Sketchy advertising and therefore KK's reputation is getting tarnished on the web which is unbeknownst to you. I do not go to KK but my son asked me to because of a promotion to which one is to receive a full dozen of donuts if he joins your rewards program. The advertisement shows on his rewards account but the promotion just never went through after multiple attempts. My son is on many shopping websites and almost all of them are questioning your practice. It appears to be a repeated practice of bait and switch. We indeed did go there for an online order and we received a survey which states that a $5 coupon will be rewarded if the survey is completed. For at least the last year, I have consistently been unable to obtain the hot now doughnuts Krispy Kreme is so famous for at the ***********, ** location. I have filed complaint after complaint on ******** when a Krispy Kreme representative always directs me to a form on their website to fill out. Ive done that, to no avail every time. Ive called the ***** number to complain, it too leads to no action by the company at the location. I called this last week (April 8-12) and was told it would be the middle of next year (presumably the gentleman means 2025) before the hot and ready doughnuts will be available again at the east ****** location. Currently, doughnuts are brought in from their sister store on the other side of ******, which defeats the purpose of having hot and ready (hot now) doughnuts.Initial Complaint

Yesterday (Sunday) afternoon I visited the store at **********************************************, I went in to get a dozen of the Total Solar Eclipse Doughnuts, I was told they did not have any but they would have some later in the evening and that they would have plenty in the morning. The person working there suggested I call in the morning and tell them what I want and they would have them ready when I came to get them. She wrote down the store phone number one a card. This morning, I called to place my order, the person who answered said sorry we only are taking orders for 10 or more dozen, but they have plenty of Eclipse doughnuts. So, I headed to the store arrived at 7:15am the line of cars was wrapped around the building. I got in line. Over an hour and 15 minutes later I finally get to the order speaker, place my order and am told they are temporarily out I asked how long temporarily was and was told they are only filling online orders and that was the only way to get them. So I left.Pulled into a parking lot and placed an online order 12 Total Solar Eclipse Doughnuts, for delivery to my work. Surprisingly the online order said would be delivered at 9:38am total was $31.88 plus tax; I was charged $33.66 on my credit card. The Door Dash driver promptly showed up with my order. Opened the box and it was just a box of assorted doughnuts (note there were 12 in the box, a co-worker grabbed one before I got the photo) NOT the Eclipse Doughnuts that I had ordered and paid for. I tried calling the store for an explanation; after multiple attempts no one answers the phone.Business Response

On Sunday, March 17, at 8:15 am I ordered 3-count Assorted doughnuts ( two raspberry-filled and one lemon-filled Doughnut) and a dozen Green ********* Glazed doughnuts. I prepaid through the app upon arrival to pick up my order the associate at the window said the raspberry and lemon were not made and the manager would issue me a refund. I called the location several times during the week and could not reach a human contact. I returned to the location on Saturday, March 24th and the associate said again the manager would take care of this; she wrote down the order number, and my phone number and said the manager would give me a call. I have not been contacted and have not been able to contact a human at the location.Business Response

To whom this concerns, On February 13th 2024 I ordered a dozen of valentines day donuts on *******************************************************************. When I went home and ate with my family, my son, screams and starts spitting his food out. I then asked him what was wrong and there was hair in his donut. Huge FOOD HAZARD. We were all disgusted. Does Krispy Kreme company not wear a hairnet? Hair nets are used as protective gear in the food industry to keep food safe from contamination and protect consumers. Any loose hair falling into the food can carry bacteria on food and contaminate products. Why havent they thought about this? . I spoke with **************** i got an email on February 15th of a Free 1 Dozen Assorted Doughnut. On February 18th my husband and I decided to go to Krispy Kreme to redeem the coupon. When we got to the building it was 9:00PM the doughnut shop closes at 10PM. It was very odd to see the building pitch back as if krispy kreme was closed, even the open light sign was off. I went to the window and there was 3 female employees helping us redeem the coupon, seems like there was technical difficulties. The fourth person came to the window assuming it was an employee she was not wearing uniform like the other female employees ( Attire red polo shirt and ******* the female was wearing a blue shirt, blue windbreaker, was wearing braids and had bruises all over her neck . I can put 2 and 2 together that is not bruises. Very tacky and unprofessional. Not looking forward to my local Krispy Kreme seeing a sleazy employee with bruises all over her neck not wearing appropriate attire. The blue shirt im assuming employee opened the window and told me: We cant give you your Free Donut with an attitude. I asked why and she responded with an attitude once again saying URGH you didnt print your coupon. You shouldve print the coupon. Every question I had was with disrespect and patronize me. I got to ****** cream at least once a week and I always try and get a glazed cream filled. For the past 6 months every time I try to get glazed cream filled they never have them NEVER. I am a Krispy Kreme rewards member & I have 1 free dozen glazed donuts coming to me & have it in my app for proof. I went to redeem my offer & was refused because it did not show up under my phone number to the business. My complaint is regarding false advertising and deceptive business practices by Krispy Kreme Donuts.
On 11-13-23, Krispy Kreme advertised a dozen free donuts to any customer.
The free donuts were available on 11-13-23 as a promotion for Kindness Day.
On 11-13-23, I went to the Krispy Kreme in ******* TN on ***** ******* *********.
On 11-13-23, the Krispy Kreme location on ***** ******* ********* in ******* TN was closed.
On 11-12-23, the Krispy Kreme location on ***** ******* ********* in ******* TN was open.
I called customer service on 11-13-23 and I spoke to a female name J********.
I explained to J******* about Krispy Kreme was closed on 11-13-23 on ***** ******* ********* in ******* TN.
I requested a raincheck.
On 11-13-23, J******* advised me that she would send me a gift card in the mail for a free dozen donuts of my choice.
J******* advised me that she could not send me a coupon through email.
I did not receive any gift card through the mail from Krispy Kreme Donuts.
I went to the ***** ******* ********* location on 11-15-23 to request a raincheck.
I was denied a raincheck by the manager and I was told the offer expired on 11-13-23.
I would like for Krispy Kreme Donuts to honor its promotion that was offered on 11-13-23.Customer Answer

I ordered online, got an err message so I ordered again. Email sent me two order confirmations, I only wanted 1 order. Called krispy kreme as the email advised for issues but they said they could not help me cancell first order because it was now ********'s responsibility. Krispy kreme's online page did not mention that my order would be hijacked by ********. Krispy kreme and ******** failed to provide me with an option to cancell well ahead of my order delivery time. My second order was delivered to a different location and the delivery person would not answer my calls nor texts in my attemps to give them delivery arraingements.Business Response
