    Ask Crew advertised joining for a 1 dollar fee and instead 46 dollars was charged to my account. I didn't give authorization for this company to charge me the 46 dollars. Deceptive business practice. Should warn consumers about pre payment for services. I never used services, therefore I'm entitled to a refund.

    On May 29,2024 I was trying to contact *** and ended up on their website which looks legitimate. They requested $1 payment (I made via PayPal.) They provided the *** support number. Then they charged my PayPal $46 later that day and checking my PayPal account, I discovered being set up for automatic monthly $46 payments! I never requested this. This Ask-Crew company is deceptive in their business practices and tricking people. I WANT A REFUND!

    I just noticed that a charge by Ask-Crew of 69$ about every 30 days appeared on my credit card and I have no idea what it is. I googled and reports of scams were numerous. I called the company and they cancelled my subscription. As I was absolutely clueless about that subscription and very concerned that my credit card information was associated with it, I asked and was told that it resulted from my chat with the Uber help center when I was seeking receipts for purposes of my tax returns. I obviously never consented to or accepted to subscribe to an external provider to simply obtained my uber receipts. I now tried to get an answer from **** but obviously impossible to talk to someone on this topic. I paid over $300 without knowing or consenting to this subscription. I absolutely want a refund as this is text book fraud and I'm baffled that it is related to Uber.

    I asked a question on ask-crew. It confused me into signing up for a subscription and charged me $46. when I saw this on my bank statement I went online and logged in and cancelled the subscription. Now I see another $46 getting charged to my account. This subscription should have been closed and stopped charging my card.

    Askcrew.com charged PayPal and our **************** card for a $1.00 question fee and a $46.00 subscription. We did not authorize the subscription. This business is a scam.

    The vendor did not explain what "customer" action caused the unwanted enrollment.  Any input by my wife, the questioner, such as name, question, payment information, etc, could and was used to enroll her without her knowledge or permission.  The sales pitch was $1.00 for an answer to a question.  No mention that enrollment and a $46.00 charge were the result of the contact.  This is unethical and fraudulent.

    An online search of Askcrew generates many negative comments from other unhappy and conned users of the "service".  *********** has an unfavorable rating and should be exposed and punished for unethical business practices.

    I am responding for my wife, *********************, who might be enrolled. Her PayPal charges went against her **************** Card on 4/26/2024. in the amounts of $1.00 and $46.00.

    The resolution to my complaint requires a full refund from Askcrew and a confirmation that ********************* has been disenrolled.  No phony, misleading excuses from Askcrew

    I was asked for 1.00 on CC for information I never talked to anyone. They charged me ***** twice. For 2 months of service I had no knowledge of this prior to money being withdrawalin from my account.

    My bank made an attempt to get .my money back. You refused. I seen 100s of complaints about you online. You are taking advantage of people who can not afford this kinda payment. You took food out of my mouth I am a disabled lady. Have a limited income. I had too go without eating 1 week of the  2 months You stole my money

    Hello, this company is beyond unethical. They advertise help "for a dollar" then charge you FOURTY SIX BUCKS. also, its IMPOSSIBLE to speak to a supervisor or manager. and they will not give me my full refund back. this company should not be able to operate this way, and I don't want more people to go through what I did.

    Ask-Crew fraudulently charged my card $46 for a service they represented as costing $1. Additionally, they could not solve the problem I was having, and, in my opinion, seemed completely ill-equipped to do so. On 5/17/2025, I was having an issue with ****** Play. In trying to seek help via the ****** Play app, I encountered Ask-Crew as a pop-up ad. I didn't realize it was an ad, so I continued on. The app asked that I pay $1, and stated two things: 1)that the dollar could be refundable, and 2) that I could rest assured that my issue could be solved. After spending 20 minutes or so with a "representative," from Ask-Crew, it became apparent that they could not resolve the issue I was having with ****** Play, I stated that I would like to be refunded my dollar (and the last 20 minutes of my time. The "representative" explained that they had no authority to issue a refund, but that they had requested one for **** checked my email shortly after the conversation with Ask-Crew terminated, and found that my card had been charged not $1, but $46. I had an accompanying email that said they had received the request for a refund, and had issued a partial refund, but there was no indication as to how much that refund might be.

    On February 13, 2024 I received and email stating I had created an account with **********************, I did not authorize an account on that date. My ********** Mastercard has been billed $55 in Feb. and March 2024 for their service. I did not authorize these ********. On March 17, 2024 I engaged their cancellation policy and received an email my subscription was canceled. I am informed and believe they are deceptively billing my account by using two withdrawals for the month of May 2024 that add up to $55.

    While trying to resolve a technical problem with Teslar Solar, ask-crew site came on line. Thinking I was communicating with a Tesla technician I supplied information regarding my problem. After a few questions I realized I was not talking with *****. And closed the chat. I dont know how ask-crew got my bank account number but I did not authorize the charge of $46 or any other amount.
