arrived broken so I filed a complaint and I was told to wait because they could be okay and they have an 18 month warranty 2. I held off waited to spring after being told that they were covered. They did not survive the winter and during a wind storm one snapped (trees only break like this if they are dead already).3. I filed a report about the tree and I got a list of things stating how it was my fault and they would not replace the damaged one. Nor would they replace the undamaged one that did not survive. Instead they keep sending me things about how I shouldnt have bought the tree for my region. This policy is a total scam and now I have 2 dead trees. I followed all the care instructions and their site stated my location was a viable place for these trees. Not only did their site state they worked for my region they shipped them out to me. If these were not viable for my area then their site shouldnt have recommended them.

I place an order with Fast Growing Trees on May 8, 2025. It was for four large hydrangea plants and one Japanese Lilac Tree (6-7 feet). I ordered larger plants so they would be healthy and thriving when they arrived. The hydrangeas were covered with a fungus and the leaves were dying. The Tree was a "twig" with about 15 leaves, the trunk was less than an inch. I was appalled. I paid $606.77 for these plants and they were all in terrible shape. I called customer support and got a woman that I could barely understand. I sent her pictures. She later emailed with this: give the tree some time and the hydrangeas were probably affected by the shipping. No, they were not. This is a fungus which gets worse over time. The tree looks like something you would buy on the deeply discounted area hoping it will survive. I am tremendously disappointed with this shipment and I have come to the conclusion that they are not an honest or reputable business (in my opinion and based on this experience).

    Business Response

We have reached out directly to the customer and have not heard back in response. This is the message we have sent: Thank you for your reply. We are so sorry your order was not as expected on arrival. The hydrangeas tend to be more sensitive to transition and often show signs of stress through their foliage however, this should not be an active health issue and should not continue to spread. Once in the open air and light, the plant should recover.
So that we can better assist, would you mind attaching photos of all 4 of the hydrangeas received?

My first order (**********) 4 - 3 Gal Crimson Fire Loropetalum ($237.18) arrived severely damaged. I asked for a replacement or a refund. First they tried saying that that was how the plants were supposed to look and offered me a refund of $23.58. I told them it was NOT how the plants are supposed to look so they then offered me a refund of $133.40. I said absolutely not, I either want a replacement or a refund. 19 emails later, they agreed to store credit in the amount of $225.70. I agreed to the store credit and purchased something different (Order **********, 4 - 3 Gal Crimson Pigmy Barberry for $237.18) I used the store credit of $225.70 and paid the difference ($11.78) with my debit card. They refunded me the $11.78, but not the cash amount for the store credit. I've emailed them multiple times and now they aren't responding. I want the $225.70 that is still owed to me. I've got an email confirming the agreement to refund the full amount of $237.18 but I don't know how to attach an email. I can forward all the emails conversations to you but I would need an email address.

It appears this was purchased using a store credit that was issued from your initial order so the refund went back as the store credit. We have deactivated this store credit and issued a refund of $225.70 back to your payment method on file. Let us know if you need nay additional assistance.

I ordered two Oklahoma Redbud Trees and four hydrangeas on April 30, 2025, order #**********. I received ONE Oklahoma redbud tree and the four hydrangeas. I sent an email (per Fast growing Tree request for missing items) on May 2, 2025. On May 8, 2025 I received a reply from ****** from customer support specialist, She told me that the reason I didn't receive the tree is because they were out of stock and she would issue me a credit of $119.21. I paid ****** plus tax for it, I said I really wanted the tree. She said she would check weekly and let me know when it was back in stock. A couple days later I checked the website and found I could order the tree I wanted. Not happy about this I called and spoke with the manager **** on 5/14/2025. She said there was some kind of mix up and ordered the tree for me and said she would send me an email about my new order #**********. As of today I have not received an email and feel I am getting the run around and not going to get the tree I paid for.

I ordered over $900.00 in plants on May 5th from Fast Growing Trees that arrived in terrible condition. I have tried to contact the company about the condition of the plants but their policy is so strict with a 72 hour waiting period for assistance and a 3 photo limit to show damage to so many items. I feel this is just a way for them to discourage complaints. I spent way to much money to just let it go. All of the plants were shipped stacked on top of each other and either arrived completely mashed or with enough damage that they have little or no chance to survive. The tree and the Honeysuckle vine were in pots with completely dry soil spilling out of the containers. The top of the tree was broken off because another large **** was shipped on top of it. The Honeysuckle Vines branches and leaves are dry and falling off as is one of the Clematis vines. and so on...It has been over 72 hours and I still have not heard back from anyone and I can't message them because in order to do so I MUST attach photos but since I have already exceeded the limit of 3 photos (THREE??!) I can't contact them. I would like HEALTHY replacements of 1- Jackmanii Clematis Vine 1 Gallon 1- Autumn Joy ***** 1 Gallon 1- Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea Shrub 3 gallon 2- Proven Winners Wee Bit Grumpy Hydrangea 1 Quart 1- Princeton American Elm Tree 6-7 ft. 1- *************** Honeysuckle Vine 2 Gallon 1- ********* Creeping Phlox Plant 1 Gallon 1- Li'l Coconut Butterfly **** 3 Gallon Or a refund

I ordered 3 hydrangea plants on line in April from Fast Growing Trees for $111. They were delivered on April 30. They shipped on the 29th and arrived on the 30th. When I opened the box I noticed that all 3 plants had black spot ( a fungus) so I called the company, a recording told me to go on line and fill out a form telling them about my issue with the plants. I did this, I even sent pictures. Then I waited. They emailed me on May 6th telling me that sometime black spot happens in shipping and I would have to treat it myself with a fungus spray. Im an 80 year old woman and Ive been spraying these plants and theyre just getting worse. This is my first time ordering plants on line and I dont know what to do now. On their website it says I can rate Fast Growing Trees but it wont accept anything but a five star rating and if I want them replaced I have to pay for shipping and taxes. Also, the Black Spot has only gotten even though Ive been treating it with a fungicide. **** ******

I ordered 18 plants on April 29/2025 from Fast Growing ********, only 17 were delivered in three days time, one shipment was delivered on May 10, 2025. and the second May 12, 2025. I also ordered 4 packages of fertilizer and they were not delivered. ALL of them were destroyed/ damaged, including the boxes. They were dry, no roots, some no leaves, and some cut off branches, etc. I have lots of pictures from different angles. I uploaded only some of the images here. I sent my emails with pictures showing all the plants/ trees right after I got them. They responded by advising me to plant them and wait for 30 days. This is insane! The plants were destroyed, some have no roots just cut off stalks. My last email to them was asking them to refund me and don't bother to send replacements. They have not responded to my last email.
