Pay range controls the washers and dryers in our apt complex. I just moved in & did not know how they worked. I put in $2 into dryer 16 at 4:20p and it didnt start. I thought it wasnt connecting with my wifi so I did it again. It started but I noticed it charged me $4. Then I put another load in dryer 19. Same thing. I added $2 at 4:22,459, 459, 5, 5, 501, 501, 502, & 502. My apt mgt said I had to message them which I didsix times. No response! They owe me $18 which is obvious by the time recordableBusiness Response

I am thoroughly confused. I previously emailed this company 6 TIMES and now they're saying they'll credit my account if I email them at the same address again? They didn't credit before and they didn't respond to the BBB requests. Cover have to play this game all over? They have my card number...they owe me the money..and now we're back to stage one???Customer Answer

Please tell me what's going on. I responded to you saying their response was not acceptable because I've already emailed them 6x at that email. They can see my statement....they can credit my account for $26.. Easy & it will be done !Business Response

PayRange does not allow me to get refund. Their software states that I don’t have an email account, but I do. It’s listed in my profile. They only provide default response, “Please repeat your question”Initial Complaint

I live in an apartment building with laundry machines serviced by Hainsworth. Ever since they integrated PayRange for paying to do laundry, they have no way to adequately reimburse people for broken or malfunctioning machines. Hainsworth has said that I need to contact PayRange, but support at PayRange says I need to contact Hainsworth. When I am given coupon codes to be reimbursed by Hainsworth, through PayRange, they don't work. I estimate that I have been ripped off between $20 and $40 by this neglect, since Hainsworth rarely actually fixes their machines.Initial Complaint

I was forced to use the PayRange app for the laundry room at my apartment complex. It glitches so bad. Will not turn the machines on but takes my money anyway. I’ve called and spoken with customer service and they are useless. One guy from Colorado was absolutely rude to me…I needed a credit to my account and he was screaming at me over it. Telling me I was dumb and that he wanted to speak to a man and not a woman who can’t figure out an app. I put my husband on the phone ( who’s a computer programmer) and the conversation wasn’t very pleasant for the rep. I had to be refunded by my bank because of the app glitching. Now, I’ve asked them repeatedly to delete my account and they won’t because my account is negative . I don’t care. It wouldn’t be if you guys would fix the bugs. I don’t want my information at the hands of these people!Initial Complaint

On July 8th, I put $10.00 on my Pay Range account. I used some of that balance, but not all of it. On July 15th, I put $20.00 more on my Pay Range account. I used $2.00 of that balance. While my laundry was washing, my new phone came in. I picked it up and activated it. I have the same phone number. I use only one email. Also, because I don't easily trust apps for funds, I likely put the money on as a guest. I believed the amount would transfer over. When I got the clothing in the dryer, my balance was zero. I had $24.25 on that account. I have contacted PayRange. They claim to not be able to find the transactions on that phone number or email. I can see from the reports I am not alone in Pay Range losing our balances. I would like the balance of $24.25 refunded. If there is any lawsuit from enough claims, I am 100% willing to provide this information and any further information needed. Please help me obtain this refund.Initial Complaint

I loaded the pre-paid balance to PayRange in order to get laundry service in my apartment. However, in July, my apartment suddenly stopped to use PayRange any longer, but I still have $7.15 balance remained in my PayRange account. I called ******************** to get my balance refunded. However, they used the 90-day policy to refuse my request. I think this 90-day policy is ridiculous, because the prepaid and unused balance should not be restricted with a refund time-limit. That my money. What I only do is to put it in my account. I have the right to get it at anytime. I think PayRange should give my money back. ******** company.Business Response

I am being charged by this app for $1.75 for each machine. The price on the washing machine and dryer is $1.50. I have complained and been in contact with this company about it and they are now not responding. I'm owed money on my account right now, and will continue to be owed money and they are refusing to refund me. They have nothing about the problem and I first reported it in April of this year. As of right now I'm owed $3.75. Then every single time I use the machines I will need to be refunded $.25 How they go about doing this, I don't care...but I'm am being overcharged by this company and they are refusing to do anything about it.Business Response

Hi *******,
Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear about the troubles you've been having! One of our Team Leads reached out to you via our support channels at the time of your complaint.
Unfortunately we don't control the pricing on the machines and if there's a difference between what the machine has versus what it is on our app, the owner of the machine needs to update that. As per our communication with you, we have informed the owner of the machine of the issue and they have told us that they will reach out to you.
Please reach out to us at ****************************** should you need more assistance on this matter and we'd be happy to assist.

I moved into a condo September 2022, I added $25 on to my payrange account to do laundry. I only used the washing machine once and now my complex switched to a different vendor. I now have $24 on my account and have no way to use the funds. I emailed customer support for a refund but they said the funds were loaded longer than their 90 day refund policy.Business Response
