I purchased product from fast growing trees. I updated my address at checkout & used shop app for the payment. I later received an email stating my order was out for delivery (no delivery address noted on the email). Then when I received notice it was delivered but I could not find the package, I reached out for delivery confirmation photo. The photo was not of my mail room but my old address 7 hours away. I then let them know that is not my address. I had ordered from them to my old address in 2022 but updated my address before checking out. But there saying I never updated my address. When I point out clearly I did as they were able to bill my credit card with the correct, updated address. I am asking for a refund since I never received the package. I have given them screen shots that there is only one place to update an address. Theyre trying to tell me I should have know to call them to specifically update my delivery address. But when you call them, the message states you cannot call about any existing orders but you have to submit the online request. Which is what I did when I didnt receive the package. I have included screenshots showing right now attempting to change ************* can see ****************** is not a listed **************** no message that pops up saying call to change delivery address too. Theres no way by looking at the screen that I could see they would deliver to Illinois address. They wont even entertain the idea that maybe they have a glitch in their system because no one else has complained. But when I ask them who else has recently updated their address in their system, they have no answer.

May 11, 2025 I ordered a variety of trees suited to my growing zone, which I believe totaled 17 trees and shrubs. Of those, all have survived except 6 out of 10 Thuja Green Giant Arborvitae. These trees are clearly advertised as coming with a FREE 1-YEAR *************** Guarantee. I contacted Fast Growing Trees via their customer service warranty **** online to place a claim on just those 6 dead trees. I submitted the required 3 photos per tree and made 6 separate claims as required. They immediately denied my claim and provided a photo stating that the warranty on those trees is only 60-days. However, as of today, 10/15/2025, the website STILL advertises those trees with a 1-year warranty. I would like my 6 trees replaced, or else this is a classic bait and switch tactic that the public needs to be aware of. I will file a another complaint stating as much if this is not resolved in a timely manner.

We sincerely apologize that your trees perished and you had difficulties getting assistance with the warranty. We have reached out directly to assist and processed replacements to ship in the spring but please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Paid $****** for 6 plants - three arrived dead. Asked for replacements and they said they don't have any. They offered a store credit. I agreed but then they said the credit was only for $77 not the full 50% of the payment. (Shipping was free). A refund for DOA plants that arrived dead should be for the full amount paid with by simple math is *****. If they could have replaced the plants, that would have been fine but since they can't and have to give me a credit, it shoul dbe for the tax, the extended warranty I paid and the plants. Total Order - ****** - half the order is dead and can't be replaced upon receipt - refund should be 50% of the order - Order #

We sincerely apologize that half of your order arrived damaged and you did not recieve a full credit for these items. This is covered under our delivery guarantee and we have followed up to provide an additional store credit for the balance of the 3 plants.

On August ******* I ordered 40 1 or 2 foot high Thuja Green Giant trees. They arrive and they were amazing. They were well packaged and healthy, came in an oblong box. They had healthy roots and each in big container. I am using this as a fence to keep my dog inside the backyard, so this experience was great. I decided I needed to finish ordering so I ordered 40 more trees. Each order was $473.69. My second order was a total nightmare, they came deliver in smaller square boxes tiny containers with no roots and very little soil. What in the world happened to the trees?!? I filled out a form sent to them telling how extremely dissatisfied I was with this so call order. They asked for photos I sent them, kept asking for more photos I sent more and a video. Still they are not taking care of this, they are avoiding me because they know what they sent was not correct. I do not want half of the trees growing and the others doing nothing. I will have half a fence?! Could someone please help me? If you cant resend the trees that have roots please refund my money, so I can buy the trees at a reputable nursery. Highly disappointed!!!!!!!!!!! I need 40 trees like my first order!!!!They have it set up to where you fill out an order and there is no way to actually speak to a person. They appear very unprofessional in a business, to handle customers this way. I have photos they are on my iPhone you can se a significant difference in both orders. Thank you for your serviceMs *****

We sincerely apologize that your second order containing 40 Thuja Green Giant trees did not meet your expectations. We have followed up to offer assistance under our guarantee. We agree to issue replacements for 6 of the trees that arrived in poor condition from the information sent and offered a discount on the order for the other trees that did not meet expectations under our Alive and Thrive Guarantee.

    Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
There are more than six damaged plants. There is more conversation that was not mentioned. They asked me to wait 4 to 6 weeks and offered 30% off the order. I did not agree because, I have a warranty on all the plants. I spent $950.00 total on 80 trees. I want the trees that I ordered for a purpose. So again, no I do not accept this offer.

