    November 16th I place and order for two plants. The 19th Shipping labels were created and one shipped. That plant arrived on the 28th. It came from ** and took 9 days to go to **. I was never sent an email the item shipped. The second part of the order has not shipped yet. I was under the impression due to advertising that both plants would be to my house by that weekend that items ship 1-2 business days after the order and that also was what was advertised in the plants descriptions. I contacted customer service several times and was given some kind of excuse that it's being sent through "drop ship" or something? That it's on the way and they apologize and thank me for my patience. Being blown off by customer service. It seems the company advertised a product they didn't have. I bet if I had their paycheck and it was late and I kept being told to wait, they'd want it. I orderd it under the implication it would be here November 21st. So, they took my money, gave me fluff excuses and if the thing ships, I might be gone for a week. Basically they made an appointment they couldn't keep and are not sure when they can show up. I was told the delay was due to the holidays. I ordered that plant well before Thanksgiving. They didn't have it in stock, but sold it anyway.

    I have reviewed the response made by the company. It was not satisfactory to me. I could either get my money back or buy a smaller less mature version of the plant for more money. Three times they told me the plant was ready to ship. 
    Not, till I wrote the BBB did they tell me they didn't have it.

    The online business Fast Growing Trees lies about their money back guarantee and sent me a dead plants and refuse to replace it or pay me back for it. The red raspberry and strawberry plant both were dead immediately upon arrival. They are a scam company. I spent $181.80 on plants on 6/24/25 and received some plants after weeks that most all dead upon arrival and I did not receive the strawberry plant for 4-5 months later and it was nothing but a stick. They refused to refund or replace the strawberry plant despite sending them pictures of it.

    I brought shrubs from this company back in April. First, they were smaller than shown on their website. They told me just to ignore that. Truth.Second, the shrubs have yet to grow AT ALL. The company has inundated me with emails asking questions about soil and water, and all kinds of things that are irrelevant to these shrubs based on their site. They even asked about tags to identify the plants, like I'm not a nursery, and my lawn company handled these shrubs professionally. That's when I realized they were just keeping me busy with emails.After a little over 6 months, they still won't acknowledge that something is wrong with the shrubs and refund my money. I have had to involve my credit company, and now, as a last resort, am filing a complaint so no one else is duped. Super difficuly and super unreasonable to deal with. Their product is no good.

    Thank you for providing feedback and we sincerely apologize that your plants are not growing as anticipated and are not the size expected. We do sell our plants by height as well as by container size. If the height isn't easy to measure or isnt fitting for the plant, we may choose to sort by container size. For example, slow-growing boxwoods or hollies that might need shaping are better determined by the container size and root mass than the height.

    When initially planted the plants will focus on root establishment as well as acclimating to their new home so the initial growth rate may be slower but will pick up in the second and third growing seasons. Boxwoods are slower growing at 6-8 inches of growth per year once established, while hydrangeas can grow about 1 to 2 foot per year once established. 


    There are currently chargebacks on these orders so we are unable to assist with a refund directly on our end while the bank investigates. Please contact us directly if you need any additional assistance.

    Saw there add for bushes call the number talked to a girl told me the bushes would be full like the picture so I order 16 at almost $500 when they came they left at my house I was not home when I got home boxes were damaged and the bushes looked almost dead very bad. Im old so I emailed them and they dont seam to want to do anything and say nothing . They ripped me off .

    Thank you for providing feedback and we sincerely apologize that your order was not satisfactory. This order was placed by phone for 16 of the 3-gallon-sized Black Knight Butterfly Bushes. For plants that we sell by the container size, we are unable to guarantee a specefic height however they should have a mature root system for the size container they are planted in. We recieved photos showing the packaging as well as 1 of the 16 plants recieved and have requested photos of the additional 15 plants so thet we can assist under our guarantee. Please forward us photos of the additional plants and we will be happy to see how we can assist.

    Changed my order from shipping in two weeks to "pre order" without any communication. That moved shipping back 5 months. When I tried to change the order to a larger version of the tree that was available to ship I was told that it was impossible to change the order and pay the additional $30. The proposed solution was to cancel the order and start a new one. A confusing process but I agreed and received an email saying a full refund would be issued in 2-4 days. Actual refund was short $20. Fast growing trees stated that that was a shipping fee adjustment because I canceled the tree. Now they want me to pay $50 more for the same tree they could have simply taken the $30 additional payment. I would like my full refund. It's not surprising that it is not a BBB accredited business with such poor policies and bad treatment for a repeat customer.

    I ordered 4 - 3 gallon new gen ******** from this company at $64.95 a piece, a $30 premium to the 1 gallon variety. When they arrived that were tiny and nothing like what they looked like on their websites. This company grossly misrepresents what they are selling and then hides behind there no refund policy..

    Regarding order ********** Fast growing trees are denying a refund for a Korean lilac ****. The plant arrived with most of its leaves coming off. I hoped it would revive but it did not. They are now accusing me of overwatering the plant so its ineligible for a refund or replacement. I know plants I was using small can to water carefully along with other plants. The associate in her response also responded with the wrong plant. Demonstrates they do copy and paste responses doesnt what plant or circumstances. Look for a way to deny. Disappointed customer. Do not buy from them.

    I purchased product from fast growing trees. I updated my address at checkout & used shop app for the payment. I later received an email stating my order was out for delivery (no delivery address noted on the email). Then when I received notice it was delivered but I could not find the package, I reached out for delivery confirmation photo. The photo was not of my mail room but my old address 7 hours away. I then let them know that is not my address. I had ordered from them to my old address in 2022 but updated my address before checking out. But there saying I never updated my address. When I point out clearly I did as they were able to bill my credit card with the correct, updated address. I am asking for a refund since I never received the package. I have given them screen shots that there is only one place to update an address. Theyre trying to tell me I should have know to call them to specifically update my delivery address. But when you call them, the message states you cannot call about any existing orders but you have to submit the online request. Which is what I did when I didnt receive the package. I have included screenshots showing right now attempting to change ************* can see ****************** is not a listed **************** no message that pops up saying call to change delivery address too. Theres no way by looking at the screen that I could see they would deliver to Illinois address. They wont even entertain the idea that maybe they have a glitch in their system because no one else has complained. But when I ask them who else has recently updated their address in their system, they have no answer.

    May 11, 2025 I ordered a variety of trees suited to my growing zone, which I believe totaled 17 trees and shrubs. Of those, all have survived except 6 out of 10 Thuja Green Giant Arborvitae. These trees are clearly advertised as coming with a FREE 1-YEAR *************** Guarantee. I contacted Fast Growing Trees via their customer service warranty **** online to place a claim on just those 6 dead trees. I submitted the required 3 photos per tree and made 6 separate claims as required. They immediately denied my claim and provided a photo stating that the warranty on those trees is only 60-days. However, as of today, 10/15/2025, the website STILL advertises those trees with a 1-year warranty. I would like my 6 trees replaced, or else this is a classic bait and switch tactic that the public needs to be aware of. I will file a another complaint stating as much if this is not resolved in a timely manner.

    Paid $****** for 6 plants - three arrived dead. Asked for replacements and they said they don't have any. They offered a store credit. I agreed but then they said the credit was only for $77 not the full 50% of the payment. (Shipping was free). A refund for DOA plants that arrived dead should be for the full amount paid with by simple math is *****. If they could have replaced the plants, that would have been fine but since they can't and have to give me a credit, it shoul dbe for the tax, the extended warranty I paid and the plants. Total Order - ****** - half the order is dead and can't be replaced upon receipt - refund should be 50% of the order - Order #
