  Worst company we ever dealt with - we signed a contract for a sun room in November of 2021 but was not completed until July of 2022. We had numerous issues during all phases of this project. Work crews using our back yard for their personal ash tray. Crews showing up for a couple of hours and not seen again for days. We had to constantly reach out to GDI to get a time frame on crew return. Poor quality workmanship / short cuts that took repeated returns to correct those issues. House damage that had to be repaired. I the customer had to develop the project punch list. We the customer had to deal directly with the subcontractor and the county (building permit) since GDI stated it made sense for us and not them. Packing material and project debris left in our yard for weeks. Poor to no cleanup that required us to spend hours picking up after the crews left. Supervisors / Project managers making promises that were not kept. Emails and letters that went unanswered. As a project manager myself I understand that there are elements out of their control, like delivery of materials but after a while answers to our questions just became rehearsed excuses. My last conversation with a manager was apology after apology, he asked how much we still owed and stated that he would see about reducing the amount due to the issues we experienced and would be back in touch. We never heard from him nor did we receive any feedback from a letter we sent to Corp HQ. Months later we receive an email - our ONLY communication - threatening liens if we didnt pay our balance. We made the mistake of doing business with GDI, please dont make the same mistake. Of note, the electrician(s) were extremely polite and very professional. They kept us constantly updated on their work - even after work hours. GDI should take notes.

  We are so sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with the service you received. Many things have impacted our company over the past few years including staff shortages. This is no excuse, but we have seen some delays and miscommunications due to this issue. We are currently working to get all of our locations staffed and trained to maximum capacity so we may best serve all of our customers. Our records indicate there was one problem with a handrail that was addressed on 9/22/22 and we are unaware of any other issues.   Yes, on or about 9/22/22 a third party did install the required brackets that were left off on the step handrails. During that same time frame the railing on the deck that was installed haphazardly was corrected. House siding that was damaged during install was also corrected and some needed cosmetic issues were addressed. If you wish to update your records please see the letter that was hand delivered to your field supv (as well as provided to your HQ) that consisted of two pages of workmanship and overall project issues.

  I am really relieved and happy about the entire job. I was at first was wanting to back out because I did see bad reviews on the BBB site. One positive thing I noticed was that the company responded to each and everyone to workout a satisfaction. And the responses were reasonable. However, both the Regional Sales Manager, ******, and the Installations manager, Faith, assured me that all would be ok and provided their direct contact information. ****** mentioned that they purposely leave all reviews up and do not take them down so as to be transparent. He went on to say that they want to make sure the customer is happy. I have had bad experiences with contractors, as I am sure we all have had, but I must say, this whole process went off perfectly. After they measured, the sections took a month to make in ****. Once they arrived in ******, I was contacted by ***** and within two days, the enclosure was complete. I did require financing and that was very easy as well. The only snag was that the dog door was installed to low. However, they came back out the following day, after the job was completed and they had taken the final payment, it replace the panel with a new one and recut the dog door to the correct height. I cannot say enough how happy I was with the process and the quality of the product!! Great job!!

  From initial consult and design, to completed 3 season room, I am extremely satisfied with all aspects of the addition. The contractor assigned by Patio Enclosure to build it was professional, punctual and did a perfect job. I wouldn't hesitate to use either again.

  We were very excited for this project from the sales pitch and agreed to proceed. We got off to a bad start, Unfortunately, the salesman assumed we were going to buy lumber & do some of the work ourselves, without telling us. He became rude, combative and disrespectful. We decided to back out of the whole deal. Then we received a phone call from another representative where we discussed our issues with the installation process and came to a compromise. We supplied the **************** did the labor. The man that did the actual installation was awesome. He was organized, clean, respectful and did a fabulous job. While we waited for the door to come in (we knew of the delay) everything else was installed quickly and looks really good. Our biggest complaints are that sales rep misrepresented the windows. He told us the windows would be tinted that you could not see inside. We insisted that was what we wanted. That is not what we got. Also, there is water coming in from under the walls when it rains hard. After all is done the project does look beautiful but we should have questioned things more. We also have to come up with some way to keep the water out.

  This experience was a total nightmare - we were originally told the project would take 3 to 4 weeks to complete and seven plus months later there are still some unresolved issues even though they were paid in full because they were threatening liens, etc. There were issues from the beginning - design flaws that took weeks to resolve - workers showing up for a day or two and not seen again for weeks...attempts to short-cut work...work that had to be re-done because of short-cutting -the product quality is not what is was portrayed to be and definitely not worth the cost,,,poor clean-up ....and many other numberous issues. For the cost of the project - we absolutley did not receive either the value or the service one would expect. We have built 3 homes over the years and worked with many contractors and this was the worst experience. Would NOT recommend spending your hard earned money with this Company.

  I had a great experience with my sunroom project with Patio Enclosures in ******, **. At every step of the project from the initial consultation and design review to the installation day(s), the team at Great Day Improvements was very responsive and helpful. Compared to the other bids I received for the project, I believe the pricing was fair and competitive; and the company provides excellent financing options. Faith (the local project coordinator) was in contact with me throughout the process and helped with some of the steps such as securing the necessary approvals, and assigned one of the best local installation teams to our project. The installation team was very professional and hardworking, and they immediately addressed the few issues I noticed during the construction work. Overall, I am very happy with the project and the service I got from Great Day Improvements - they clearly have been doing this for a long time and perfected the process. Highly recommended for your patio enclosure and sunroom projects.

  Sad totally pathetic, I spent $25,000 on a totally waste of a 3 season room.Totally a waste of my money.They did send people over to try to correct the situation, but to no avail. I purchased their Patio Enclosers product for a 3 season room. I have heat inside the room and a ceiling fan blowing for circulation to stop condensation nothing is stopping it. I also purchased double pane glass for more warmth in the room but all the metal frames are frozen with ice .There is no reason for this other than poor quality of the windows or the installation. I have pictures and a thermometer to prove my point.

  Excellent results on the installation of our patio enclosure. It looks great and we plan to use it like a small green house to keep any tropical plants green and growing during the winter months. The installation was done in one day by *** and I was really impressed with his organizational skills as he reviewed the diagrams on the enclosure first and then verified with us how everything would be installed. His experience in organizing the materials and making sure any and all parts were laid out according to the installation. There was no wasted time and his craftsmanship really impressed me. Upon completion, he instructed us on the locking mechanism for the windows and doors. He then proceeded to sweep the area and remove any pieces of construction materials left over. I would highly recommend his work to anyone interested in a new patio enclosure.***, thanks for your fine work ethic with attention to detail and to Patio Enclosures for their great communication from the sales and office staff.*********************

  This project took a bit longer than expected. but for reasons out of their control. The contractors were friendly and knowledgeable, as well as hard working. The project manager provided updates almost daily. The end result? An amazing 3 season room to enjoy. Im very pleased with it. Thank you Patio Enclosures
