      Ionos sent my domain to the debt collectors and gave some horrible response "sorry if you feel that way".

      Their sign up process is confusing and billing is deceptive. I signed up for their $7.35 intros for the year. I erroneously also signed up for two contracts, I cancelled those erroneous contracts the same day, then called to cancel as instructed in their emails. Now Im told Im locked in to a contracts with monthly fees of ***** or *****, beginning 10/18/25, for the very contracts I cancelled. Very deceptive practices.

      Dont have any interactions with this company. They took $35 then refunded it days later then emailed that I didnt pay them. Then took me to collections. AVOID them. Read the reviews.

      Wed like to clarify that during the order process, an authorization hold is temporarily placed on the payment method to verify available funds. Actual payment is only collected once the order is invoiced. If the payment attempt is unsuccessful, the authorization hold is automatically reversed which appears to have occurred in your case.
      Please rest assured that while unpaid balances may be forwarded to an external collection agency for follow-up, this process is internal and does not affect your credit score or credit history in any way.

      Honestly - company is trying to send me to debt collectors even though it was a $1 domain - where it's now over a large sum of money. They randomly have fees that they charge monthly - will never use them again.

      I was scammed by ******* *********** at IONOS. I was told she would be my "IONOS Personal Consultant" The whole reason I selected them is the one point of contact. I have been ambushed with invoices for services that were either paid for in advance or never ordered in the first place. **************** is outsourced to some country through a VoIP with a bad connection and the **** accent are so thick, it is very hard to understand. They started off really attentive and accommodating. So, I increased my services with them thinking this was going to work as I have over 30 domains to develop and deploy over the next several months: big mistake. Now, I'm struggling to cancel my accounts and save the domains I currently have hosted with them.

      So far the worst web hosting experience ever, I just wanted a host Domain support and their scammy system dragged me to sign up without me even noticing to hire services I dont need nor I want then for some reason I started receiving automatic chargers on my account going higher every month without my authorization. I went and cancelled all the services online and they make it really hard to do so, I called several times and they always said that I was locked in a year plan so cant cancel.., this is pure scam!!! I tried everything and they still trying to get my money. Worst service ever!! I dont think this company is legit, but is out there operating scamming people. Dont fall in this.

      This is a TERRIBLE company. I called to cancel services with them in December 2023. I was billed over and over even though my business has closed. When I called to get a refund on the previous invoices, I was not helped. I kept hearing that "everything is online" and there is an admin team but was not able to speak to any one with "authority" to give me my money back.

      I was solicited over the phone by the this company for website services. I have a domain name with them . I told the customer service *** that I had to check with the company I worked with about having a website that wasn't one of their preferred providers. We did not talk after that conversation.I noticed a charge in August for ***** on my account and called and was put on a terminal hold and asked to cancel online. The same thing happened in September I was charged again, this time I was able to talk to someone that sounded European. They said I had a contract for a year for a website, I told them I did not sign up for a website, and I did not give them permission to charge my card. I asked for a refund and also to cancel. He said I could dispute it and put information in the account. The same thing happened in September, I talked to someone in the ********** and asked her where their offices were and I was informed they are in the **. I again requested them to stop charging for a product that was not authorized.I told her that I request them to cancel the product. They have no written or verbal authorization from me for the website product. I asked to talk to a supervisor, I was not put through to anyone tshe said I had a contract and then admitted that I ***** have a written contract but had agreed to the product?????I I had to endure the gross inconvenience of canceling my bank card, and put a stop hold. I also requested for the charges to be reversed. How can you charge for a product that isn't even being used without a contract?Very poor customer service as there is no supervisor you can talk to about it. I was told I had a contract for 12 months but hadn't signed one? It feels like a scam, who would do that to someone that has a domain name product with them and now i just want to get away from the company and take the domain name elsewhere. I am in the prcess of figureing that out.

      Be careful, i bought two sites on accident and was refunded but was subcribed to other things as they say and will ve charged monthly. they are stealing my money because i cancelled 8/30/25 and they will continue to steal money for a yr, while i dont use there produts or business.
