I paid for health insurance for my wife, ******************************* for 1 year November 2023.In April 2024 they said they changed carriers and needed to pay for new insurance for another year starting May 1, 2024. They billed me for another year and said I would get a refund of approximately $4000,00 from the previous policy within a month. In April they charged another one of my credit cards $7,990.00 for the previous insurance. They told me I would get that back within 30 days, its now been almost 2 months and when I call them they say its been escalated to management but no one there can tell me anything about the refunds for approximately $12,000 that they owe me in refundsInitial Complaint

1/02/2024 $4474.00 This was for health insurance secured through Cambridge health for a one year premium. Quick health was the conduit for securing this insurance. On May 7 I spoke with quick health because I was receiving messages about my insurance lapsing. They told me that they were changing from ********* health to OptiMed due to issues with Cambridge. They offered a new policy for one year effective June, one of which I paid $4600. I was told I would receive a refund for my prior policy, this was confirmed through three employees. **************************, and lastly, *****, who is the *** of the firm I have emails from ***** confirming this refund should have taken place. I have made several calls to both customer service and billing and I have been unable to receive any satisfactory explanation As to why I have not received my funds. I can provide emails from ***** confirming this. I am seeking this refund. $1238.00 1/02/2024 This amount was to secure dental insurance through Ameritas. Quick health was the conduit for securing this insurance. After receiving multiple texts concerning my coverage with Ameritas lapsing , I have reached out to find out what was happening. I initially spoke with ***** about this who told me not to worry about it. I subsequently have email communication with *****, the *** that he was looking into this for me. I have been unable to receive any clarification from quick health. I now have received a letter dated may 22, 2024 that my dental plan with Ameritas is being canceled due to nonpayment by quick health. I paid for an annual plan which should have taken me through January 2025. I am seeking reimbursement for this insurance.Initial Complaint

This company has changed my policy 3 times since oct/23. Paid $9989 from oct to oct even though I had coverage till dec 31 of 23. Called March 11 to change coverage not doing business with Cambridge any longer- needed a new policy 3/11/24 paid them $8724.98 April 1st to April 1st. I turn 65 in January so dont need their coverage till then. Have spoke to **** and ***** who said no more than 90 days. Rude woman today said they are just a middleman and have no control over my money coming back. ***** told me $5775 but today they have no idea how much or when. The biggest scam I have encountered in health insurance and that's saying a lot. We had this policy previously but were never informed that it did not include emergency care. Upon renewal time, they indicated that they had a new plan that would cover emergency care. We were supposed to be prorated with the remaining balance with our previous plan to be transferred to the new policy. They did not do this and charged my card for the full policy. We asked to cancel the policy two weeks later by phone. We then followed up with an email well within the 30 day time period. We repeatedly asked for a confirmation email which they did not provide. They they indicated it would be 30 days to receive our refund. Approaching the 30 day ***** we followed up and they now said they will not be processing our refund. Absolute scammers. 10/23/2023 signed up with Quick Health for health insurance, plus dental...they took $598.99 out of my checking account...This money was not supposed to come out until November 1st...10/24/2023 canceled all of it and spoke to my bank so no more money goes to them. I have spoken with many of their employees all stating I will be refunded but takes a while. here we are 8 months later and I have not been refunded. After letting Quick Health know on December 22, I would not be renewing my policy, they withdrew money from my account, signing me up for another year. I didn't notice until Feb.28th when my bank statement came in. They had charged me on Feb. 14th. I called customer service who said send an e-mail and he would take care and I could expect a refund in about 30 days. It is nearing 90 days now and when I call, it is always the same. Right before May 1, I was bombarded by text and calls every day three or four calls a day saying I wouldnt have any more health insurance and it was switching from Cambridge 10 to OptiMed health insurance and I needed to pay $15,000. And they would refund me $9064, so May 1 I agreed that they could refund me first the $9064 and then take out $$15,000. My insurance, would then go from May 1, 2024 May 1, 2025.On May 1, they took out $4000 May 2 another $4000 May 3 another $4000 and May 4 $3000. And they never returned my $9064 like they said they would do. So now they owe me $9064 every day since May 1 I have called them by May 10 I asked for a receipt. They never sent me a receipt but they said it was confirmed they sent it by May 20. I asked where it is and they said it was just confirmed that they sent it and give it 14 days to be put in my bank account. I know that it just takes up to two days to get into my bank account so theyre lying and theyve been stringing me along. Im not sure what to do , I would like my $9064 in my account . The person that Ive been told to talk to is *****. And she just leads me on every time I speak to her if I can get her on the phone, she makes up lies. This has been a horrible experience the sales person I that sold me this policy was ******, there is nobody higher up that we can speak with and they wont tell me the third-party billing and refund department.Initial Complaint

In June 2023, I was sold a one year fraudulent healthcare policy by Quick Health. I found the company on the ** health care plan finder which was supposed to be a source for reputable companies. Subsequently, after the requested a renewal in Jan 2024, I had discovered discrepancies in the information provided by Quick Health. It has taken 5 months to uncover the depths of the Fraud being committed by Quick Health. I have recently reported my findings including the investigation by *** and the *** to *** in ********. They have found that Quick Health has committed and defrauded over 70 ** residents. I am seeking full refund of my premiums in the amount of $13,579.14. I have been notified by my credit card company that they are well aware of the Fruad that has been committed and that I need to seek additional resolution thru the BBB. I have also filed a complaint with the ** Attorney General Office. I seek restitution for the fraud that has been committed by Quick Health. Subsquently, my complaint has caused the *** in ** to revoke the license of ********************** in the State of ** and fined them $100,000 for fraudalant activity. The *********************** of the Insurance Commissioner (***) has reviewed the complaint you filed against Seguro Medico, LLC dba Quick Health (Quick Health). *** has investigated Quick Health and took enforcement action against the entity effective March 26, 2024.Initial Complaint

I purchased a plan through them for $805.99 and then I canceled it the same day. The girl I spoke to gave me a cancelation number (S1836327) said my refund would be $808.80. Instead of receiving that refund I've been charged 2 more times that $808.80 in addition to that $805.99 I have not received a refund. Whenever I call they give the run around or just hang up on me. Or they give me wrong number to call. I just need the refund. I believe this is fraud.
