1 starThey use unlawful deceitful practices. They promise to give you money, they don't fall through. They say you'll have a ****** Of 60 days from once it's installed, but takes 3 months to actually get an activated, so you're paying before you even get to use it.Momentum Solar

1 starMy experience with Momentum Solar has been poor. On the date of installation (5/18/2013), the roofers and electricians showed up with a different design/configuration than was provided by the Care Team Specialist. I was asked to agree to the placement of panels on other parts of my roof and to accept all the apparatus (conduit and anchors) accompanying it. I returned home early to find the roofers had left but did not conduct any clean-up. I picked up 10 2+" screws throughout my yard, short sections of conduit in the gutters, and miscellaneous materials in the gutters and yard. I accessed my roof to find the ridge vent and shingles damaged both on the garage and house; in 2 locations, panel array anchors were drilled and removed, the "repair" the roofers felt was adequate was roofing cement, and one gutter of the house was hanging off the house. After pursuing my own roofing contractor for a quote to make the repairs, I couldn't get any response for the damages from Momentum. I submitted a claim, and 4-weeks later, I received a call from a separate contractor, which Momentum hired, suggesting they'd be over to make the repairs that day. When they showed up, they didn't have the quote, list of damages, or even shingles to make the repairs. Now, I'm waiting on the inspections for energization, and I haven't received a clear answer as to why the inspections aren't scheduled. I've called my town Building Inspector and Electrical Inspector and was informed there is no inspection waiting period. This further verifies Momentum Solar doesn't prioritize its customers after the installation. This is because.....Momentum Solar doesn't honor its agreements. The Momentum Install agreement states Momentum will not collect payment until the installation is complete, including inspections. 1 starHow can this company be A+ rated with so many recent bad reviews? I had an appointment scheduled for a sales call and they called 40 minutes after the scheduled time, asking for another 45 minutes. I'm too busy for this. Then, since I have researched quite a bit and know what I want, I asked for a call to discuss price and warranty, and they said ok, in 3 months! In other words, if we don't get to high-pressure sell you in your living room, we don't have time for you. (big red flag).I could tell from the start that they have a decent appointment setter to hook the prospect, then everything seemed down hill from there. Reading this page saved me from what I imagine would have been a nightmare dealing with them after the install. Where's the business integrity these days?Thanks BBB!Momentum Solar

1 starMomentum lied to me about their price. Initially I was told $249 a month for a 20 year loan. I even confirmed and he stated its a set price for all 20 years.Little did I know and *** of Momentum didnt tell me, if it didnt fulfill taxes on this, my payment would become $391 a month in 16 months from now!!!Additionally, during the process, *** told me that my payments were $275, not $249. Again, I have texts of him tell me the price is $249. He had no reason for why the price changed.When I asked to cancel my policy, I received numerous calls as to why I cant cancel my policy cause I signed the contract. Again, *** told me in texts something totally different. Panels arent even on my house yet. Somehow, Momentum is now saying Im stuck with it. The price has been a total lie and I have been mislead the whole time. The ************* division of Momentum has played me into a terrible hole.I hope someone can help me.Momentum Solar

1 starWe had momentum install a system several years ago and we're actually very happy with it. At first several months after having the system installed we had a hailstorm and my roofer contacted momentum to have them take the panels down so we can have our roof replaced. Momentum did so the panels were reinstalled. Everything was good. I never talked to momentum about this. This was all my roofer over a year later. Momentum contacts me wanting to collect a fee for having those panels taken down and put back up. I told them that that was handled by my roofer confirmed with my roofer that this was paid momentum for the last year has been hounding me about this. I was finally able to get proof of payment from my roofer and they are now asking for more information. I will never do business with momentum again. If you're smart you'll stay away they are. They have been trying to double bill me for a service for over 2 years.Momentum Solar

1 starAwful company. They do not properly attain permits etc. They will disappear once they sell you the panels and you are stuck with the permitting/inspection process Shady salespeople will say anything to make the sale. This company is the absolute worst. I would warn anyone to stay away from momentum and choose a different solar companyMomentum Solar

1 starHorrible company to deal with from the sales person (***) to customer service. It starts off great and once they get what they want it's goodbye. The sales person acts like your best friend and once he makes his sale if you have questions he doesn't respond to texts or calls or tells you he'll will get back to you and never does. Solar panels were installed and (may 14) installation guys left paperwork and clipboard and a knife at my home. Also a metal rod was left sticking out of my ground which I believe is supposed to ground the system. I think it should have some type of cap over it. I didn't know it was there until I hit my lawnmower with it. I have called repeatedly about these issues and spoke to different people about it. *** asked to speak to managers and they say they put messages into them and nobody ever returns my calls. I was told by one female that they would come to my house on Monday June 29th in the afternoon and of course no one came. I called the following day to ask what happened and no explanations and I was promised a manager would call me and of course no one called me back. So of course I've called again. This has gone on for weeks. The panels were installed on May 14 (mother's day)! Of all days. Inspection is not until June 16. So that's a month they've been on my roof! I totally regret going with momentum solar. I recommend no one else use them.Momentum Solar
