I joined Quick Health on December 27 2023 to get some dental work done and was lied to about what the service provides. I was told that this was a PPO that covered all of my dental work and once I paid the ****** dollars, I was told that it is not a PPO and it was only a discount plan. I cancelled the plan immediately and was told that if it was cancelled within 30 days, I would receive a full refund. I have not received any refund and have called them daily about this matter and now they are not taking calls. I was told that my refund would appear back on my card within 30 days from the day of cancellation. I was giving excuse after excuse as to why they have not refunded my money, in addition to that, the plan they said that I was enrolled in has no record of me at all. I am on disability and cannot afford to throw ****** away. I called them this morning and held on the phone for 3 hours and no one picked up, I have also requested a call back which was done on Tuesday, Wednesday and today and have yet to get a call back. I still have the dental problem and now I am not able to see a dentist without my refund. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.***************************** ************Customer Answer

My name is *************************, I purchased health insurance from a company called QuickHealth out of ******** but I think they are based out of PA. I paid the amount below upfront and then cancelled about 45 days later. When I called to cancel my policy, I was told that I did not need to send a letter to cancel. I have attached the document below that I submitted to the *** which is the ******** Insurance Department. They have work hard to get me a refund however it is less than half of what I paid upfront. I got the run around from them for over a year but, when I submitted my complaint with the ***, that was when they asked for a letter of cancellation. I know that they recorded the phone calls bc it says that the call is being record. I specifically asked if I needed to send a letter when I called initially to cancel policy. The form that i signed says in one area that I need to send a letter but in another area it states that I can just call. After verifying that I did not need to send a letter, I thought i was cancelled however they would not refund my funds. I would like to speak to someone about this issue because I feel that it was not handle correctly. Please feel free to contact me at ************. I would like to warn other about this company so that they do not have to go through what I have gone through.Initial Complaint

Quick health sold me an insurance for my family for 2023 in the amount of $6,000 annually, over 2023, not a single claim was paid by the insurance. I just noticed the reputation they have online on BBB's site and it's a pattern. When I've mentioned this to their customer service team, they stated they were looking into it and will get back and no updates. Given all the information was not accurate and no claim was processed, even an annual physical was not processed, I should be getting a full refund of the $6000 paid to them. Reference plan number - ******. I've asked them several times to show all the claims that got processed and they said they will work with the carrier that they sold the plan for and no response.Initial Complaint

I paid a 6-month premium of $5725 on 10-24-2023 through Quick Health agents. After 2 month and 21 days on 01-21-2024, I still don't have a valid medical ** and never was able to view a valid account online. It effectively means that I never had the expected medical insurance despite having paid the 6-month premium in full. The insurance offered through Quick Health agents is a scam. On January 8, 2024, I called and enrolled in healthcare, which I desperately needed. I explained to the agent that I was shopping around to see which policy would be better for me. The agent informed me that open enrollment was to close on January 15, ****************************************************************************************** After further conversation, I decided to enroll. I paid a total of $513, I opted out of the paying by the year option. I was specifically told, and agreed to, $388.43 a month (recurring charge) to be charged to my debit card on the 8th of every month. However, when I received my paperwork via email, I was given a long list of what the insurance did NOT cover. I called immediately to cancel on January 9, 2024. I called for a whole week and continously got a recording informing me, due to open enrollment, wait time were longer than usual, I could sit on a hold or receive a call back. On hold, no one picks up your call. If you leave a call back, no one calls back. Even after January 15, when open enrollment was supposedly closed, it was still the same message. Finally, January 17, 2024, I received a call back. I cancelled my insurance, I was informed it could take up to 30 for the full $513 refund. Instead, on January 20, 2024, I show a pending amount from Quickhealth of $388.43. Of course, now I can't get through to the company, and I have to wait until Monday for my bank to dispute the charges. The charge was originally a recurring monthly charge, but when I canceled, it showed on my bank statement, a one time charge. That was purposely done. If I cancelled on January 17, why would I owe a payment on January 20? And, even if I had not cancelled, my payment wasn't due until February 8, 2024! After reading numerous reviews (which I should have done first), this place should be put out of business. Its crazy that almost 100 negative reviews in just 12 months, of this company stealing money from clients, this place is still active.Initial Complaint

In September 2021, I obtained Quick Med as a health insurance option for my 26 year old daughter since I could no longer carry her on my employer's policy.I paid the premium for one year 2021-2022. At which point on 9/30/22 I cancelled the policy and terminated the auto payment option however the premium was already taken out. I have called this company no less than 10 times to ask for a refund. Each time the representative says in fact there records show I am due a full refund and they will expedite it to their supervisor. In June 2023, they said the refund is scheduled to be deposited in 2-3 days. Nothing received. Each time I call they say they do not know why this refund hasn't gone through. Once they promised to call me back two days later after they discussed with their supervisor. No call received. Once they told me the refund will take 2-3 weeks. Again never received a refund. I have no documents concerning this policy. Just a phone number ************. They access our account by using my phone number of ************. Since the policy is in my daughter's name(*********************), they did obtain permission from her to discuss the account with me.Please assist in getting this refund returned.Customer Answer

Since lodging my complaint with your agency, I have continued to call their phone number and after waiting on hold, the line disconnects. This has occurred several times.
Since this is a PA based company, do I now reach out to the PA Attorneys Office?Your efforts and guidance are appreciated.

