1 starI purchased a health insurance policy for myself and was sold a bill of goods. Pure lies. I was told this was full coverage, and bought into this. When I called a few months into it, to confirm what I believed I had purchased, it was nothing near the coverage I was told it was. I proceeded to cancel on 5/18/23 - it's been OVER A MONTH, and I cannot get anyone to "confirm" in an email - which they claimed they'd send - of the cancellation nor have I received the $1839.10 that I should have received right away.
What a horrific company. After reading reviews here, I see MANY other clients are suffering similar situations. The rep I spoke with yet again today, told me their website is "under construction" - what a crock of crap!
STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY - THEY'LL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN, EVEN IF YOU CANCEL, WHICH YOU'RE WITHIN YOUR RIGHT TO DO!!!!!!Review fromSophia A

Signed up for a health plan when I was very ill and not able to advocate for myself as well as I normally prefer. The rep was extremely nice and said that so many services would be covered. I did manage to find doctors on the plan, but the majority of the time, when I gave my card at offices, the staff would be completely confused on what this plan was and how to run the card. Most services were not covered. If I had been told that upfront, that would be one thing, but the rep specifically said the services I was talking about would all be covered at least partially.
Come to find out, all the time I was talking to the rep I was assuming this was a healthcare insurance company, an impression he very much did not correct me on. I read the fine print much later and it says that legally speaking, they are not a healthcare insurance company, which I assume allows them to slither past a lot of accountability for their actions.
When I finally found a real insurance company that looked right to apply for, I called and canceled my plan with this company before the renewal date. That was November 2022, and so far as of JUNE 2023 they not refunded me. I have called countless times and each time I was specifically promised that the refund was imminent, that I would receive an official refund email from them next week, next week, next week. By now I am starting to feel that a refund will never happen, and what's worse is that the company structure (company merger, third-party BS, etc) makes it so opaque that I don't even know who to send an official complaint to. They owe me over 1000 dollars, and I am just grateful that I am not owed as much as other people whose complaints I have read.
I cannot state enough. This company whatever name they're going by: Quick Health, Consumer Data Partners LP, SBMA Cambridge Health, First Health Network, Advantage 3, Cambridge 5, IS A FRAUD AND SHOULD FACE LEGAL PUNISHMENT FOR WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO VULNERABLE PEOPLE.Review fromAngel M

1 starIn mid-November, I purchased a full year ahead of health, Rx, and dental insurance. Thinking their price of $7637 was too high, I found a better deal elsewhere, and within the 3 day Buyer's Remorse period, I called asking to cancel and for a refund. Just as other complaints on this site said, no refund came. I called back 10-20 times and tried emailing. Each time, the rep said a refund was coming, and none came. I tried emailing any address I could find in their company and received no response. Finally in early Jan, 2023, I sent a big packet of hard copies of all my information to the so-called headquarters address in Texas, certified. This was returned to me by USPS saying no one picked up my mail. Somehow I had gotten the attention of someone there, because in late Jan., I received an email from "Arthur Walsh, CEO of QHealth," saying the company has made mistakes. He gave an email address and phone number. I called the number and left a VM. No response. I wrote a detailed email to him and received no response. I had tried to dispute this via my credit card co., and they couldn't help because I couldn't furnish written proof of having requested cancellation and refund. Each time I've called the co., the rep is able to confirm seeing in my file that I canceled in Nov. Reps every time said the company does not furnish policy cancellations in writing.Review fromAngela (Richard) R

1 starI am in the same boat as the rest of you. In June 2022, we paid over $10,000 for a one-year policy which we canceled August 4, 2022 as a result of my husband getting a job (he was in between jobs and I am on Disability, but was not yet on ******** (July 2022 I obtained it)). When we signed up, Jason was the person we talked to. I am on VERY expensive medication, and he told us the copay was only $10. I made him check three times as the very least I had ever paid was $150 for one month supply of the one medication. He assured me it was. He also assured me my doctors, specialists, and unique needs would be covered under this plan. NONE WERE. We would have cancelled July 1, 2022, but we felt that my husband having some sort of insurance was important at that point.
Jason told us that if we cancelled, we'd get paid within two weeks. HAHA.. It's been 7 months. At first, I called monthly, then bi-weekly, then weekly, now I call two times a week because I want my money (and at this point just to annoy them) and to demand my money. Their excuses have included that our ACH number wasn't correct (it was), then once they said that was fixed, they were having trouble having their third-party administrator (but wouldn't tell me who that was) accept the ACH number and that it had to be manually inputted into the program. Then they said the ACH numbers weren't working for ANYONE to or from the third-party administrator. I have come close to "getting an email stating the money is in your account" twice. I have stated at least 4 times that we will accept a written check mailed to our home address. We would gladly accept that. At this point, I'd prefer that. Then something new comes up. They owe us almost $7,000. They even have stated they will be calling me daily (they never do). I will be seeking legal action.Review fromDonna G

