  I gave the business my taxes a week before they were due. On the *** THEY WERE DUE, they call and say that they couldn't do them and I needed to pick them up. They stated they couldn't file an extension because they don't have a POA. That was bogus because other CPA's have done that for me in the past. They told me the manager would call and discuss this with me. I waited a few months before posting this review to give the manager ample time to reach out. Never got a call. So now I had to pay someone else more than what HR Block was charging to get them done in a timely manner. Location: ******** and 3, **********, ** *****

  They charged my card $278.00 on March 22nd when I had my taxes done. Called me the day before taxes due to tell me I had not paid so they would not submit taxes. I had to take off work to go over and show my receipts and bank statement to prove they charged me. They had my payment under someone else in their system so they refused to refund me because that would mess up the other persons taxes. I had to pay another $195.00 to them or else they were not going to submit my taxes. They have passed me around person to person. I still don't have my $278.00 back and it is almost July. These people are useless. USELESS!!!!!!

  100% Satisfaction and accuracy claim is a farce. I wish I would have read more reviews before having them submit my 2022 taxes. They were filed with a wrong last name. Initially when appointment was made I requested an update to my file from 10 years ago. Day of, the tax person had my drivers license, and all documentation with correct name. She did not question why name populated from their system was different than all my current information and I did not receive a final review before printing and submitting to discover the discrepancy. Contacted office and given customer service number to call. **************** escalated, wait for a call 3-5 business days. No call, called again two more times. 3 weeks, Finally got a call from a supervisor, admitted fault and offered a partial refund by check in mail. 1 month nothing received. Called again, no notes in file or completion update in system and no call back. 3 months later still no refund. They just flat out lie. This company has been around a long time, and their business practices and terrible customer service will catch up their demise.

  My husband and I used ***** Block's tax professional for our 2022 taxes. This individual was completely unqualified to complete our return. When we tried to schedule a meeting to discuss some of the line items, he was unavailable. We spent WEEKS trying to contact SOMEONE who could answer our questions regarded amounts reported twice and some not reported at all. We were finally put in touch with a "tax professional" at their headquarters. Based on review of our original tax return completed by ***** Block, we overpaid our taxes by more than $5,000. We had to file an amended return and are currently waiting on the *** to provide a refund. In the meantime, we were told that the $279.99 fee that we paid to ***** Block would be refunded. They have completely ghosted **. They will not return our calls nor respond to our emails, and, of course, our $279.99 has not been refunded. Trusting ***** Block to be competent in completing our taxes and be available and willing to answer our questions has been a very stressful and expensive mistake.

  Their customer service is terrible!! My appointment has been rescheduled three times because the tax pro never called at our scheduled appointment time. They messed something up because we received a letter from IRS saying we never paid our taxes when we have confirmation we paid on time. I am disgusted by the lack of response to our situation and would highly recommend not using H&R block for their services. They are awful! JUST DON'T DO IT!

  Messed up my taxes 3yewrs ago still getting fined an late penalties when my taxes where supposed to cover past tax debt and I was owed **** didn't get any $, lost my license for unpaid fines and payed this scummy place extra to cover it taxes where wrong or if I was to get audited their the worst place you can go to an well over priced they lack in skill knowledge an business ethics

  They pointed out a mistake I made on my previous years taxes and said I could get $400.00+ back then charged me $100.00 more and I got $15.80 back. I want my $100.00 back

  Files my taxes in april, or so i thought. Called back may to check on filing and they asked for additional $500 and my routing # to get it which i supplied. Got call dec 27th that my file had been found in the bottom of the drawer and was never filed. Waited 2 weeks for the supposed filing to commence again and was cussed out nonstop about how this was my fault because they werent sure i wanted to file. I asked them to please just file it. Manager threatened to burn my file and also still never filed it!!! Screwed me over completely don't ever make the mistake of putting your information in these peoples hands!

  My fianc filed in March, early March. Weve noticed not only did h&r block change our routing number after taxes were filed but due to them changing the routing number they had to issue a check. When the check was mailed to the physical not mailing address it was not received. Nobody called to tell ** this happened, no email, nothing. We waiting for the check to be returned and have also have filled out the paperwork 3 times to receive the replacement. Suddenly all of our forms disappeared and have not been found. Today alone I have been hung up on 4 times as well as placed on holds and left for almost an hour to be hung up on again. I filed a report against the people I spoke to hanging up on me but the reports lead nowhere. I am someone with disabilities and have no car due to my disabilities. I simply asked for help filling out the papers over the phone with 3 people due to going blind, but was turned away.

  I'm very disappointed with this place. I had them prepare my husband and I 2021 taxes. After everything was filed, we nearly paid over $5,700. I was quite shocked but at the time didn't really think nothing of it. Thank goodness I went to another tax preparer for our 2022 taxes. I had them review our 2021 taxes and come to find out the preparer reported the withholdings incorrectly and over reported! It'll take 5 months to process and now I have to wait. All I'm asking is to get a refund for the fee I paid for their services since I had to pay another fee to fix their mistakes.
