      They are billing me for things that I did not order. My domain isn't even with them anymore but they will not take my credit card off and refuse to set my contract to not renew. PLEASE GET MY INFORMATION OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM!!!!!!

      Horrible web hosting company. They got me with a cheap intro rate, but I didnt like their product. So I did not intend to continue on after the first year. I signed up for one year and paid for the one year and thought it would come to an end if I did not pay again to continue to contract. Oh no they sent me to collections. They have all of their accounts set to auto renew that cannot be changed online. I basically have no way to get out of this contract without sitting on the phone and waiting for them to answer with long wait times. Ive been scammed into a never-ending contract. They admit it in their auto response email to the email address they provide making it appear easy to cancel their service they reply As per Terms and Conditions, all contract are set to auto-renew for business continuity and you have to call in advance if you do not wish to extend your contract and that was what happened. They actually say if you do not wish to extend your contract and that was what happened.? Of course that is what has happened! Clearly, it happens a lot or else you would not include this statement in your auto-reply.I cannot give them zero stats or else I would.

      IONOS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! Buyer beware!!! Representative **** ******, on 4/4/25, offered no resolution! He simply stated, theres nothing they could do. I lost my login and needed to gain access to my account. I opted to change the password to have them send a link to my email address to reset. I attempted this many times with no email link sent. I spoke to Gael who left me on hold for a long time, so I hung up. He called back and stated my email mustve had filters or rules to reject their emails sent. I told him I didnt place them there and I certainly get my billing invoicing by email with no problem. I guess he wanted to pass the **** and send me on a fishing expedition to find out what was wrong with my email account when the problem was obviously on their end. Im able to get all other emails. He offered no resolution. I couldnt get access to my own account. Im paying for this service and he offered no resolution. I told him I would escalate to the better business bureau. I called back the same day to file a complaint and spoke to another male rude ***resentative who wouldnt allow me to talk to a manager to file the grievance. He stated because I complained to the BBB the legal team is now involved and I couldnt speak to anyone. He only knew that based on what I told the other *** because the BBB hadnt even assigned a case number to the complaint yet. So these companies are now entities that stand against the customer. They use their technology, algorithms, legal teams, management, and policy think-tanks to build up defense against customers and to maximize profits. They no longer offer excellent customer service, only opportunities to maximize their bottom line. Do as little as possible when it comes to customer service. I've been with ********************** (formerly 1&1) for over 20 years. 1&1 was great, but IONOS is all about profit, not customers. IF THEY TREAT YOU BADLY, CANCEL AND SWITCH COMPANIES. HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS-THEIR PROFITS!!!

      Things were going okay in my first year with this company. All of a sudden they invoice me for $153 and it was forwarded to collections because Im on a budget and having trouble paying it along with other invoices they piled up on me. I tried calling the debt collection company to settle the debt to see if I can go into a payment plan with them to settle it and left voicemails, they never called me back. I just cancelled two parts of my contract and hope to cancel my whole contract eventually. Those two I was able to do online but I find it shady that you have to call to cancel most contracts after they let you get so far doing it online. I dont ever want to do business with this company again and I dont recommend them to anyone.

      Look at the customer reviews on here and that should tell you something?How do they get an A+ by BBB with a 1.19 out of 5 customer rating?********************** is a scam site.They bill you for things you did not order, and then tell you you are in a 1 year contract that cant be canceled until the contract is up (1 year).They are trying to bill me for things I did not order.I have rented servers, had web hosting accounts... for 20 years.I have never been scammed like this by any other hosting company!Don't be fooled by their prices, they will bill you for a bunch of things you didn't order.

