We have received nonstop robocalls from this company, a couple each day, everyday. I would never do business with this company based on this harassment and the continual phone calls are interfering with our lives.Business Response

My telephone number is listed on the National Do Not Call Registry maintained by the ************************* A telephone call was received on October 19, 2022 at 11:54AM from ************, identified by my caller ID as *********************, *******. Due to my close proximity to *********************, and knowing many individuals who reside there, I took the call. The individual identified himself as Momentum Solar and began asking questions regarding my power consumption. I verified whom he said he represented, then swore at him for having the nerve to call people in the **************************** I have NEVER contacted Momentum Solar. I have no desire to do business with Momentum Solar and I do not want their unsolicited telephone calls. The number he called from was spoofed, so I can prove little, however, Momentum Solar and other solar sales people were attempting door to door sales for many months prior to the hurricane. I have chased this company and others off my property repeatedly. It needs to stop now.Business Response

My telephone number should never have been on their sales call lists as I have never contacted, nor done business with Momentum Solar. Taking a few days to remove my telephone number is a few days too long.In addition to telephone calls, they are to discontinue door to door sales on my property. This was not addressed in their response. No contact means no contact of any kind.

When I contracted 3 years ago (2019) with Momentum Solar Co. I was told for any referral who contracted with them I would get a ****** commission. This spring 2022 my Friend ***************************** contracted with them, gave his salesman my name, address, and phone number and told him I referred him and please send me the check once he was installed. Once his solar was installed in approx June 2022 I called the company to see when I would get my check. While I was on the phone with customer service they called *********************** to confirm my referral. He confirmed, which customer service told me and I was then told my check would come in 10 to 14 days. I never received it. My next call customer service told me my check was not in that batch, but was in the next batch going out and again I was told I would have it in 10 to 14 days. Again it didn't come. I called, yet again, this time I was told it was in the wrong department, their mistake, that it was taken care of, and yet again, check would come in 10 to 14 days. I never received it, so I called Again Oct 18th. The customer service rep put me on hold and checked with "bookkeeping" because she could see a check never went out. I was on hold 10 or 15 minutes and she came back on and told me I was disqualified to get my commission because I didn't file correctly!! I asked to speak to someone above her and was told that was not possible.I asked to speak to the person who told her this and was told I could not. I asked for the names of the people responsible to which she gave me Account manager: ***************************** and director of sales ********************************.....resfused to give me phone numbers or explanation of what I supposedly did wrong after being told 3 times "The check is in the mail" Something is very wrong here. I did exactly what I was told to do.....if this was not correct why was I not told the very first time I called it was "under investigation" I believe the company may be having money problems and just won't honor.Business Response

On Monday, October 17, 2022, representatives from Momentum Solar were apparently contracted to do work on my neighbors property. I was unaware of this until I heard footsteps on my roof and stepped outside to my front yard and found a ladder in the garden of my house. The ladder caused cosmetic damage in the garden. I asked the two gentleman standing in my yard what was happening and they initially didn't answer, just gestured to the man on my roof. I asked again and they gestured to the truck parked on the median that said Momentum Solar and said they were installing panels. I asked why they were in my yard and on my roof and someone came up and said they were doing the work on behalf of the neighbor. I asked that they stop and remove the ladder from my garden and leave my roof. This was done but not immediately and no effort was made to address the damage to the garden or to explain what, if anything, was done on my roof before I was alerted to the problem. One person provided a card when I asked and the contact information is *******************************, # ************. I would like Momentum to arrange for an independent inspection of my roof to ensure there is no damage as a result of their mistake.Business Response

My Solar project is going on since more then 6 months and finally passed the final inspection, still don't how as the wiring is not complete. The system can't be used and the Company not sending anybody out to complete the job. I am frustrated and start regretting using Momentum Solar as I am only getting a run around.Business Response

I bought some solar panels for a house I own in ******* (where a family membr lives) in December 2021 from Momentum Solar who charged me $53,295. This was very much higher than I wanted to spend - and I could not remember agreeing to such a high price. The purchase was financed with a loan agreement with them.Because I had concerns that remained about such a high cost, I recently asked for a copy of the contract. They then sent me a copy of the contract but the copy of the contract that they sent me had (1) an incorrect home telephone number for me (2) an email address that has nothing to do with me and (3) what was purported to be my signature and also my initials pasted into other pages in the contract - but I was not the person who put them there. So, as far as I can tell, someone from Momentum Solar must have signed fraudulently my name. Momentum Solar gave an email address for me to *********** (the local electricity utility) that has nothing to do with me. As a result, I did not receive the emails needed to complete the installation from *********** (the local electricity company). This resulted in about a seven month delay in the panels becoming operational and I had some very large electricity bills in the period - as high as $576 for **** 2022.Can BBB assist me in getting Momentum Energy to (1) remove and take back the solar panels;(2) cancel the loan;(3) repair any damage to the roof (such as holes in the roof) after the panels are removed; and (4) compensate me for the excessively high electricity bills as they increased from January to August 2022 Thank you ************Business Response

THE WORST FINANCIAL HEADACHE EVER!! - Solar Panels I have remodeled my entire house. nothing has been a worse experience than dealing with Momentom solar. The sales people will lie to you and promise you things that never make in on the contract. On 4/25/22. my panels finally went up, and since then Ive been paying 2 payments. A payment for the solar panels and FULL ELECTRIC BILL. Today is 10/12/2022 Momentum still is unable to connect them to the city power. THE WORST COMPANY EVER. I have called. emailed and have detailed records, If a ******* attorney is reading this. feel free to contact me. I would love to know what my options are. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they billed me for everything and then walked away without connecting the panels. They were suppose to save me money on my electric bill. No savings, I have been paying 2 full bills since April. I never complain. but I reached out to them in September 2021 to begin my Solar process which is still Incomplete.Also. they said they "lost my phone number" when I have been in constant contact with them. Their sales associate never returns your calls or text after they have been paid, actually. NO one does, you have to call or email them, they will never reach out to you first, unless its about getting money or renewing a permit so they don't loose the job. I called to speak to a manager and they are useless. Never can give me an answer to what is happening or who is working on it.Business Response

They sold me a system with all the panels facing south. On the pretense that I would save money and have lower energy cost. They did a bunch of math and told me that the system even though designed to produce 80% of my energy needs was over engineered and would cover more than that. All I would pay the electric company is the minimum payment they could charge. In instillation day they installed half the panels facing north and told me they would produce the same energy as if they were facing north. And if they did not. They would fix it. Fast forward to today. The panels don't cover my energy needs and I am paying about $100 a month more for energy than I was before solar. So essentially if they don't move the solar panels or install more to offset the loss of production for being installed on the wrong side of my house. I will be out almost $100k by the time the solar has been paid off.False statements and lies during the sales meeting and the system not producing what I was promised. It would work for them to put up about ***** more panels on a rack in the front yard to offset production loss. I have been trying to get this problem resolved for 5+ months. I have been told everything from *we will fix the problem...the vice president is aware of the issue" to "we can't do anything to fix this at our expense " I have also been flat out ignored most of the time. Momentum spoke with **************** and discussed the installation process and the reasons as to why panels were installed on different parts on the roof. We explained that our engineers reviewed the the southern portion of the structure that **************** was referencing, and determined that we were not able to install on that side of the roof.
