Ordered a 3 gallon peony June 2nd 2025. Arrived June 16th 2025. Plant arrived sickly and wilted. Thought I would wait to see if it recovers from shipping and transplant shock.June 17th emailed company to activate my warranty guarantee. Sent all the required photos and information.June 21st 2025 customer service specialist says I cant use my warranty and need to wait 3-4 weeks. *** refuses to let me use the warranty that you get when you buy one of their products. We sincerely apologize that your plant is struggling from the transition to its new home. We have reached out directly to provide additional assistance and you are covered under the guarantee should this fail to recover over the next 30 days. Please reach out to us if you need any additional assistance.

I am rejecting this response because:

Paid for products with a guarantee, company is not honoring guarantee. June 17th 2025 $109 plant was delivered nearly dead and sick. Plant has perished. Followed their warranty process and they refuse to honor their guarantee. Please see one of the many emails they sebt me. They still refuse to honor their guarantee despite following their written process. Nothing in their warranty guarantee process says you will have to deal with customer service **** refusing to honor their guarantee. We wanted to follow up regarding your BBB complaint. We sincerely apologize that your Peony is still struggling and you were not satisfied with the guarantee and warranty process. From the photos provided, we were able to verify that this plant is still alive however, it may be a bit environmentally stressed. For plants that are stressed, we would want to troubleshoot to try and help the plant to recover. In regard to mulching, coconut coir can be used at the base of some plants however, it tends to hold a bit too much moisture, which may not be best for the peony and we would reccomend a wood mulch around the base with a 1 to 2 inch gap from the plant to allow airflow. Once this change has been made, the plant should recover and bounce back so we would reccomend giving it another 4 to 6 weeks to recover and if it does not, we will be happy to take another look and provide additional assistance. Let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.Replacement

I ordered 16 hydrangeas from Fast Growing trees on July 9, 2025. The bill was $347.58. We found the delivery box on our front steps in the evening, we had gone out with friends and I was too late to go out and plant the shrubs .We brought the plants indoors, and opened the box the following day. The plants looked poorly, 6 of them looked mostly dead, all 20 were wilted. We planted them, gave them water, plus it has rained almost daily since we planted them. They looked worse the next day, so we called the sellers. They wanted pictures before they would do anything. We took pictures of most of the plants. I called them again in 2 days. Then they wanted photos of all 16 plants. We sent them out again. The seller said they couldnt open the photos, although they could see the previous photos sent the same way. They directed us to another website. Very frustrating, and it seems like they do not want to refund you, so they make it really difficult.? Why cant they just give us the refund? The plants were wilted and dying most likely from the 90 degree weather across most of *****************. I just want my money back, and want to warn others about how difficult they are to deal with.

I ordered a tree on March 1. Order indicated shipment April 7th. After multiple complaints the shipment date has moved 5 times and is still not here.

We are so sorry for the delay in shipping your ***** Lemon tree. While this was initially expected to ship in May, our growers have experienced environmental issues affecting the quality of the plants. Unfortunatly, we are unable to ship anything not up to our standards however, we have been closely monitoring this, and it does look like this should ship the week of 7/28. We have reached out directly to provide additional assistance.

We sincerely apologize for the delay in shipping your order. Unfortunatly, since we ship live plants, we do have to check the quality prior to shipping and will not send out anything that is not up to our standards. Unfrotuantly the plant ordered did not meet our recent quality check and we are unable to process this for shipping now however, we have provided updates on the shipping date. This will ship out as soon as possible or we can cancel the order if needed. We have reached out directly to provide additional assistance.

On May 29, 2021 I purchased a "Eastern Redbud tree about 5-6 feet tall. for the amount of $116.85 from the website of this company "Fast growing Tree"When I received the tree it had some yellow leaves and the rest of the the leaves looked like it had a bug. There were holes in almost all the leaves. I contacted the company on June 14, 2021 after leaving the hospital due to receiving a kidney transplant. The company dismissed my email complaint about receiving an ill tree. I stated all the issues the tree showed and I added a picture to show that It looked like it had a bug infestation. They assured me that it was normal and that the leaves looked that way because of water drops settling in. I trusted their word and I waited until now, June 2025 to reach out to them because the tree never blossomed and finally dried out and died. I have spent weeks since June trying to get them to honor my request and replace the tree. I have sent them the purchased receipt and the original pictures of the tree when I received it. However, after providing them with all the proof they required, they are giving me lame excuses not to either refund me or replace the tree. I am appalled that these type of company exist and are preying on innocent and trusting seniors like myself. I trust The Better Business Bureau can help in making these people take responsibility for their actions.