      I recently purchased a domain through IONOS via Webflow while finalizing the development of my website. After completing the transaction, I received the following error message:"Attention! An Error has occurred. Your credit card has been rejected. Please ensure you have entered the information correctly and your card has sufficient funds."First, there was a misspelling in the message (occurred was spelled incorrectly), which is a minor issue but does not inspire confidence. More importantly, despite the message stating that my card was rejected, IONOS still charged my account. I have clear evidence of the transaction, including the contract I agreed to, the error message, and a receipt from my bank.Additionally, I experienced an excessive wait time of approximately 38 minutes before a representative answered my call. When I finally reached someone, it became apparent that they were not adequately trained. They spoke quickly and nervously, fumbled their words, and repeatedly pushed promotional offers rather than addressing my issue. Furthermore, my contract was for one year, yet the representative incorrectly claimed it was for one montha concerning discrepancy.I was assured that the charge would be refunded within 5-8 business days, and I sincerely hope that this commitment is honored. If not, I will escalate this matter beyond a complaint.I regret not reviewing customer feedback before providing my payment details. I hope IONOS does not engage in unethical practices, including the mishandling of customer financial information. Moving forward, I will be extremely cautious with this company and recommend others do the same.

      I set up a web domain and email. The email was advertised at $1 a month and the domain was $8 for the year. This was at the end of November, here we are in Feb and I have a bill for $142 that they won't reverse. Apparently my email was $2 for the two months, but there were some other add on trial services that total up to $140, Now I can't access my email for my new ************* domain is in jeopardy of being cancelled. I reached out and sat on hold for over 40 minutes, now I call in today they say they will cancel my contract, but I have to pay the 140 and it will take three days to post and then they might refund it..... It's a scam when they're not clear their intentions upfront. I was shocked to come here to day and see that this happened to so many people. They also don't want to get a supervisor on the line. This is really not the way to go if you're looking to get a business going.

      We regret the poor experience in speaking with our agents and not answering all questions to your satisfaction.  Once we have more specific account information this call review will be passed to our ***************** Team for quality and training purposes. This team will properly address the agents handling this case and advise management for areas of improvement. 

      Our services always generate email notifications which are delivered to the email address on file with invoices detailing the upcoming charges at that time.  These notifications are also visible within the account anytime at *****************************.  Please be aware that we must have explicit permission from the customer to terminate any services.  This is because all data, emails, domain connections, address books, etc. are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered after cancellation is finalized. Typically we ask that contact is made within 30 days of an invoice date regarding balances as these services as active for the time detailed and are resources which have a cost to make available to the customer.  However to reiterate our first statement, we can absolutely look into this matter more for your particular account.

      STAY AWAY FROM IONOS!!!Customer service is horrible; you schedule calls with the assigned "personal consultant" but never receive any. They flood your inbox and dashboard with a million things and "offers" for products you don't actually need. If, for any reason, even if the assigned personal consultant or customer service representative never gave you a callback to cancel, you can cancel the contract. However, you still get charged for something you never meant to add since the beginning. On top, let's say you acknowledge you didn't cancel on time, but it's a product/service that doesn't make sense AT ALL, well, sorry you still will pay and cannot switch to another service that may help you.If it weren'tt for the fact that I could not transfer the domain I purchased with them (oh! That's another one, by the way), I'd run as far as I could from Ionos. It's been the most horrible experience I have ever had: hidden fees, misleading advertisements, confusing offers, etc.

      First review. I spoke with an IONOS specialist, ****** on 12/28/24 in regards to a transfer of my venture portfolio of approximately 900 domain, 400 of which we plan to transition from Godaddy. After reviewing a substantial portion of IONOS' customer reviews, my only comment is that they are waaaaaaaaaay underestimated and are by far the best partner in a generally opaque industry. ***** was immediately attentive and most importantly objectively fair in assessing my options to move away from *******. This is important because it shows that she and the IONOS platform appreciate the value of consultation - not just sales like their larger competitor, *******. I hope this review starts a trend that improves IONOS' rating to a level commensurate to their relative competance. I am going to entrust the IONOS team with the bulk of my venture's digital assets going forward and I am confident that the relationship will continue to lead to mutually beneficial outcomes. IONOS, in our subject opinion, is one of the belllweather firms in a domain registrar oligopoly which has let us down - principally Godaddy.       If you choose to not renew they send you to collections if you don't cancel in the exact 30 day window. This is a scam because all companies give a ***** period and suspend services and its your option to renew. They are acting like I bought a car from them. I don't have services with them and I have to pay collections for a year renewal that I'm not using.