Also, they fail to understand, I can only upload the amount they allow. Your site only allowed me five, I believe. I showed in the video both the thriving and bad ones! There are more photos, I highly doubt I would be wasting your time if I didnt receive a bad batch

    Thank you for your service

We sincerely apologize that you had difficulties uploading photos. Our Contact Us form limits photos to 3 per submission. You can also forward photos to us directly at ************************************** and this will bypass the limit on our form. Our Warranty does cover plants that have perished and we also cover damages under our delivery guarantee. For assistance, we do request photos of each plant that arrived damaged. You can also submit photos showing the trees in a group. Due to the number of trees that you need replaced, we have requested that additional photos be submitted. For the plants that did not meet your quality expectations, we can offer to discount the order. Please contact us directly and we will be happy to provide additional assistance.

I am rejecting this response because:  I have been back and forth with this company. Ive tried to explain my situation. They want pictures I sent over and over. They only see 6 plants that are damaged. I planted 80 trees. I video taped the first order to the second, which everyone sees a major difference. The first group is thriving. The second group not doing much of anything.

I am  asking for a refund so I may go somewhere and purchase the trees to grow with the others   I feel as though they are stalling, and ask that I deal directly with them.  Ive been trying to do this, but Im getting no where.

So much for trying to have a nature made fence  I did not know it was going to turn into a nightmare

As always, thank you for your service!

On September 7, 2025, based on Fast Growing Tree websites photos/advertisement, I ordered a Crimson Queen ******** Maple Tree from them. I paid $271.27 (tax and 1 year guarantee included). The tree I received on September 12th was nowhere near the appearance of the tree advertised on their website, which was thick and beautiful, what I received was a stick tree with several very thin branches. The Fast-Growing Tree website page is somewhat misleading; they utilize the bait and switch technique to entice customers. I notified Fast ********************** Tree that I was dissatisfied with the tree and requested a refund. I also advised customer service that on their *********** page, the drop down menu gives you the option to click on The plants I received dont meet my expectations. Which validates my request for a refund, in conjunction with their misleading advertisement, and there is nothing on their website that states otherwise. For the last several days, customer service and I have gone back and forth via email, with them trying to justify the tree they send me and continually dismissing my dissatisfaction and repeated request for a total refund. As of today, September 22nd, customer service has sent an email stating, No refund will be given. If Im unable to obtain a $271.27 refund at this level, I will escalate to the next level.

In September 2024, I purchased an Oklahoma Redbud tree from Brighter Blooms (dba Fast Growing Trees), including their one-year plant warranty. The tree arrived with signs of leaf fungus and failed to establish despite appropriate care. It ultimately died by ********* June 2025, I submitted a warranty claim and paid an additional $40.50 for shipping the replacement tree. Due to high summer temperatures, the company delayed shipping until September. When the replacement arrived on September 9, 2025, it was in worse condition than the original, showing widespread fungal spotting on the leaves. I have photographic documentation showing this.Customer service dismissed the issue as cosmetic and blamed overwatering, despite the tree not yet being planted or watered heavily. I have been a long-time customer of the company, but in this case, I have not been offered an acceptable remedy.Resolution Sought: I am requesting a full refund of the original purchase price of the Oklahoma Redbud tree ($240). The replacement tree is not healthy or viable, and I do not believe it should have been shipped in this condition.

On May 12, 2025 I submitted a claim for the one-year guarantee on double-knockout rose bushes. I had purchased 36 bushes the previous September and only 5 survived. Their claim process includes sending photos of the plants. And their form allows for only 3 photos to be uploaded. I attached the photos and submitted the claim. As you can tell by the photos, the plants are clearly dead. After several days, I received an email requesting photos of all plants, and details of how I was watering them, what kind of soil I planted them in, etc. Unfortunately, by this time the dead plants had been removed from the garden bed and I could not take additional photos. I had already submitted photos based on the requirement of their policy and system. Further, in the past I had ordered a large quantity of fruit trees and all the peach trees arrived with insect holes in the leaves. They required only one photo in this instance and replaced all the affected trees. For this order, it seems as though they are going out of their way to avoid honoring their one-year guarantee. I am requesting that they honor their own policy and replace the 31 bushes that did not thrive.

    Business Response

    Date: 09/13/2025

We sincerely apologize that your roses did not make it and you had difficulties submitting your claim. Our claim form does only allow customers to attach 3 photos and we do require photos of each plant that has perished under our One Year Warranty policy. We did provide an email that you can forward additional photos to attach to your claim. Unfortunatly, without receiving photos of the 31 plants that have perished, we would be unable to honor the warranty for all 31 plants however, we can cover the plants from your initial claim and have sent a follow up email to provide assistance.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 09/13/2025

I am rejecting this response because: after submitting my warranty claim (that only allowed 3 photos to be attached), I followed up with their customer service department because I had not received a response. I was advised that they received my claim and they were processing it. They did not tell me they needed more photos until later, at which time the dead plants had already been removed.

In the past, I have had no issues with the few returns Ive had to make. I ordered an entire orchard worth of fruit trees from this company. Several of the peach trees arrived with insect-eaten leaves. They replaced them all and only asked for a single photo.

