1 starMy solar panels had a microinverter stop reporting March 26, 2022. The app never alerted me nor did anyone from the monitoring team reach out to resolve the issue. Once I noticed I started calling to see what was needed to rectify the situation. After 7 months of me calling I finally get that they put in a warranty request and it is approved but since it was 2 months after the 2 year install date the want me to pay $562 to replace the warrantied part. This is a ridiculous amount for a plug and play part. The entire process to this point has been horrible.Momentum Solar

I have talked to your team (they called one time) and requested the invoice with a breakdown of why it is so expensive for the service call. She told me I would be receiving it via email. I have called about a dozen times since then and have yet to receive said invoice and I can't schedule the microinverter install until then. Every agent I talk to says they will personally follow up and ensure I get the invoice and get it resolved and that hasn't happened either. Please call me or send the email so I can pay to restore my system.SHAREEF A.

On the 28th of March I contacted a Rep named ****** who apologized profusely about my situation and she talked to whoever she said she needed to talk to to get me an appointment for the 10th of April with ******* from service. She told me it looks as if the morning would be my block but he hadn't responded to confirm but my appointment was set to the 10th of April time to be determined. I asked her to please send me the invoice so I can pay it and she told me that since i had been having a ton of issues it wasn't necessary. I again ensured I was set for the 10th and was told yes. Today is the 10th and no one has called or showed up. When I called they say they have to send a message to the service department and they will call back. Please call me soI can get this fixed. 5 starsI cant express enough how pleased I'm with this company here in ************, *******. My solar specialist *******************, came to my home not only was she punctual but extremely professional. Took her time to explain everything to me, making me feel so at easy with my decision on going solar. She continues to go the extra mile to help me with any questions I have even on her days off. 5 starsA few weeks ago, the installers arrived early in the morning and were done with their job before noon - no small feat considering how quiet they were on my roof. I was pleasantly surprised to see an almost immediate dip in my electric usage according to PSEG's app.Momentum Solar

1 starI just received a phone call from **** to follow up on my website inquiry for an in-home sales consultation. **** was very cordial and engaging as we chatted about my interest in going solar. **** identified a suitable time for me to meet with a representative in person and connected me with **** from Scheduling to finalize. **** was not as cordial, nor as respectful of my time, considering this phone call was 'cold' in the sense that I didn't schedule it or prepare for extended telephone time. I just wanted to agree on a site visit and plan for discussion as scheduled. before confirming, **** insisted that my wife be present for the meeting, which wasn't possible. **** wanted to reschedule for another time, which wasn't convenient. Each time I declined, **** countered with reasons they want her there. **** became argumentative when I suggested that I don't need to have her with me because we aren't making any decisions on the spot. We're comparing ******** ******* Tesla and Momentum and will need time after all meetings to do so. Ultimately **** claimed this was company policy and refused to accommodate the appointment. While I felt **** was not customer friendly, I have to say the policy asserted by **** should have been mentioned by Momentum long before that conversation. On the website FAQs, during the website request for an appointment, up-front from **** on the phone call I received... what a waste of my time. I like that Momentum is privately held and I found positive reviews for them online, including from This Old House. However, this 'policy' reeks of high-pressure sales tactics. None of the competitors mentioned have this hard policy and accordingly I'm glad to remove Momentum from my pool of candidates. I have reported this through their website as well.Momentum Solar

1 starThese are some of the most sales pressured people. They have no respect for your process of how you make a decision. What I experience was, because I said I need to look at all the options I have before making a decision and I need to talk to GOD about what is my best option, the representative kept saying "what is that you need to look at". Then when I refused to do a credit check twice, he stated he need to call his manager and tell him I said I need to talk to "GOD". I said go ahead put him on speaker his manager proceed what appear to me as mocking and said " I was a preacher son but GOD is not going to get mad because you saving a few thousand dollar" which I felt was a way of trying to apply pressure to me to make a decision right then along with the rep who kept saying what is that you need to look at. Instead of saying I respect your wishes. What they didn't know is that I was a sales person for 10 years that work on commission, so I know the tricks of the trade. Of course because of this sales tactic the hour and half was wasted time because all of Momentum information went don't pass GO and straight to the shedder and if I hear of anyone attempting to use them I will definitely let them know there rating is a THREE STAR not a A+ my people only use 4.5 STARS and above. Once I looked their rating now I see why they tried to down 100 of pressure on me . Sorry WRONG lady so you see GOD SPOKE.6Momentum Solar

1 starThis is worst solar company you can have. I kept getting outrageous electricity bill when I have solar in my home. My electricity for December bill was $191.05, January bill was $203 and I pay momentum solar $154 . Does it make sense? They kept asking for my bill since last year March 2022 , nothing has been done. I was asked to send my bill again that someone will contact me, nothing was done. DONT USE MOMENTUM SOLAR, my attorney will be getting in touch with them.Momentum Solar
