      Please be warned this company charges for services not rendered. I used this company for my domain and website and upon renewal I decided not to renew and closed my account. However since the company had already billed me for the entire year, and although I canceled just a month after renewal, they are unwilling to prorate for services. And my account has since forwarded to collections. If you bill annually and I close my account and will be unable to use the service the right thing to do would be to prorate for the time used. To bill for the entire year and force a payment seems a predatory to me.

As per our terms and conditions, due to the nature of our services, all services are set to automatically renew as described at the time of order and within the order/contract confirmation emails sent to the email address on file for your account. Please note, the termination of services is to be processed by turning off the automatic renewal within the control panel at least 5 days prior to the renewal date.       Ionos, the worst “service” provider for webservices in the nation possibly in any territory they serve.
      1) Customer service: unresponsive to negligent!
      2) expensive, no competitive pricing at all.
      3) abusive, they will charge you for services you didn’t ask for, they will bring up new names and add to your account and charge you.
      4) ionos will change the terms of your original contract!
      5) ionos charges you for e-mail related products and not provide these products or just cancel them for you, claiming you didn’t want them.
      6) ionos will increase the charge on your contract without your consent.
      7) ionos will charge your account even if your contract has expired and you cancelled!
      8) ionos is putting up barriers for you in case you want to cancel your contract!
      9) ionos is making it difficult for you to access your account information!
      10) ionos is changing the definitions/words in your contract so when you are looking for a certain contract term in your profile you won’t find it because Ionos is using a different word in their search function in order to confuse you and gain time.
      11) cancelling is a difficult task with ionos, today they will affirm your cancellation tomorrow they will charge your account again.
      Be ware, Ionos is a very skilled scammer business although being legit they do everything in their power to relieve you from your hard earned dollars. The so called personal customer service specialist is doing anything to make you feel special, agree to work with you only to take your money as soon as you hang up the phone.
      Do yourself a favor after getting into a contract with Ionos, cancel the payment details on file, cancel the CC and finished.

      There was a probable information breach of IONOS. This has resulted in charges to customer & theft. These people IONOS has hired have been using their answering service to get people access too their laptop. Please be advised of this. My company has lost thousands in this & 0 help from IONOS just denying that it even occurred even when I offered to show the call logs from their service. They wiped them. Your information is not safe
