      Purchased tickets on 11/14/2023. Saw that my card had been overcharged. Immediately called company to get a refund and was told I would only get 65% back although they had overcharged and mis represented themselves. Was sent an email that I would not get tickets for 4 but vouchers instead that we had to go pick up. This was a ************ dinner theatre for December dinner show.WHY ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS?

      Although, they were not truthful in their response.  I will be more careful in my purchases and make sure I am dealing with a reputable company that delivers     what they promise.

      I booked a vacation with this company. I immediately got bad information from them. At one point one of the representatives even said she would give me 10% off of my vacation for the miss information but I don’t think I ever got that. However, my complaint isn’t even about that. When I booked a vacation, it came with the Mount Rushmore tour. I was told that the bus would pick me up in front of my hotel. The day before the tour, I looked up the pick up location and it turns out it was 7 miles away. I did not rent a car or make any other arrangements to accommodate this. I ended up not going on that tour. I would like a refund for that tour. I called back in July and asked for one and they said no because the tour is nonrefundable. I called back again today and I got the same answer. The call was escalated to a supposed manager he was very rude and he hung up on me . I only want the 375 back for the mount Rushmore tickets.

      My sister and I purchased through vacations made easy, a hotel along with vouchers for a show. The show was fine. The hotel was not the hotel that we picked. It was another hotel that was so nasty and dirty we could not even stay there. It cost us not only what we paid them totally amount of $500 probably the hotel been 350 of that, we ended up spending an additional $300 the first night $600 the next two nights to be able to find a place to stay. We were there October 6 through October 8, nobody will return my phone call. Nobody will tell me why they cant refund this money and they pretend like its not a bait and switch but thats exactly what it is even your own website states that people have been duped into thinking they were picking one hotel and getting vouchers for another vouchers for another! I have sent a fax to the president or vice president of the company, the dispute resolution specialist, and nobody will call me back! Reservation was actually done for ******************* **** Wildwood in ******, ** *****. She lost her husband and we were taking a vacation to try to deal with some pain and this is what we got instead. We are not trying to get compensated for the show that we did go to. We are trying to get compensated for the hotel only even though I think they should actually credit the whole package back.

      We ordered tickets and they charged us twice. When we called them, then they charged us way more than what we thought it would be--maybe 40% more. When we called to cancel, we felt like it was a scam. We still haven't received the tickets. They won't cancel the tickets and they won't give a full refund. They want to sell you a time share. The total they charged was $1700.00. We thought it was going to be $1200. We are disputing this with our credit card company.

      Yes as of now I have received the credit as they promised.  Although I have been made good, the amount of work and hassle to us including having the credit card changed and the time and effort spent should be a part of their restitution. If questionable business practices were penalized for doing such things maybe it would eliminate some. Thanks to the BBB for your service and your help in this matter.  Thank You.

      I called this company to find out information about shows for a trip we were planning. The lady on the phone scammed me by claiming that I had to really hurry and purchase tickets through her. Nor did she make the price clear to me. After being persuaded to purchase, I immediately checked into the actual cost of the tickets, and learned that I had been charged nearly double- and many seats were still available. I did not need to hurry at all and purchase through them. I don't hear well and I felt she took advantage of my impairment. I called them back 10 minutes later and was told that if I cancelled, I owed them a 35% cancelation fee - or I could get a gift card for the amount of purchase which would do us no good at all. I called back a second time and talked to a manager who offered me a 10% cancellation fee, which still came to over $200. I am still waiting for any reimbursement and have paid them $2107.43 by a **** **** credit card. We want a FULL refund for order #s ******** ******** *** ******** We are upset enough that we are likely going to cancel going to Branson at all. This company has certainly given us a bad taste for this community.

      The customer placed an order via phone on 8/14/2023 at 11:22 AM agreeing to our terms of sales which states cancellations received more than 2 days prior to the date of your first reservation

      can have 100% of your vacation's value applied to a future vacation for up to 12 months or a 65% refund.

      At 12:36 pm on 8/14/2023 the customer called in and spoke to a Customer Service Representative in regards to canceling the order. The Customer Service Representative quoted the policy and the customer did not agree to any options and said they would dispute with the credit card company. The customer disconnected the call. The order was left as is. The customer called in at 12:44 pm and spoke to a Supervisor that our prices were way off and they wanted to cancel. The Supervisor quoted policy and offered to go above policy and offer the customer a 90% refund. The customer did not accept the options and said they would dispute through their credit card company. The call was disconnected. The order was left as is.

