Purchased an extended car protection plan for Concord Protect on 9/13/23 and canceled after purchasing a new can on Feb 6th, 2024. They'd stated I'd have a refund of $1084.60 returned to my account. I've called and talked to them more than several time and they keep saying the money will be coming. I get the same line every time i call and now they just hang up when i start asking questions. My VSP agreement number is *******. The last told me payment was going to be made Nov 8th which has come and gone. They also told me to get Zelle for payment which i did, but it's not been resolved. Hoping you can help resolve as its a lot of money to me.Initial Complaint

Please note that on 07/30/ 2023 I purchased an Extended Warranty from Concord Sales for $2530 from a representative and I was miss informed and miss lead to believe on how the warranty was going to work. When I received the contract details I read over it, I called Concord to address my concerns and was advice that all would be taken care of despite my concerns, and I was under the impression that all would be ok. I found this to be a very bad mistake on my part, because everything that I was told did NOT happen. I have made 3 claims in which $159.73 (Claim No. *******) has only been paid to me, therefore costing me several thousand dollars and time not to mention many phone calls to Concord. The Concord representatives would either put me on hold for a very long time, hang up, or send me voice mail.Claim No. *******: I called into Concord on 09/12/2024 to make a claim over the phone and I had to call again on 10/01/2024, because the original call was not noted and I was advised to have the car repaired ********** Automotive -ASE Certified Masters), which I did. I called and emailed Concord pertaining to this, and I kept getting the run around with the excuse that the systme was down and they were busy, until 11/14/2024 when I finally received an email from **** ******* DECLINING my claim. This was after many attempts to communicate with him. Claim No. *******: I took my car into ***** Dealer on 10/12/2024 to have them look at my car door lock, and this time I had the dealership call to Concord to avoid the same mistake from my previous claim, where Concord dropped the ball on my claim. After several weeks of my car being at the ***** dealership (I called and emailed Concord many times) Concord finally responded with an unreasonable response, which made no sense to the repair shop. I picked up my car from the dealership on 11/7/2024 incurring additional costs for the time my car was sitting there at the repair shop.Initial Complaint

I bought what I thought was a bumper-to-bumper car warrantee on 2/3/21 form the above listed company. I have had a few problems with my vehicle and every time I put in a claim, they do not call my garage back, they give them the runaround or tell them the item is not covered. I now read many reviews other people have given them and they are complaining about the same thing. Nothing is covered and they will not return calls to the customers or garage, either by email or over the phone. They told me that this was going to be an easy process for claims. Clearly this is not true, and this company is a scam. They are very rude over the phone as well.Initial Complaint

I canceled policy on July 9, 2024 and was informed via email that I'd receive prorated refund, though amount not disclosed in email, within 7 to 10 business days. The representative who canceled policy explained my refund was slightly over $1100. I've called several times since and each time I'm told that they haven't submitted refund but plan to. I question them further explaining the repeated responses are never upheld and still haven't received refund. I canceled policy because each time I tried to use plan, the claim was either denied or a hassle for the service facility to use.Initial Complaint

Dear Madam/Sir:The letter that I filed with Cocord Auto Protect, LLC on Oct. 28, 2024 is as follows:"To Whom It May Concern:I cancelled the Concord extended warranty protection on my 2018 ********* Colorado on June 23, 2024 due to the pickup being wrecked and totaled in an automobile accident. I requested a refund of the balance to my ******* date, I have not received the refund of $750+ even after making numerous calls every month to request payment. Every time that I've called, the associate has told me that I am in their que to be paid and that it would be that day or the next that my bank would receive those funds via Zelle. If this is not paid immediately, my only resort is to refer this fiscal malfeasance to the Better Business Bureau as well to your State Attorney General. I am setting an arbitrary date of November 1, 2024 to proceed with this notification unless those funds are sent to my bank via ******************************** in ********, ** is my bank and the Zelle account is **********."I have dealt with other similar companies in the past, but I have never had a company lie to me and apparently refuse to reimburse me for a cancelled contract.I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this situation.Sincerely,******** D. ******* *************************************** (*************Initial Complaint

October 23, 2024 is when the transaction was processed. I submitted a request for a refund, called the company, and was told to email them, and have yet to hear back. The window for a refund is 30 days. The company is Concord Auto Protect, and I paid them a total of $300.00. I want my money back in full, and would like a response from them regarding this matter. It is as if they are ignoring me. I even emailed the representative on October 28 that I spoke to directly, and have yet to hear anything from the representative either.Initial Complaint

My extended auto warranty approved for repairs to be done at the ******** ***** dealership so the dealership started working on my car. When the repairs on the car were done the ******** dealership tried to get the payment for the repairs from concord auto protect for 3 weeks. After that ******** told me that they would no longer do business with concord auto protect and would not release the car until the repairs were paid for and they were going to start charging me 50 a day for storage so I paid ******** for the repairs to get my car back and I've been waiting on a reimbursement from concord auto protect for the amount of $1740.03 since juneInitial Complaint

In 2021, I paid $2500 for a 3 year warranty on my 2015 ******. Never used it until this month (2024) because my rear differential is out. I took it to ********* Jaguar in ******, *** a dealership that has been around for 50+ years, and they contacted Concord over and over and never got an okay to fix my car. It has been three weeks of stalling, and they still will not pay. Sadly, I found out that the Philadelphia Attorney General (their home office is in ******) had filed a lawsuit against them for their practices. Every time I called Concord, I was either hung up on or told that I would get a decision that afternoon (10 calls). Never got a reply. This company is a complete scam DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. If you have a serious problem, they will not pay. Many other bad reviews on various websites. Don't be misled by their salespeople who promise you the world until they get your money, and you need their services. I would rate them a big fat zero, but the scale only goes as low as 1. I am not giving up. I am going to file a small-claims suit against them myself. Remember, the only really good warranty comes from a reputable dealership. I would not buy again from any of these 3rd party companies. You have no way of knowing if they will pay. In addition, they use an arbitration scam to make sure you can't use an attorney to come after them. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!Second Review10-19-24 Still no word from Concord Auto Protect on the review I posted earlier. This is the worst company imaginable. They not only don't honor a warranty claim, but they will not even communicate whether they are covering it or not. They hang up on you, put you off, or promise a decision later in the afternoon (They did this to me at least 10 times) and you never hear anything back. The Attorney General on Philadelphia has a lawsuit going against them. If you have been victimized, please file a complaint and become part of the lawsuit.Initial Complaint
