This process is taking an abnormally long time. The vehicle arrived at my Auto Repair facility on 06/07/2024. The first contact with Concord Auto Protect took place on 06/10/2024. All photos and estimates requested were sent. It took 11 days for an inspector to come and perform their inspection. It has been 5 days since the inspector performed this inspection. Again we are requesting an update on the claim status. The inspector was here on Wednesday of last week 06/19/2024. On another follow up call I was informed that we would have updated information on Friday of last week 06/21/2024.Initial Complaint

Complaint Regarding Unresolved Warranty Claim # ******* Concord Auto Protect has gone cold turkey, doesn't cover claims, doesn't respond to calls or emails.....Four months ago, on 2/27/2024 (claim # *******), I filed a claim with over ****** miles and 8 months left on the warranty. Despite providing estimates from an independent mechanic and an inspection requested by Concords adjuster, there has been no response. I have furnished all requested pictures and evaluations for your decision making. Multiple calls and emails, and hours on the phone with them have yielded nothing, only empty promises of 1-2 day responses which never come, and zero action or resolution of any kind has occurred over the last 4 months. Concord tends to play for time, and is trying to run the clock out on the policy, after obviously having reaped the benefit of tricking me (and others like me) into purchasing their coverage. This should be a warning to other unsuspecting buyers of their policy, that they will not even bother processing calls, much less taking care of your future claims. Let the bad experience of users like me be a warning not to get duped by Concord's unscrupulous business practices.This also serves as my last attempt to get the matter resolved before having to resort to legal action.Initial Complaint

I have purchased a *************** Program (extended warranty) from Concord Auto Protect for my 2023 Mini ****** Clubman for $1808.00. The policy start date was 10/31/2022. I have decided to cancel my policy on 4/1/2024. Concord has agreed to refund $1008.00. I have not been receiving a fund since. I have called to ask about my refund status 8 times to date (6/24/24). Their operators are trained to provide standard "non answer" answer. They gave me date after date about when I will received my refund, but nothing came. Then they changed their answer to "we will move up your refund in the que". No real firm date given anymore and I don't what I can do to get my money back?Initial Complaint

We filed a claim with our extended auto warranty company, Concord Auto Protectfor, to repair our 2014 ******* MKT through ********** ******* service advisor *************** on June 5 2024. The repair facility and I received a request via email on June 10 at 1:38 PM, for more information about the vehicle from ***********************, Concord Auto Protect claims adjuster. ****************** requested vehicle service records and pictures of the vehicle. I supplied eleven pages of service records via PDF attachments to an email sent to ****************** at 5:30 PM CDT June 10, 2024. ***************, service advisor supplied the pictures of the vehicle. ****************** acknowleged receipt of my email at 6:30 PM June 10, 2024.As of today, June 21, 2024 we have yet to receive any decision on the claim. Between *************** and myself, we must have called or emailed Concord Auto Protect dozens of times trying to get an answer to our claim. Constant promises by Concord employees but no results. This is beyond ridiculous. We have had our extended warranty with Concord Auto Protect for four years and there are two remaining years to go. During that time we have filed one small claim in the first year with Concord. After all of this run around and obvious stalling by Concord to pay for the claim I checked their record on BBB only to see a F rating and 95 customer complaints re:claims issues. On January 9, 2024 I cancelled an extended warranty policy with this company because they failed to pay a claim. I was guaranteed a refund of $1521.00 within 5 weeks. After repeated calls and promises of payment, I still have no refund.Initial Complaint

They welched on paying out my car warranty. They didn't even send a adjuster to check out my car to see if it qualifies coverage. They've agreed again and again that i'm due the money, they just make false promises for that payout.Initial Complaint

In June/July 2023, I was shopping for a vehicle and contacted Concord about different vehicles I was looking at, to ensure that they met the extended warranty coverage qualifications. I already have one vehicle covered by them and it has been great. I asked for the same extended warranty to be applied for the vehicles I was looking at. I ended up purchasing the extended warranty before purchasing the vehicle, upon their recommendation. They said I have 30 days to get a refund in event I changed my mind about what vehicle to purchase, ect. Fast forward to February 2024, I took the vehicle into the shop for a few issues to be looked at. After the dealership submitted the claim, Concord denied the claims, saying that my policy didnt cover those things. Then, after multiple phone calls to them, I learn that they didnt give me the sane policy that I have on my other vehicle and its a lower policy with less coverages. I wouldnt have purchased the extended coverage plan if I had known that it wasnt going to cover major items, especially since I hadnt even looked at the vehicle yet although the salesperson assured me that it was a good idea to purchase it before buying the vehicle. The reassurance I was getting from the salesperson is why I went ahead and purchased the vehicle before seeing it and/or having it inspected. Upon calling them since then, they have said theyll see if they can honor the claim anyhow after *** explained my position. I have not been able to get in contact with them since, I get their voicemails without any responses. I would like for them to honor the claim AND issue my vehicle the plan that I asked for. I trusted them to know which plan I wanted since it is the one I have on my other vehicle and they ended up assigning me to a more basic policy.Initial Complaint

I purchased an extended warranty for a 2017 Buick purchased in 2018 for $1500 from Concord auto protect. I sold the vehicle in March 2024 and sent to Concord and odometer reading verified by the buying dealership. I called Concord auto Tech and asked them about any unused premium that I was entitled to and the phone representative told me that since there had been no claims and because there were so many months and miles left on the warranty that I was entitled to eight $600 rebate. Multiple calls to Concord auto protect have resulted in the same story that a check will be mailed in a week. Initially, I asked where they were going to send the check and realized that when I purchased the product, I lived in a different location so I verified my new mailing address for their accounting department to mail me a check. This has been going on since the end of March. Frankly, I was surprised when they told me that I was entitled to $600 of my $1500 back, but was looking forward to getting that refunded and hitting a brick wall. I contacted the Pennsylvania ************************ and filed a complaint there and they suggested that I could file a complaint with you. I paid $1500 for a service contract for my vehicle. The policy had a 1000 mile waiting period before coverage started. After meeting the waiting period, I had a covered component failure resulting in the need for repairs of $5000. I took to a shop and a claim was submitted. They denied the claim calling it a pre-existing condition. They stated that since I was only 80 miles into my coverage period, after 1000 mile waiting period, it had to be pre-existing. After contacting the adjuster via email and calling to follow-up on, I have heard no response. As I told them, parts fail when they fail, even on brand new cars and by their determination every failure could be deemed pre-existing. They claim to cover but it appears to be no more than deceitful advertising and failure to meet their obligations when due.