This company has failed to return my refund back and also has charged me for services after saying they have cancelled my policy. I called on January 5th, set up a dental savings plan, called the following Monday Jan 8 and canceled the savings plan. I asked for an estimated date of my refund and was told they didnt know. I called back the next Monday and asked about the status of my refund and was told I needed to send in a letter of verification stating I want to cancel. No one called or emailed me asking for this prior or let me know the during my cancellation call? Sent in the email on Jan 15, was told this would be added to my cancellation and I told the lady I was getting multiple texts of being charged for future and I told her I wanted to make sure this was done correctly as I am in cancellation nothing needs to be charged and still today January 19th my credit card was charged. They do not pick up the phone when they open at 9am it hangs up constantly each time, they do not respond to emails, and I read many reviews online stating that I am not the only one who has dealt with this issue from this establishment. I am furious and I hope you guys can help.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
There is no response besides please see response. This plan that has been canceled well over three weeks ago should not still be in review. I demand the correct refund from this company and to please delete any information they have on file about me including social security number, addresses, and telephone numbers as I do not trust they will not share with other companies.

Update!! Ive received a $99 refund from Quickhealth and am still waiting on the refund of the $44.99 and $40.00. As per the policy PDF I received it statesYou have the right to cancel participation in the program at any time. If you do so within 30 days of receipt of your membership materials, you will receive a full refund of all fees and or dues paid to participate in the *** minus the one-time non-refundable processing fee. If the processing fee is more than thirty dollars, it will be refunded.Which I dont even see a word for processing fee on this policy document, but it does say one time under enrollment which the one time fee was actually the $99. I should be receiving the $44.99 and $40.00 as they are reoccurring monthly charges like stated in the pdf.Thank you,*****************************;Initial Complaint

Transaction Date-8/15/2023 Total Payment-$3,825.00 for 1 year of premiums for Couples Coverage Plan paid in full up front. At my wife's first appointment after purchasing this plan, I was told by the billing department that my wife was not listed on the insurance plan. I contacted Quick Health and was told they would resolve the problem. I called almost every other day for 3 weeks spending multiple hours on the phone trying to resolve this with agents. I requested a refund due to not receiving what I had purchased and was told I would receive one. It has now been almost 2 months since asking for a refund and I have not received one. I have called numerous times, and have emailed requesting my refund. I have been told by each agent I spoke with "no idea why the issue is not resolved", "people above me have not gotten back to me", "sorry this issue hasn't been resolved", "sorry". Many times I expressed how frustrated I was and was told "I can understand why", "I don't know why", and I was never given a reason why to this day it hasn't happened. I was put on hold off and on for the 15 days I contacted them for 39 phone calls over 7.5 hours. No resolution to date. I've researched and found the *** *********************** has been to court convicted of fraud, Class Action Lawsuits of which payments were made to multiple consumers/victims. My husband and I were looking to purchase private health insurance. We found Quickhealth, who provided us with information regarding a health insurance plan over the phone. We requested to see in writing services that this plan covered prior to purchase (such as labs, imaging, vision and dental). Quickhealth informed us that they could not provide this information in writing prior to payment, but assured us that discounts for these services were included in the plan. They stated if we canceled the plan within 30 days of purchase, we would receive a full refund within 30 business days. We purchased the plan on 6/3/23, then received our policy documents. Quickhealth took 2 payments of $2,272.43 on 6/3/23, one of which was faulty, per them, and would be refunded. Our plan did not cover a majority of what we were sold, so we called and upgraded our plan on 7/6/23. Quickhealth took a payment of $4,000.00. We received the upgraded policy documents of 7/6/23. We called several in-network offices to see if they accepted our plan as advertised, but they did not. Additionally, our plan did not cover labs, radiology and imaging, which we had specifically asked for in a plan.On 8/3/23, my husband and I decided to call and cancel our plan. We were within the "30-day Free Look" window. 30 business days later, we had not received any form of refund. We called multiple times over 4 months to inquire about our refund. Each time the customer service representative stated that it was still processing. The most recent phone call on 12/21/23 revealed that our policy had not yet been cancelled (despite having confirmation of termination via phone call in August). According to Quickhealth, a written notice was required to cancel the policy in the form of an email. I sent an email that same day requesting to cancel this policy. We have not received any confirmation that the policy is canceled, and at this time have not received a refund in any form.Initial Complaint
