1 starHorrible service. Ripping people off raising their prices constantly within only months apart, then saying you still owe money after you already paid them early or on time. Excuses for outages. 1 starI have called a few times just to get my password to my wifi and each and everytime I'm getting a robot saying there is a disruption and it should be up and running by a certain time.my whole family is very upset with them. Thewifi password i had was an old account from a different company.i put that in and astound says wrong password what did they do change it without telling me? 1 starBy far the worst company to have services with. I am moving out of state and called to disconnect on a certain date. Because my billing cycle ends 4 days prior to when I want to disconnect, they either disconnect on the cycle end date, which I cannot do because I need wifi until I move OR bill me the entire next billing cycle for a service I will no longer be receiving except for 4 days. They are incompetent to be able to prorate services and having good reputable customer service. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS, even if others are a bit more in price. Our terms and conditions were updating in the beginning of April 2024, and customers were notified via email/mail prior to the change. Our policy now is that internet-only customers are billed to the end of their current billing cycle when disconnecting service. We appreciate your feedback and will share it with our management team. 1 starThis is the worst ISP I've ever had in 20+ years and I've had ******* (which I thought was as low as you could get). Their customer service is full of apathetic surly staff that are clearly sick of their horrible jobs and really couldn't care less about helping you out. Our cable taps are messed up from the drop (the telephone pole box). It's been literal years and no one has ever come out and do what's needed, which is to replace the drop (after countless promises to do so). The threat they love to use is that "if your equipment is at fault you will have to pay for the tech." This is meant to scare you off, I have brand new top of the line hardware so I make the request and nothing ever happens. I won't even get started on their absurd promotional call in absurdity which you need to repeat annually to try to stay at a remotely normal rate. This company has cost me countless hours of frustration and cause me professional embarrassment countless times as I work remotely and frequently drop during important zoom calls.Astound Broadband powered by RCN

1 star5X I have called billing to review my account. Each time, I am given a great low price. Within a month or two, the monthly *** goes up. No email/letter informing me of the increase. I document the cust service rep name, time, date, new rate, AND how long the 'locked in' monthly *** will last. Each time, I'm told the price is good for the dates they just gave me. 5X monthly *** increases. I call back to ask for Astound to make good of those guaranteed offers and refund me the higher *** I was charged. Nope. Either they have no notes from my calls and/or they can't control the increases/promotions and I can't talk to no one else but that person. "We cannot accommodate your old agreement." Every time, the same script is read to me. Why can't my pricing stay as agreed?!! And the speed is not consistent. And no one can tell me what G I am paying for. Its not on my online act or on my printed stmt. I wrote down years ago that I had Ter 4 but no one can tell me who knows. Astound is a lousy company!! I rate them F-. Absolutely no stars. 1 starAstound is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Up charged me to the fastest speeds without telling me, ask to decrease speed to pay less and they said if I wanted to increase it again it would cost double as they would not honor the promotion I was given (without my knowledge). Spoke on the phone and said I would get a call back from a supervisor and it took a week before I heard anything. Then, when I spoke to the supervisor they said they couldn't do anything about the scam. I am very happy to see a 1.13 rating on here but it should really be 0. If you wrong a customer you should be doing everything in your power to keep them/right your wrong and I did not feel that at all. What they do is highly illegal and I hope the BBB takes some action.Astound Broadband powered by RCN

1 starThe customer service is poor! There is no respect but abuse! They took money from my account for the modem and said they would refund it when they got the modem back. I sent the modem and for 2 months now they have been telling me that someone will contact me soon about my situation, but no one has ever contacted me. I have proof that I returned the modem and that they received the equipment and even signed a document. Apparently they lost it and just don't want to give me my money back! However I dont want to give up and I intend to get my money back from them!Astound Broadband powered by RCN
