I have a bi weekly payment schedule set up with check n go. I missed some payments and now they are attempting to withdraw a payment every Friday and monday. I have had payments come out the last 2 Fridays 3/15(not a scheduled or approved payment) and 3/22. The following mondays of those payment withdrawals by check n go were attempts to withdrawal another full payment. So now i have had 2 weeks of non sufficient funds charged to my account. 2 full payments attempts in one week will leave me with no income to live. Non sufficient funds for no reason threatens that very same thing. 4 charges for non sufficient funds at $25 each equaling $200. I want that refunded as well as the contract readjusted. I tried to adjust the payment schedule when i changed jobs by they wouldn’t let me. The payment dates would have created a missed payment from changing jobs. It did just that, I communicated this to astore employee and they put it in the notes. Before i was a new customer they would not allow me to adjust my payment dates. I only wanted it adjusted by one week. Since then i have missed payments because they refused to work with me. Then they decide to try to take payments out every Friday and Monday. I can’t afford to keep having non sufficient funds fees for withdrawals that are not on scheduled/approved Fridays and unapproved/not scheduled any other daysBusiness Response

We would like to thank
Mr. ***** for contacting Check ‘n Go regarding his concerns associated with terms of his loan agreement. We completed an investigation into the matter and can confirm that Mr. ***** obtained a retail installment loan on 12/7/2023 in the amount of $2195.00. Our records indicate that installment payments #5 and #6 were returned by his bank for insufficient funds, and those payments were re-presented to Mr. ******* bank account a second time- however those attempts were unsuccessful. Whenever a payment is returned for insufficient funds, we reserve the right to re-present those payments in an attempt to collect the past due amount, and prevent the customer's account from falling further into delinquency. This process was explained in detail within the Loan Agreement Mr. ***** signed prior to accepting the loan. We respectfully decline to compensate Mr. ***** for re-presenting returned payments. We would also like to advise Mr. ***** that we are unable to change payment frequency or due dates associated with open installment loans. This is a matter of corporate policy. We would encourage him to contact our ******** Wisconsin branch at ***** ******** to discuss any potential payment options that might be available to him at this time.

1. They will not allow me to make weekly payments to avoid the high daily interest rates.
2. High daily interest rates. I received a loan for $1,200, Have paid over $500 (early) and I still owe over $1,000.

I made a monthly agreement to pay back a payday loan to Check N Go in $75.00 installments. I called them on 03/25/24 to make my monthly payment of $75.00. The representative Marlin B. Stated Check N Go sold my information to a third party. I was furious since I had set up an agreement with the Check In Go. I was never notified by Check N Go of them selling my information to a third party. Can you investigate this company since it looks like they are selling customers information to benefit them and make money.Business Response

Check N Go sold my debt to Frontier Legal Group. First and foremost they are way past the statute of limitations on collecting debt in the state of Ohio and Texas. Secondly in 2018 I filed for bankruptcy. Which all my debts were discharged. I am currently protected from collections under my chapter 13 bankruptcy. Which check n go and frontier legal group did not submit a claim nor did they contact the attorney that’s representing me in my case.Business Response

I have never done any business with Check N Go. On behalf of Check N Go, I have been pursued twice by collection/arbitration companies to pay loans that were fraudulently taken out in my name. Check N Go clearly did not investigate the applicants as they should have. Check N Go made the mistake at least twice (to date 27 Feb 2024 that I am aware of), once in 2015 and again in 2016. In 2019 I received a collection notice and paid $500 to avoid legal complications. Then again, in 2024 I received another collection notice and paid $352 to avoid legal complications. Check N Go business practices lack thoroughness in applicant scrutiny and lag significantly in time (years!). Check N Go needs to reimburse me and go after the fraudulent applicant(s).Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not YET resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below. Please note that I am NOT REJECTING the response that Check N Go provided. Check N Go has referred the matter to their fraud department. That is a reasonable, expected and welcome, action on the part of Check N Go. I will provide my final response after I learn of their findings. Also, if Check N Go needs any further information from me to assist in their fraud investigation, I will be cooperative. It is important to both Check N Go and myself that the perpetrator(s) of the fraud and theft be exposed and prosecuted. They have done damage to both Check N Go and myself.
I reiterate to Check N Go that, I have never done business with Check N Go.
Again, I am pleased to learn that Check N Go is pursuing a fraud investigation. I look forward to their results.
