I ordered 2 honeysuckle vine plants from Fast Growing Trees on 5/16, ship date 5/23. Then they emailed me on 5/20 stating they weren't able to ship til mid-June. Now they state September 30th. They shouldn't be advertising for items they do not have in-stock.Business Response

I purchased 8 plants totaling $336.63 last year. Two immediately looked diseased, stressed and blighted. I contacted them and received no response. 7 of the 8 have since died. I contacted their chat on 4/9/23. Their representative offered and invoiced 2 warranties immediately, 1 for each order continuously asking if I was going to pay for them then. After reviewing BBB complaints and checking FGT website, and noticing that the ** orders weren't included on the invoices, I emailed them to verify if I could actually purchase warranties now since that information is not on their website and if so, I would need cost for full replacement shipping that I was told I would have to pay. I've received no response and I do not expect to either. When I initially purchased the plants, I was under the impression they were warranted for one year per the information on their site at the time or I would have never bought from them to begin with. I am now requesting a full refund. I don't trust the company nor their plants at this point and want to replace the plants locally and will never purchase plants online again due to this experience. They should, honestly, be put out of business for the trouble they put their customers through for caring for the diseased plants they receive and time spent trying to correct these issues with absolutely no response or support from the company other than a chat representative pushing a shady after-purchase warranty that is not mentioned on their site.Business Response

I purchased trees from FastGrowingTrees.com in April 2022. They had to replace 2 because they were dead . All trees were smaller than I ordered. 3 did not make it through the winter and 2 are so small they won't have fruit again this year. I spoke with someone about a week ago. This company is a scam. I ordered what was supposed to be an extremely matured fruit tree for $150+ and received one long stick with a cluster of bolted dying leaves. It wasn't technically dead so they can pay their hand off technically I'm sure but you should see this difference - I would have been better off with a $50 yearling from one of many competitors. Tried contacting company and and can no response. On my way to replace now from the local nursery with another $150 I do not have. I guess the kids won't eat much this week.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I reached out to the business 3 initial times in total via their website and direct email with no response received until after this complaint was filed. I was clear in what I was seeking - a refund or replacement for a falsely advertised tree without time wasted. Seeing as I've already absorbed costs to replace the tree locally before it became too late to be able to do so seasonally, a refund for the tree against the original payment method would now be an acceptable response and I am glad to hear there is a 30 warranty you are prepared to honor for this.

Ordered 2 trees from Fast Growing Trees, order # **********, received Saturday May 6th in good condition but potted and rooted together as one plant. Their web site never mentions this and as a matter of fact leads you to believe you are receiving two distinct separately potted plants, I spent almost an hour on their chat line with them this morning trying to understand and resolve this issue. According to them they never outright mention plants to be shipped and potted as two plants and that they take no responsibility in separating them. They further suggest I carefully divide them myself. I am not the plant expert here, they are, and I cannot understand why after spending $150 for two plants I become responsible dividing them. Honestly, if I had wanted one plant I would have ordered one plant and not two. One or both could easily die off resulting from this division and I cant see why the liability is on me.Business Response

This company billed me before having the item in stock or ready to ship. I purchased a tree on April 19th - my credit card was immediately billed. After a week when I noticed that the item had not shipped, I contacted then and was told they are working to ship it on May 5. That's 16 days from the order and billing!! Since I live in ************, **, their shipping takes at least 7 days; they will not speed this up; I asked. They spend a ton of money advertising but little on the customer end of things. I don't think it's ethical and perhaps not even legal to bill a credit card more than two weeks before an item is shipped - if that date is honored at all.Order Number: **********Business Response

I placed an order (**********) in February for four plants and a fertilizer kit. The order summary stated that the plants would be shipped at the beginning of April due to the zone that I am located in. As of today (4/28/23) I have not received any shipping confirmations. I have followed up multiple times with the company's customer service team and was told that the order would ship within a few days each time I spoke to them, none of which has actually happened. I still have not received my order. Due to the complete lack of communication and unreasonable shipping delays, I am asking for my order to be fulfilled in it's entirety immediately along with a partial refund or credit of $50.00.Business Response

Have purchased trees from this company the last 3 years. 3 rose trees. (2 have died since) and the one left is barely hanging in there. Also purchased 5 thundercloud plum trees. Since 3 years ago, two have had to be repurchased/replaced and another that was dead and placed another order for arrived last week with not one leaf on it. Just bare branches.