      At 1:08 pm the customer called and spoke to a Customer Service Representative in regards to canceling. The Customer Service Representative quoted the policy and gave the customer the two options. The customer asked to speak to a Supervisor. At 1:33pm the customer spoke to a Supervisor in regards to canceling the order. The Supervisor offered 90% and the customer accepted but said he would leave bad reviews. The 90% refund details are as follows:

      Vacations Made Easy gave us a full refund to our credit card and we are satisfied with their response. They are still an overcharging and deceitful company but we are pleased with our final result.

      I purchased 3 adult tickets for Pirates Voyage in ************ at 10:15pm 7/28 for the 8:00pm show on July 30. I had really needed 6:00pm tickets but Vacations Made Easy showed that showtime to be sold out. In calling the box office, immediately after ordering the tickets, to ask a question about the venue; I was told they had plenty of seating in all choice areas for the 6:00pm show on July 30. They explained that the third party sellers sold less desireable times first before posting availability for the highly desireable 6:00pm show and that I should purchase through the box office for true ticket availability! I immediately tried to call Vacations Made Easy ( now 10:30 pm- 15 minutes after purchasing the tickets) and heard a recorded message that their phones turn off at 10:00 pm nightly. I then emailed the company to tell them I wanted to cancel my tickets in accordance with their stated Free Cancellation within 48 hours policy on their website. They answered back promptly that I would need to go on the site and cancel. I then found that there was no option to cancel a purchase on the site they gave me; and, in looking into the fine print on the site, found there was NO free cancellation at all. I would be fined $50.00 and would only receive approx. half of my purchase price ( after taxes and other misc. fees)! The time was 11:00 pm and I found I had to cancel by midnight ( no 48 hour window) to even get half of my purchase price- but I couldnt call due to phones being off at 10:00pm and no option to cancel anywhere on the site. This is a true scam operation. I also didnt realize that I would have to stand in line in the hot sun miles from the venue to pick up the tickets. My husband and I are elderly and could not wait in hot sun to pick up tickets. I never picked up the tickets and never attended the show. My order number was ******* for total of $241.63

Orders inside 48 hours of first scheduled reservation are

      non-cancelable. No refunds or credits can be given inside 48 hours of first scheduled reservation.

      On 7/31/2023 we received a PayPal dispute. The customer has filed a dispute with PayPal and the transaction is currently in dispute status and the case is under review. We would be happy to refund the customer however since this transaction is in dispute status we will have to wait until the case is resolved.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The PayPal case is closed in favor of the seller because I did not file it under a correct complaint status. I filed under billing dispute and misrepresentation of product received because there was no fraud category for this type of event transaction. This is why I turned to the BBB. I would definitely accept a full refund when Vacations Made Easy is informed that the PayPal dispute has been closed.

      Utilized Vacations Made Easy for hotel reservations. notified 50 hours that prior to entering hotel reservations were cancelled. Impact entire trip of shows scheduled contacted Chamber of Commerce and was then sent to Better Business Bureau. Need help soon. I would like the hotel reservation that I had.

      We purchased a boat ride and we were in South Myrtle Beach for a vacation. They offered a dolphin cruise and we went online to pay for it. We were directed to Vacations Made Easy. We were under the assumption that they will give us a voucher. After we paid for it, they directed us to go to a place in South Myrtle Beach and pick up the voucher. We assumed where we picked up the voucher was where we would get on the boat for the cruise because they never gave us an address of where to go. We were not informed of where to go. We arrived at 5:15 pm and they were having computer problems. They sent an email at 6:46 pm and the boat left at 6 pm. Then they sent us on a drive to North Myrtle Beach, it was a 30 minute drive, We were 6 minutes late and the boat was taking off when we got there. We asked if we could book it for tomorrow. They said no.

      They won't refund our money. We would like a refund. We were misled, we don't live here so we didn't know about this.

      Bought 6 dolphin cruise tickets. Guaranteed to see dolphins. Went on cruise no dolphins seen. Called they offered second cruise. Went on that, again no dolphin sighting. Called again, they told us they again could only offer another cruise, we were leaving that day. We offered to compromise for a voucher for the next time we visited, they said no only within 7 days. This is in no way a guarantee, families cannot stay in Myrtle beach forever, nor could we continue to go out on 2.5 hr cruises day after day. We would like for this company to compensate us to follow through on no dolphin sighting. Not only did we not see dolphins, the only wildlife we did see was birds. This company is a sham.
