1 starI clicked on the link that claimed "******* governor will pay for your solar panels if you live in these ******* zip codes. Enter your zip code to see if you qualify." I entered my zip code. They asked for my email and phone number. I reluctantly complied. Next, Momentum Solar is calling me to set up an appointment to provide me with an estimate because (of course!) my zip code doesn't qualify for "free" solar - no zip code in ******* does. I agreed to an appointment to get an extra proposal to compare to the proposals from other companies my husband and I interviewed. We could not get their salesman to provide us with any actual proposal! He kept talking about no money down, immediate monthly savings of $20 regardless of how much debt we would have to take on, etc. etc. etc. Once we told him we would not sign anything today no matter what, he started calling his manager - just like a used car salesman! After 2 hours of this we asked him to leave. He did not leave for another half an hour. Then he did leave but did not propose anything in writing. If you find yourself falling for the "immediate $20 a month savings" by signing to $47,000.00 loan, please think again! You can least afford to be tricked by this company into taking a horrendous debt. You can get a much bigger and better solar system for a much, much, much lesser price.Momentum Solar

5 stars***** has taken the time to explain the process to me step by step and made me feel very at ease. He is extremely personable and very knowledgeable about his product. I would feel comfortable referring him to anyone of my friends or family. Momentum solar seems like the perfect company for anyone considering solar.Momentum Solar

1 starI contracted with momentum in Sept of 22. Was told I need a new roof. Paid $13,000+ and was told I would have the solar installed after the roof. Roof was installed on October 31, 2022. In the beginning of December we had a new heating and cooling system installed in the house costing almost $20 grand. In January I called to inquire about the date for my project completion and was told my grid was closed out Nov 9, 2022. The permits had been ready since October 5th and the electric company told me my grid was closed out since January of 22. 9 month before my contract. I have called weekly asking for the communication proof between the solar company and the electric company and it has been ignored. Do not use this company. #1 in customer service is a joke. No stars is my review. NO STARS.Momentum Solar

1 starCustomer service is basically non existent. Have tried several times to contact them and no response. Promised things that they did not fulfill. Was promised we could monitor consumption/production from the Enphase application on our phone only to find out consumption meters were not installed originally and now we will have to pay to have them installed. Continually having issues with monitoring production as the wifi does not stay connected even though the signal strength is great. Sales person was wonderful at explaining the process and steps to get things rolling. Shortly after we signed up, the sales person was no longer with the company, he even called to let us know. Since then we have been on our own to find answers to issues. Different times we have tried to get information from Momentum and were told someone would contact us. We have never received a response.The actual installers (gentlemen that put the system in) were great, explained everything cleaned up and answered what questions they could.Momentum Solar

1 starSales person is great. Just dont trust a single thing they tell you.My project started in Oct 2022, they completed installation on March 2023, yet told Divudenr project was installed in February so now we are paying for FPL and Solar Panel loans even thought our system is NOT working.Why is the system not up and running? Because Momentum gives their customer the run around. They apply for permits with your municipality but DONT pay for the city fee or record the *** letter and until those are done, you can not have the system inspected or connected to the power grid.They LIE to you saying that the city is taking too long Que in reality, things that can be done in 10 min and from the comfort or their office using online payment systems for permits are not done.Momentum keeps telling me that their field personnel are their own employees, which I doubt. Either way, if they dont have enough staff to do the work they shouldnt be getting more projects than they can deliver.WRITE TO YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESS REPRESENTATIVE.Momentum Solar

1 starThis company has the WORST customer service ever! They installed the panels 6 months ago (they get paid after that, so they rush to do it). Now it has been a nightmare between getting the inspection from the city (they failed the first one already) and FPL. To make it worst, we have to start making payments on April 1st for a service that IS NOT COMPLETED AND RUNNING YET. The Customer Service never has not have the updated info on our account and make promises that they would call us back but we never get them to call us back. If you are thinking about hiring a company for solar panels, watch out and go over the contract BEFORE. They use tricky words because for me, installed means that it is working and for them is only having the panels laying on the roof. 1 starIf I could give them 0 stars I would. This has been the worth customer service experience I have ever received. It seems like no one know anything and whenever they guranteed me for a call back once they got the right information I never got a call back. They dropped the ball multiple times, and they don't inform customers of any changes. WHICH IS CRAZY since it has to do with finances for a lot of people. I wish I could take the panels off my roof. 1 starThere was a lot of promises that never came through the service almost took a year to install and now Im paying electric Bell and a solar bill they lied about how you get your money back from the government their sales person just really misled me and my neighbor I still havent been paid for a referral I made numerous and I made tons of home calls and threaten to pull the plug if they didnt get out here and do some thing they have no communication between ********** and ******* I brag to everybody about this company I was ready to become a sales person because so many people were convinced by my bragging about the company now I will tell everybody dont even do it and company is lacking in a lot and they dont back up their words I asked them to do something to make the solar panels get paid for a month later it was 10 days when they finally hooked it up till my payment and they refuse to do anything to help I am very dissatisfiedMomentum Solar

1 starThis company just spent 4 hours (salesperson was at her house til 10:30 at night and wouldnt leave until I threatened to call the cops) harassing my 80 year old mother to get her to sign some contract I called the company today to tell them to cancel the contract as I am the trustee of the estate and they need my signature for anything to be done. In response the representative from the company refused and hung up on me. This company is a scam!!!Momentum Solar

1 starMy sales rep was good he answers or gets back to about 85% of the time. They promised a rebate it has been 6 months since they have been installed I still have yet to receive it after calling multiple times and I still have yet to receive a solution the only thing I heard was it was still pending. They tell how you can use a tax incentive to help keep your payments low and I called no one can tell me anything about how to do other then see you tax professionals and my electric bill is still high. If I could give them back I would. They tell you whatever to get you signed up and once you buy the product they leave you high and dry.Momentum Solar
