Buyer Beware of Quick Health. They scam people.
It has been a Nightmare dealing with cust. serv. Those reviews who managed to talk to anyone live is fortunate. Plus they keep only Midwest hrs. I live on the W. Coast. So when I tried calling at 4 pm, their office to get an estimate of coverage for a mammogram, their office is closed. Lately, I've called on regular bus. Hours and there is no one answering. The auto recorder takes your tel # and you have to expect a call back. No one has called me back yet after two calls Fri before Labor Day. I called last Fri and no call back. I called 3-4 times this week to ask to cancel Nov 1st and no call back. I did email and so far no email back. I will fax them a letter. I made a serious mistake in not researching Quick Health. I needed to cancel my Medicaid ins. I don't work FT I spoke with Quick Health on the phone. The first health ins. was First Health Ins. from Quick Health. It was very confusing since you still need to call Quick Health's 1-800 to ask for info.now. The contract expired with this First Health, Dec 31st, 2022. I found that out going to my pharmacist in Sept. I prepaid for the policy the whole year on my credit card. Multiplan, the new Ins. co. Swedish cancelled their contract with Multiplan. Swedish is a large HMO that normally accepts most ins. I was so upset that I got billed in full over $250 for one consult appt with no exam, plus blood test. The Lab is a provider. My 2nd appt at Swedish was end of Sept. I argued with the front desk. The billing supervisor showed me that they cancelled the contract in Aug. ABN a 3rd party biller for Quick Health charged me on 6/30 $3,157. I managed to talk with Tonya. She stated Not To Talk over Her. She refused to reverse the charges when I called in July. Then she hung up in me since she did not call back. I emailed her but no answer back.My credit card was charge this month again for the Nov 1 coverage I did talk to my credit cd to dispute the double billing.

This company is an absolute disgrace. Even though my policy is paid in full through August 2024, it was suddenly dropped on 9/1//23 and have been told repeated lies that it will be reinstated. They have my money but stopped paying the insurance carrier and now I am without coverage.

QUICK HEALTH IS FRAUDULENTLY SELLING DEFUNCT HEALTH INSURANCE POLICIES! They will continue to take money from your bank account even after you cancel your policy with them. Maryland Insurance Commissioner has gotten involved and is investigating them. Please be aware!

Quick Health which bills under Q-Health has unethical business practices. I originally bought a 3 month bridge policy, which I cancelled with over 30 days notice. The company continued to bill me promised a refund within 6 weeks which didn't come but assured me I was cancelled before in the system and there would be no further issues. I am again was billed an additional 3 month. So I have 6 months of unauthorized charges on my credit card. I had contacted Q-Health multiple times and each time promised a refund within 2 weeks, then 10 days, the. 7 days then 3 days. The refunds never came. I was able to work with Visa in disputing the charges to finally get a refund. Stay away at all costs. If somehow you find yourself doing business use a credit care for payment and go directly to the CC company to dispute charges or pay only with a prepaid card. Do not pay more than 3 months at a time. I would do this for any because through covered California you have no idea what company is brokering your insurance.

As of June 2023 I cancelled my membership with Quick Health -confirmation # 0022-117901 and have yet to receive my refund of $2,691 for payments made to a plan that was never activated in Feb. 2023.

I was informed the quarterly payment of $897 would be deducted on 1/15/2023, when payment was taken out December 30, 2022 I was surprised and unprepared. I was told by Tonya on 1/10/23 that payment was taken early in order to receive my new insurance card within 7-10 business days. I never received a new card via mail, only a digital copy, also insurance benefits & plan details were never received. I continued to call Quick health 3/14/23, 4/11/23, 4/25/23 to follow up on receiving a card and ensuring the insurance was active without any confirmation.

In May I spoke w/SBMA (supposed insurance company) to determine whether or not my insurance was active, at which time I found out it was not. My insurance was terminated January 2023 and was NOT renewed. That same day I followed up with Tara at Quick health to inform her that SBMA does not have me as an active member. Tara said I was covered yet I was currently inactive and that she would elevate the issue to get new verification and that she would call us when it was active (within 7-10 business days). Still no call to date to notify of active membership. I then called back 5/30/23 and spoke with Victoria, she informed me it would be rectified soon. On 6/16/23 I spoke with Charles, and informed him that yet another payment was trying to come out before the time we were told it would be withdrawn, again we were unprepared. SO as of now we have paid $2,691 and have yet to receive any coverage or beneficial discounts through your program.

At this time I am requesting a full refund of $2,691 for an inactive insurance plan that was paid in a very timely manner, for myself who has been without coverage since January due to internal Quickhealth errors.

Bought a plan with Quick Health in August 4,2023 was told it would cover my daughters pregnancy from appointments to delivery. Was told I needed to pay in full an amount of $5310.44, which I paid. Not found out she has no insurance. The doctor office has called the insurance and she is not eligible and has no insurance. We have called quick health many times they send us the same information that is still when you call she has no insurance. We have called now multiple times and nothing is happening. Now making a claim with the bank and police for fraudulent changes. I am just unsure how this can keep happening to people why this Quick Health is still in business is beyond me.
