On December 16, 2024 I contacted Concord auto protect to cancel my coverage. They told me it would take two weeks for me to receive a check.I never have received it. I have called them every three weeks even including today and still they tell me the same thing two weeks I for a supervisor and they disconnect from me. I have a feeling they're not intending on returning my money or trying to take care of this in a proper way the longer theykeep this open the more my money they take this needs to be resolved as of 1216 when I first reported that I wanted to cancelmy car warranty. Reason why I want to cancel the car warranty. I tried to use it twice and they wouldn't cover it so they are no use to me.Initial Complaint

Purchased extended auto warranty in 12/2020, paid $2100 cash upfront, contract is attached. Submitted claim on 12/2024 for damage to axel which is covered under contract we received, invoice attached from ***************** West. Numerous calls and emails to company with no response back for 2 months. When I requested to speak with manager, left VM and finally received a decline for coverage, attached email. Replied to email, with an explanation to decline as well as a relook or refund to warranty. No reply from Concord Auto Protect as of today.Initial Complaint

On December 27th I filed my one and only claim (Claim # *******) on the current auto warranty (Policy # *******) I have. The company refuses to process the claim and will not even give approval or denial for the claim. They just hang up on me or tell me the claims adjuster will get in touch "today or tomorrow" but tomorrow has come and gone daily for weeks and weeks. I have been without my car for over two months now. the company is a total scam. I paid over $1800 for the warranty, and I need work done now and they refuse to even talk with me. I maintained my car perfectly as directed in the warranty. I really hope someone can help me. This company is ripping off massive amounts of people according to the reviews.Initial Complaint

I submitted a claim for auto repair under my existing Concord Auto Protect coverage. The repair shop submitted an estimate for the repair (multiple times) as Concord had instructed. The vehicle was in the shop for over a month and Concord Adjusters never contacted the repair shop for the work authorization, despite MULTIPLE attempts/phone calls to Concord, both by the shop and myself. I finally had to pay for my repairs out of pocket to get my vehicle back. I submitted a reimbursement request to Concord for the full amount of $2127.on on 2/21/2025 and have heard nothing from the business.Initial Complaint

Company approved a small portion of a repair bill after 2 months of excuses/delays on their side. The amount approved was $1,100.46 When trying to get payment they have every excuse on why they can't pay the repair company. I ordered insurance from them on Dec 18th 2024 with the promise I could cancel anytime. After only a just over a day I decided that I did not need the insurance and so I canceled it. They responded back that that they accepted my cancellation and would refund my money in 7-10 business days. They never did refund me. I went to my credit card company and filed a dispute for the charges, but ******** would not find in my favor for this type of dispute after a couple months of trying. After some phone calls to them they said they would credit me back next week but I don't feel comfortable with them keeping that promise because I also sent them email and they didn't answer.Customer Answer

Purchased a warranty from Concord Auto Protect when I purchased a used car. Last September my car displayed a PASM failure. I took my car to a certified European automotive repair shop and said my left engine mount has failed. Concord Auto Protect tried to substitute a non dynamic engine mount for my vehicle. My car requires the dynamic engine mounts and using a standard non dynamic mount would cause cascading error codes and Check Engine Lights (CEL). My repair shop advised Concord Auto Protect that my car can only use the dynamic mounts and they can verify this information with a dealer and my vehicles VIN.Initial Complaint

I signed for an extend auto warranty with Concord Auto Protect in 2020 and I paid $2,200. usd for 5 years.. last year my car needed a repair and they only wanted to pay $200. usd I think this company is very unfair and I requested policy cancellation in May 2024 and my money back - they cancelled my policy and promised me to refund the amount of $ ****** in 10 days which until today February 19, 2025 I have not received anything. I contacted Concord every day to check the status on my refund and they always lie to me saying that **** (Maybe the owner) is not available and that they will process the refund in 10 days and nothing. All the representatives in this company are extremely rude. I left a bad review on ****** for people to be aware and not to purchase any policy with this company... all the reviews on ****** for this company are really bad and talking about the same thing that they promised a refund and nothing.I just need my money back, I work so hard to pay my stuff and this company is an scam.Initial Complaint

I purchased an extended car warranty from this company. July 16th 2024,because my car did not have any warranty through the manufacturer, and I was worried about lost income for unable to get to work. The policy went into effect in August. 16th 2024, and I had been driving my truck since then putting over 1000 miles on the vehicle, until November when I brought it in to the dealership, because the transmissioned went out.They told me I needed service records for my transmission, which I provided and the transmission was serviced. Almost a year prior in September of 2023,after I provided them the documentation on the transmission. They then went on to say. I needed more documentation of service records for the oil changes, which have nothing to do with the transmission. But I did provide them with a receipt. From July 2024, when I purchased my oil, because I had changed the oil myself in my truck, they have now continued to give me the runaround. They will not answer their phone. They keep putting me on hold,and they will not return my calls. And they take days to return my emails.Initial Complaint

I purchase an auto extended warranty with Concord Auto Protection and have filed 2 issues both of which were declined. The first claim involved an electric motor that controlled a radiator dampener. The second was a leaking seal. Both should have been covered per the contract since it covered electrical and mechanical failures;