We sincerely apologize that your tree perished and you had difficulties getting assistance. It looks like your order was placed through our sister nursery, Planting Tree. While we do offer an optional one-year warranty, unfortunatly, it does not look like this was added at checkout. Unfortunatly, we are unable to warranty our plants past a year from purchase. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

I looked at a website called Fast Growing Trees at least two years ago and since that time I have been completely inundated with theyre e-mails and texts day after day. I have called, texted, e-mailed, unsubscribed and everything possible to no avail. in fact I just received one while writing this. Second one in the last hour.I understand that these companies have advertising firms working for them but this place is beyond ridiculous.Thank you ****

The company took over 2 weeks to ship my item and it was never shipped as I confirmed with the business. I requested a refund and they kept the tax money and the shipping fee for an item I never received. This is a horrible business model and poor customer service.

We looked into this and it appears a technical error prevented this from being fully refunded however we processed this so you will get a confirmation email and see the balance reflected back to your account within 3 to 5 business days. I had purchased a fruit cocktail tree from fast growing trees last year. the plant arrived in good condition and I planted the tree. this year the plant started to produce fruit , and now is when I found out that they sent the wrong tree. I paid a lot of money for a fruit cocktail tree and instead they sent a cheap plum tree. I have been going back and forth with their customer service and they denying any wrongdoing but yet my pictures prove the way I received the tree with the one purplish tag opposed to what their ******* video shows with multiple tags showing each branch type I either want a refund for the difference of what I paid for and what I got or they can send me a fruit cocktail tree and I will pay the price of a plum tree

I ordered 4 trees from ************************** in the same order #**********. For the 7-foot Sunset Maple tree, they packaged it with another tree inside a 6-foot box, breaking the tree top and stressing the tree making the leaves fall off. I made a claim and sent photos the day I received the tree (5/11/25), and asked for a refund due to their poor packaging causing the damage. A week later, they said to keep watering and nurturing it, and get back in touch if it declines. It continued to decline, loosing leaves, and of course still has a broken top. I replied with more photos of the damage, and I continue to receive no refund 5 weeks and 4 emails later. Why would someone pay for a taller tree at a higher price to have it jammed into a box too small for its size? I do not want a replacement, only a refund. 3 of the 4 trees I received are very scrawny, had bark damage, and overall, not worth the money paid. I feel the other 3 trees are on me for ordering site unseen. The damage to this tree, however, is 100% on them due to poor packaging. The Sunset Maple was $174.95 and after a discount applied, I paid $122.46 + $8.57 tax = $131.03 That is the amount of the refund needed.

I've been an accredited business owner for ***** and fully understand the importance and implications of leaving reviews, good or bad. 4/4/24: Received 40 trees and paid $4136.85. 4/10/24: Sent 1st email regarding condition. 4/11/24: Received response asking for photos of damage.4/12/24: Sent photos, no record of a response from them.5/1/24: Sent a follow-up email asking if they received photos on 4/12/24.5/1/24: Received a "Thank you for reaching out! Your email has been received, and you can expect to hear back from one of our team members soon". Fast forward to 5/16/25 when I sent another email regarding this issue.5/16/25: Received email stating"Due to a higher-than-usual volume of inquiries, our response times are currently a bit longer than normal. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to get back to everyone with the care and attention they deserve".5/21/25: Received email asking for more photos and also to go to their website to submit a "guarantee claim form"5/31/25: I had already filled out form prior and sent more scratch test photos in this email.6/3/25: They assured me they were going to make it right, again. 6/4/25: They stating they need additional photos. I had to send 8 separate emails to encompass all of the photos for the 16 DEAD trees. 24 are thriving and healthy.6/5/25: They stated they were out of 1 year warranty after they continually asked for more photos, more documentation etc and assuring me they would take care of this. I had to drive to this property multiple times and literally take hours of work and time supplying photos.6/5/25: I responded to email 6/9/25: They stated they sent an email on 5/4/24 that I did not respond to (or receive) and sorry.6/12/25: I responded I Spoke to 6 different people regarding this. It's extremely disappointing since this process was started 4/10/24.If you purchase trees from them, just know the "Warranty" is very difficult to get honored.

We sincierly apologize that your trees perished. Unfortunatly due to the age of the order these are not covered under the One Year Warranty. We do understand how upsetting it can be to lose plants after caring for them for some time. We can provide planting and care advice as needed and have offered a discount on a future order.