For some reason, they seem to be going out of their way to avoid fulfilling their warranty this time. I sincerely hope they decide to do the right thing and make good on their guarantee.

    Business Response

    Date: 09/15/2025

We sincerely apologize that you were unable to submit additional photos. This order shipped on 9/9/24 and the One Year Warranty is valid for 1 year from the order being shipped. From the correspondence, we did receive a claim on 5/12/25 where photos were provided of 3 of the plants. On 5/16 we also have correspondence via chat in which we provided an email address as well as a phone number to contact us for further assistance with the claim. On 5/21 we also recieved a follow up email stating photos would be sent that week. Unfortunatly we have not recieved additional photos and have sent a follow up email advising we can honor the warranty for the 3 plants that we recieved the initial claim for. We have not recieved a reply back from the cusomer. Unfortunatly, without photos of the additional plants, we would be unable to process a claim for all 36 plants on the order. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 09/15/2025

I am rejecting this response because: My conversation with their customer service department was over the phone. When I reached out by phone to inquire about the status of my claim, they stated that they had the claim and did not tell me that I needed additional photos. This company used to have integrity. If you will not honor your own guarantee, I will pursue this with the *********************************. It saddens me that you're willing to lose a loyal customer over this.

I caution you to be extremely careful before spending your money with the Fast Growing Trees company. They did not wish to stand behind their warranty because they said I should have read their articles and not purchased trees that were out of my growing zone. Every one of my six trees died almost immediately. They were brown when they arrived at my home and I should have sent them back instead of trying to help them live. Even after requesting to speak to their management team, that conversation was useless so be careful where you put your money...I am highly DISSATIFIED with this company. My neighbors and friends have appreciated me letting them know. I am working to put the word out there to stay AWAY from the company Fast Growing Trees. Management was quick to tell me they have "too many customers" to let people know when a purchase is for the wrong area for successful growing. Instead they simply take your money. Sad but true.

    Business Response

    Date: 09/10/2025

We sincerely apologize that your Thuja Green Giant trees did not make it. The Thuja Green Giant is reccomended for growing zones 5-8 and unfortunatly, these would not thrive in your location since you are in zone 9. We do have a zone checker at the top of our site and provide zoning information on each product page. You can also place orders by phone to ensure the plants selected will work for your location. Unfortunatly, planting trees outside of their reccomended growing zone is not covered under our Guarantee. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 09/12/2025

I am rejecting this response because: this is simply a copy and pasted response they give all their customers after they take their money and their trees do not thrive as promised, they die. I further find it very unprofessional to say they have "too many customers" to care to improve with their satisfaction guarantee when I spoke with them on the phone. They should do the right thing and REPLACE these six trees! I'm not asking for my money to be returned, I'm simply asking for them to make right on their product for which they took my money! If necessary, I can dispute this payment and my money will be returned to me. I'm trying to help them have the money and I want replacement trees. They should be willing to stand behind their trees because they are NOT fast growing, they are dead! I submitted pictures to them as requested and they didn't even care. I've already read their response before when they emailed me directly. That's why I contacted you because other customers deserve to know that this is not how customers should be treated when doing business. I want my trees to be replaced.

We sincerely apologize that the Thujas did not make it. Unfortunatly, these will not thrive in zone 9 and we are unable to process a replacement for these as planting trees outside of the reccomended growing zone is not covered under our guarantee. We have followed up with the customer to provide additional assistance.

I bought over 600 dollars worth of climbing roses. My growing zone is right on the border of two zones. When I purchased, i asked if they would survive my winter, the lady said yesi bought. A few days later i second guessed her and talked to someone in their greenhouse. He told me plant them up to the knuckle and cover them good with mulch. I did that. Every **** died over winter. They lied to me. And the warranty is c*** bc one, it would cost me a fortune to send back each dead ****, and two, the say they replace it with the same productit will just die again. They totally lied to me to make a sale.

    Business Response

We sincerely apologize that your roses did not make it. The initial order was placed online on 7/14/2024. The same da, we recieved a call to add to the order and also asked about cold hardiness for the Double Knock Out Rose. These grow best in zones 5 to 10. The planting location is zone 4. Some plants can handle slightly outside of their reccomended growing zone, and we provided winterization advice to help them make it through the winter.

On 7/29/24 we recieved a call to discuss the care and winterization and we advised that we would cover these under the One Year Warranty if they perish within a year from shipping. Our One Year Warranty covers a one time replacement if the customer covers shipping or a store credit for the price paid for the plants. For assistance with the warranty, we request photos of the plants submitted via our Contact Us Form: ***********************************************

We are so sorry, unfortunatly due to the age of the order these would no longer be covered however, we can assist with planting and care advice if you do wish to reorder.
