  Here in California I just paid $303 for a simple E-File personal tax return. In town here you can get it for $203. Which I feel is price gouging the American People. Needs looking into. Maybe a cap on prep fees might be called for.Shame on you ***** Block. I should of checked with the BBB and read your reviews before using you. 65 year old disabled American

  Was disrespected twice by the receptionist. I'm sitting here right now as she talks to a lady dropping off her taxes. She said anyone who sits and waits for an appointment has nothing better to do with there life and that's sad. I cannot believe how this female just treats the customers in the building

  There ability to provide the service they are selling does not even rate a minus 5 star. And their customer service is lower than that. I have been trying to get a return phone call for the last 4 months from 4 or 5 different offices. They will give a time window they have no intention of keeping. The last call was to the corporate office on 1/12/23 filed a complaint and the young lady I spoke to gave me a case # and said the (retail work center team) would call me in 3 or 4 work days. I'm still waiting along with the other half of dozen calls I've been told I will get.

  Since HR Block went to downloads only (no disk) the software is junk. Eight (8) phone calls to support and no resolution. Over 8 hours wasted on phone. I have used this tax prep software for 30 years without a problem, never called support. Now it is trash. What idiot had the idea of getting rid of disks. Should be fired. Thank God for TURBO TAX! Bye bye HR BLOCK!They need a new CEO/President and Bd of Directors, they just **** up the cash and do nothing anyway.

  Totally upset with H&R Block. Tried for 2 weeks to e-file my 2022 return, only to be unsuccessful. Attempted over a dozen times and tried to get with customer service 9 times (only to be disconnected when I presented the issue to a customer service rep). ****** at ********************** has any idea of what's going on or when it will be fixed. Took my services elsewhere and I will not be returning to them.

  I'm using H and R block, this year because i'm using 2 states, I normally do my own taxes, but I was'nt sure how to do 2 states. I started with one tax repairer and he was really good. The next day he was out for several days, then I got a new person that didn't want me to come into the office. She stated that she dosen't see well, so why is she doing peoples taxes. That sounds like a scam, im going today and look at what's been done before i sign. I have what you would call a simple tax, but the fees are outrageous!!!! They are charging me $318 + 39.

  Hr block is false advertising they charged me 208 dollars to do my taxes and had me under the impression that I was receiving cash advance. And isn't making good on it. I could of did my own taxes for free on the app and received the refund on the same day as I payed for in office. Wen you type in hr block refund advance it takes you to screen to make an appointment for the office. Did all that checked the refund advance on paperwork in office and wen they wer done said you get refund 20 days I could of did my own taxes for free and gotten the same date for refund. And hr block isn't making good on it. I will never refer anyone to them and I will never use them anymore.

  Fraudulent fees and surprise and unnecessary fee upgradesstarted my return and stopped it at the end went back into same return less than 12 hours and my fees were different! I was using the same deluxe version and instead of my fees staying the same for the same ********** increased from $30 with state return free to $100 for both federal and state return in less than 12 hours of me starting and going back into my return this needs to stop its fraud and price gauging! H R Block are ripping us off and they have been getting away with it too long!

  I filed my taxes with this company I came into get a replacement emerald **** that I never received and was treated horribly the workers were yelling across the room saying why would someone send her here and you can tell her were not helping after I paid them to do my taxes
