I purchased an extended warranty with the company in 2021. In August 2024 i submitted a claim for a service was should be covered under my warranty. The company asked for documentation and photos which were turned in and an inspection which has also been conducted. Now the adjuster has been telling me everyday for the past two weeks my claim is being finalized with no update he does not respond to emails or calls and their upper management is non responsive. I was again told today that the claim was finalized by the end of business today and still have not received a response.Initial Complaint

Bought extended warranty in May 2020 for 5 years for $2950 Cancelled on June 19th 2024 - was told that the refund would be $271.68 Since then and today (30th sept) I have called over 50 times and they are not paying the refund and giving me the runaround.I have sent emails and left voice memos for the manager (******* *******) to pay and every time I call I am told that I will be paid next day , next hour next week etc ..I am running out of option to get the money they owe me legally.Can you help me?Initial Complaint

Purchased an auto protection plan from Concord Auto protect over a year ago and filed a claim on 8-01-2024 for brake repairs. Concord approved the calipers and labor but still have not reimbursed me for the two rear calipers and labor costs. I was forced to pay the mechanic on 8-18-2024 so I could get my car back as I lost 4 days of work waiting on Concord. The two calipers cost $380 and labor is another $240. I have sent over 15 emails and 7-8 phone calls and only once did someone respond. A ******* ******* (who is listed as an account specialist) sent me an email on Friday, 9-13-2024 apologizing for the delay and promised reimbursement the following week. It is now 9-30-2024 and still no reimbursement and no response from emails and call.Initial Complaint

I purchased this car warranty on 07/16/2024. The wait period was 30 days as told by the representative. My effective date as per contract is 08/16/2024. I hardly drive this car, but I noticed few days ago some cranking noise with ABS malfunction light coming off. I contacted the warranty company; they said it is not approved because it is no 30 days. When I showed them, the effective date is 08/16/2024, they said you need additional ***** miles driven. When I asked them where in the contract it says, they said it is common sense. Then they changed the perspective. They said your contact says is different miles to qualify. My original signed contract states effective mileage to be ****** (attached). After the fact, they emailed me 2 days ago same contract with a different mileage ****** with no signature. I asked them why new contract; they said this is after you sent the odometer reading picture. My car has been with the mechanic since 9/9/24. After supplying Concord with all the things they requested they still have not said what repairs they will cover. This is the 2nd time I have had this issue with Concord. You can only contact the adjuster through email. If they contact the mechanic and there is a miscommunication through that email they just keep sending the same email. When I call, their staff tells me the adjuster sent or will send something to the mechanic. Then I find out from the shop the adjuster hasn't sent anything. Today, I was told "there are a lot of repair requests in Que and they will send another email to the adjuster". The mechanic emailed and called Concord Auto Protect several times and I emailed 2x in addition to numerous calls and messages. The problem: Concord is not responsive, not honest and will not honor the warranty I paid for upfront and in full. I want them to provide the shop with the covered repairs, the amount they will pay the shop to do the work, the amount they will pay for the parts and to make the payment for said items and work. My 2019 ***** Silverado ************************************************************** ********* ****** since July 1st for a transmission issue. It took the dealership about 3 weeks to diagnose the issue and then file a claim with my automobile extended warranty company, Concord Auto Protect, that I purchased on 11/09/2023.On August 2nd, 2024 both **** ****** with ******* ***** and myself received an email from **** ******* with Concord Auto Protect requesting more information about the vehicle, condition of oil, transmission fluid, data sheet available, diagnostic procedure, etc..... We responded to all of his questions on 8/8/24. On 8/13/2024 **** then asked for more photographs and all service records for this vehicle. On 8/16/24 we responded with the photos and all service records/reports/documents that I have on my vehicle. I don't have many records since I just purchased my vehicle used from ******* ***** dealership in May 2022. This is when we lose communication with ****. **** ****** and myself make multiple attempts to reach out to **** via email asking if he needs any further information to get the claim approved. We get no response.On September 10th I tried to go above **** and ask to speak to a regional manager. I got forwarded to ******* ********* voicemail. I attempted to contact ******* 2 more times on Sep. 12th and the 17th. and left a voicemail both times. **** calls September 18th at ***** AM trying to reach out to **** and at ***** AM trying to contact ******* *******. We still haven't heard back from Concord Auto Protect. They haven't denied or approved my claim and I have been without my vehicle for 3 months now. Please help!Initial Complaint

I purchased a policy on 5/10/2023 on 6/24/2024 (over a full year after purchase and still within my 4 years of coverage) I initiated a claim. It has now been a nightmare 93 days working with this company. My repair facility is finally losing their patience in the matter and have been requesting payment for the APPROVED claim since 9/16/2024 I have made countless calls and get put through the same run around with the most recent call made today 9/25 telling me that now, against their own policy and processes it is now my shops responsibility to call them next Monday bringing us near 100 days since the claim was initiated for them to pay the shop by CREDIT CARD. I told them that's not how the process was outlined by their manager and told them payment needs to be made immediately before the shop seeks legal assistance in the matter. The company is very clearly a scam ring and I wish I could just get a full refund from them.Customer Answer

- I purchased three extended warranty contracts from Concord Auto Protect over the last 12 months. - I never made a claim against any of the warranties.- I decided to cancel all three agreements on 7/19/24 as I am not driving the vehicles often; I was told by the Concord agent that I would receive a prorated refund of $5400 for the three contracts in the next 30 days.- I have called 4 times following the 30 day period was over to check the status of the refund. I am always told management is working down the list to process the refund and it should be done by the end of the month.- During the last two calls, I asked to escalate and the agent transferred me to **************************************. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Concord Auto Protect regarding an unresolved refund for my canceled policy (#*******).I originally canceled this policy in writing via registered mail in December 2023, but I received no confirmation of delivery. I then canceled the policy over the phone on February 28, 2024. I had paid $2,175 for the policy, and Concord agreed to issue a prorated refund of $1,084.60, which I accepted.Since that time, I have made numerous follow-up attempts by phone on April 15, May 21, June 18, July 10, August 5, August 20, September 3, and September 12, and by email to ******* ******* on September 19, 2024. Despite being repeatedly assured by their customer service representatives that the refund would be processed promptly via mail or Zelle, I have yet to receive the agreed-upon amount.I find the handling of this situation deeply unsatisfactory, and it appears as though the refund process is being unjustly delayed. I am concerned that I may not receive my refund at all, despite Concord Auto Protect's promises.This ongoing issue has caused me significant frustration and inconvenience. I trust the Better Business Bureau will assist me in getting this matter resolved as soon as possible.