1 starI purchased a dental savings plan on March 14. I thought I was speaking with a broker. I was supposed to have my Id card and documents sent to my email. After two days I called and I was told there is a hold from Aetna. I called Aetna and they didn’t have any of my information on file. I called back and told the representative I want a refund because this dental savings plan doesn’t exist. I was told I had wait for 5 to 6 weeks for refund. I told them that’s ridiculous. Called today and was told the cancellation request is in system and I will receive a refund. I cannot believe I fell for this. Now I have to go to my bank and tell them what happened. 1 starI was contacted by a representative regarding this insurance policy After a 45 minute conversation with a representative he assures me that my doctor was in network (he searched my doctor and gave me my doctors full info) and the pharmacy I use is part of the service. I accepted and paid 732.00 in January and 632.00 in February. I was told that I was going to receive my insurance card in the mail I was waiting and growing impatient because I never received my card. I went to my doctors office to see if they know of this company and they said no & I then went to my Pharmacy and they said they do not accept this service. I have made 12 calls regarding this company & requesting information. They said it was corrected and my doctor was now in network. And to wait to hear back from them on 2/17 so I can make my doctors appointment. I called Quick Health on 2/24 and spoke with David representative extn 0175. I did ask him if this call was recorded and he said yes. I was happy to hear that. I explained the situation and A confident David understood and assured me that my plan was now cancelled and I will receive a full refund of 1264.00 (632.00 per month) January & February payments he even went as far as mentioning that even though I paid 732.00 in January 100.00 was the sign up fee to which I cannot get back. I understood and agreed to wait for my promised refund. 1264.00 and also March payment was not going to be processed. I just called and spoke with Tonya another representative of Quick Health who claimed to be a manager and basically said that there is no refund and that I cannot speak with anyone else. I asked for David and he admitted that made a mistake and said sorry because he just started but did note the record. I did inform them that I was contacting BBB, I am requesting this policy cancelled and a full refund I will also contact all the other companies that deal with Quick HealthReview fromAngela S

1 starI purchased a supplemental plan from Quick Health Care on August 24th of 2021 to start on September 1st 2021 but had to cancel because of Medicare changes. On October 18th I called and canceled my plan. It has been 1 year and 4 months and I still have not been refunded. This company is a sham, every time I call they say they a updating their system. I paid for a whole year in advance over $1,300.00. I wish I knew who to sue.Review fromElizabeth T

1 starI'd give zero stars if I could. I have had to change my plan from three people to two and am still being charged for the previous three person plan in addition to the two person plan. This is the 2nd month in a row of this and my 3rd dispute against them total in the last four months. To make it worse they try to scare you saying filing a dispute with make the process longer to get your money back. THIS IS A BOLD FACED LIE! If you are told this file a dispute anyway. Like I said, this is my third time and each time the bank said they weren't even contacted to correct it (after 2 weeks of supposedly being expedited)... the bank has gotten my money square each time within a couple days. All this stupid quickhealth company seems to be able to do is assure you...ASSURE SO MANY TIMES that it has been canceled, but refuse to give you written notice or a reference number. After sheding a few tears I got a screenshot that says cancel (not canceled) with everything zeroed out except the reoccurring fee of $500+. when I asked about it, I was told this is the best he could do and that there was no one else I could talk to... So I'm sure I will have to file a dispute next month as well. I am seriously considering blocking them from making any charges in the future and going elsewhere for care. I will as soon as I find a policy I can afford that works where I need it to; otherwise I swear I'm going to die of stress that my $400/mo plan doesn't cover hospital bills for or charges me $50 to see my primary care giver for... That is another thing I haven't been able to clear up and not sure I will be able to ever at this rate. If I didn't need insurance, I absolutely would not be here for any reason.Review fromGary D
