3-10-24 was searching for the ********************* phone number. First one to appear was the Ask-Crew phone number and they asked for a credit card. They never resolved the issue and was taking was too long. He kept putting me on hold. Then I got my credit card statement with a charge of $47.00. This was for nothing done to help me with the error code on my TV. Ask-Crew is a fraudulent company scamming people out of money.Business Response

I was on-line with AskCrew 3/30/24. Originally they stated it would cost $1.00 which would be refunded the next day. In looking at my bank statement today, I was charged the $1.00 with no credit and also $46.00 which was a membership fee. I did not elect to become a member. I called **************** today at ************** to request a refund. The person answering the phone did not speak or understand english very well. I'm not sure if the refund will go through, which is why I am contacting you. I am also going to contact my bank to dispute the charges as well. I went to siriusxm.com to have my subscription switched to a new car. I was routed to the Ask Crew site and was told I could choose to pay $1 for a one-time question, or $55/month. I chose the $1 option, but was also charged $55 on my bank account. I called and requested a refund, but they said they would only refund half ($27.50) in 5 business days, instead of the full amount. I signed up to ASKCREW for $1 to get a computer issue resolved and they charged me $50 and did not resolve the issue. Then for the next 2 months they are now charging me $55 each month. I want to get out from under this company. When I try to contact them on-line, they connect me to Howly.com for the same kind of deal - supposed for $1 to resolve the issue with ASKCREW. 03/11/2024 at 8:08pm I had purchased what I thought was a dollar for a week trial subscription to ask crew.The company asked **** then took off the dollar and also the 55 total for a month subscription that was not authorized I had noticed right away that it had taken off $56 instead of the initial $1 that they have advertised which I had sent in an uploaded with this. I never used any of their services. And then I was told that the $56 would be refunded back to me within 24 hours. Following an email 30 minutes later that informed me that a refund in the amount of $29 was sent back to my card but my card was not accepting it and I needed to contact my bank account and doing so I did contact borrow my bank account and they assured me that there was no problem with my card I didn't have another email that was sent to me after trying to talk to customer support from ********************** and got nowhere the email stated that I was only going to get a $27 refund this situation I had to deal with had been completely unnecessary and it was money that I needed. I feel like this business is fraudulent and the fact that they are doing this to a lot of people. Requested phone assistance and willingly agreed to pay an initial $1 non refundable fee to speak to a company agent for assistance. I was given brief advice and was not aware there would be additional recurring monthly charges or an immediate charge of $55 assessed to my card on 2/13/2024. I was not informed by anyone verbally that I had or would be agreeing to a subscription (the scam) and if I wanted a subscription I would NOT have selected a bank debit card tied to my checking account as a payment method for ANY recurring charges. My bank detected suspected fraud when they restricted my bank debit card on 3/9/2023 when ASKCREW placed a $55 charge on my debit card from the bank from their home office in ********. The bank declined the charge creating a reversal. ASKCREW then immediately placed another $55 charge on my bank debit card from their home office in ******. Because the card was blocked due to the suspicious charges I was able to get assistance from the bank fraud department to secure a phone number for the vendor. We called and requested politely to cancel the subscription that ASKCREW had opened with no verbal or written agreement. The customer service agent agreed to cancel the service. I requested that they remove our payment method details from their computer system and the company agent agreed verbally by phone to request that information to be removed.Business Response

I never orderd this subscription. I called 2 numbers ************ and ************ and they suggested right away that I subscribed on accident.
