      OMG! This has to be on the border of legalized theft! As the other reviews indicate, the product you receive, if you even receive it, will not even come close to the description. This is a classic example of you get what you pay for. In this case, the lower prices are actually not even low enough for the crummy quality and disappointment you will have with any product you order from these people. It's basically a scam! Oh, and did I mention that you cannot return or get a refund for anything! They even go so far is to recommend you not return anything and accept store credits for more terrible quality items that don't match the description at all. I can't warn you enough to not do business with Light in the Box

      Below is a response I received from Light In The Box when I ordered 4 dresses, this is the first time I ever ordered from this company. I ordered these dresses after using the Light In The Box size chart. I was asked to send pics of each dress's measurement, which I did. *****'s were not the size stated on their chart!! 3 1/2"-4" difference in bust area. Their response..."Sorry to hear that the product does not fit while you ordered according to our size chart. No worries, we'll take care of this issue and provide you with 100% satisfaction service. Please note that we'll cover the return postage if we confirm that we made the product in the wrong size. So we need your cooperation to provide us some information for the "size confirmation procedure". Meanwhile, we also offer Quick Solution if you don't want to go through the above "size confirmation procedure":Quick Solution : No need to return, keep the item with a Reward or a partial refund . Just do an "easy click" on the options link you want , and you don't need to reply, we'll issue it for you in 1 business day. A. Keep the item with a 50% reward. (eg.       This company overcharged me for a cheap sofa cover and gave me the run around when I wanted to return it. I am attaching the last e-mail I received after I sent them the requested pictures of the "product" and they agreed to refund me my purchase price and pay return postage. In this e-mail they now they need to "inspect the product" to give me a refund/send (pics were not enough, I guess). They also had agreed to pay return postage for the current product but now I need to front that too. I do not recommend anyone buy from this place. The one-star rating is generous and as far as I'm concerned, I was scammed.Dear Customer,Thank you for your response. We are dedicated to resolving the issue to your satisfaction and providing you with a convenient and efficient resolution.If you choose to return the item for a refund or exchange, please note that it may take approximately 2-4 weeks for the return process.       The company did come through with a ""one time" refund of $34.02 of the ***** I paid, and all but 3 cents of the "foreign transaction fee" charged by either them or my bank was returned. In addition, I was not required to send back the defective product, so I am satisfied and have learned my ******* I do encourage others to be careful to fully vet any website before buying. If I had taken the time to read BBB reviews, I would have not had to go through the headache of dealing with this issue to begin with.

      Ordered several shirt a kids shirt and a dress for my wife. Package never showed up. Started investigation with **** and they stated that the package was lost. I keep getting an automated response or one that addresses the lesser issues without addressing the true problem. No offer to refund money seeing I have not received the product. If a company cannot auusre that the product gets to its destination nor offer a full refund then they should be blocked from selling in the U.S. I am not happy with how things have transpired. I will not buy any more product from them.

      I wish I had read some reviews before purchasing from Light in the Box. The shirt I received barely resembled the one in the ad. It was hideous and cheaply made in ***** (but with a US address). So they found a way around that. They wouldn't refund my shipping or pay for return shipping. What I got for my trouble was a 60 cent credit on my account towards my next purchase. Like I'm gonna fall for THAT again!

      SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Spent $85 on 2 bathing suits which took forever to arrive from *****. They advertise "Easy Return" but don't say one must SHIP THE RETURN ALL THE WAY TO *******, ***** for a full refund AT THE CUSTOMER'S EXPENSE. Stupidly, I spent the $36 Cdn to return it. That was May 9, 2023. It is now July 01, 2023 and have heard NOTHING - no reply to the "Ticket" I applied for and no credit to my PayPal and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE (their 'Complaint' page doesn't function, computer mouse just hovers over nothing).My bad for not investigating this bogus company. Emails I got from them are "(Auto Translated to English)" and who the h*ll knows what they're saying in English. Not me!

      I ordered two dresses according to the size they stated on their website, this is not a custom-made dress, but since the measurements on their side sound right, I ordered them. Well, I knew it was wrong the minute I put them on. The built-in bra is almost 2 inches higher than my chest; the dresses look grumpy. I contacted them for the return immediately, on the same day I received the dress, they sent me an instruction asking me to take the measurements and send them back to them first, WHAT? they made the dress; don't they know the measurements? I will not spend the money to buy a tape measurement, even if I send them the measurement, they will deny what they did wrong anyway, there go almost $200, I am so angry. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS THIEF.

      Light in the Box has terrible return service. There's a good chance you will get a product similar to what they show on their website, but with different materials, different colors or poor/defective stitching. It's not what you paid for. What you see on clothing sites here in the US, is what you get when you receive it. They refuse to pay for the return and want to offer a 50% refund to keep item. If you refuse credit, they will refuse to give you a return slip and want you to send back to some address in ***** that cost almost as much as the items you need to return. They charged me less that $20 in shipping. **** charges more than $80 to send it back to them. That's game they are running.
