  I filed my taxes with H&R Block and lo and behold there was an issue so the IRS had to send me a verification letter. I called the agent that filed my taxes she was adamant that she was not going to help fix the issue.

  Predatory tax return product practices that force the products into your cart and become unremovable from your shopping cart. There is no way to remove the product without starting your entire filing process over again from scratch.

  I go to a tax professional because they know more about taxes than I do. In vivid contrast to this realistic expectation, Lynn was very uncertain of herself and asked me, inappropriately, several times "Is this how you want it done?" "Does this look right to you?" which of course stripped all confidence in the accuracy of the return. I called back that same day, spoke to Lynn, and told her not to file the return. I have yet to receive a refund for services NOT rendered.

  ****** (******) was the absolute worst! Went through such difficult communications with her bouncing around different offices, never showing up to scheduled appointment, not being in at all due to family visiting her. Shed send emails saying something wasnt done the previous year so she has to work on that. Next sent an email requesting a form for our business that costs $340 yet later found out was an optional deal in the first place. Receptionist of the ************ ***** couldnt even communicate with her. Supposed to have scanned tax papers & handed them back & when we said No, you did not. That was a long ordeal whereas she had them supportively locked in office safe which really was in office file cabinet. Reception had no idea of anything! It was just a crazy wild ride. Luckily we were finally able to get back our paperwork, scheduled & completed our taxes elsewhere within 7 days. If we had stayed wed still be waiting & wondering where the heck this women went to. She never even showed up for our 2nd scheduled appointment stating she had company drop by for a visit. She could of let us know that rather than be at H& R ***** waiting for nothing. This business was just on the nightly news for numerous complaints concerning ***** ***** and we can clearly understand!!

  Absolutely horrible service from start to finish! I filed my taxes online the first week of February. I followed up with my assigned tax expert 2 weeks later and never received a response. It has now been one month and 3 days later so I decided to call customer service. I was transferred to another department where the phone was disconnected. I called back and had to run through the automatic steps again just to be transferred to an associate that told me I could check the status on the IRS website. I then said the status says, "With a tax pro." She finally decided to do her job and simply look up my account only to find that my returns hadn't even been filed. I deleted my account right away and I'll never use them again or recommend this company. Can't believe the lack of professionalism from such a big company.

  Well originally I did my taxes and had a tax pro look at it then send them in but the tax pro I worked with entered my social security in the system incorrectly which resulted in my return being rejected that would have costed $137 total. After my problem with the tax pro I went in the office because I didn't trust having my tax pro originally assigned and asked customer service for advise on what to do and was advised to go in and have my pro look over them in person. I am the one who did my taxes buy for some reason I was charged almost $700 to have the person in the office look them over and then approve them to send them in. I was unaware of the price difference and I'm so mad at the fact that I'm paying someone else this ridiculous amount of money to do something when the only reason I was there to begin with was the incompetent person who originally overlooked my taxes made a mistake on my taxes and they were rejected so I wanted to make sure they had all info correctly face to face. That's a huge amount of money I am being charged $500 more because of the employees that h&r block hire can't seem to do they're job. I signed paperwork but didn't realize the drastic difference until after the fact I called the office and they tell me I am being charge for my forms they sent in for me. Makes no sense to me and I will never ever use h&r block because they are overpriced and I am the one who did my own taxes not them

  Last year I filed my taxes with HR block hear in Pullman wa I paid the fee to have them filed the same day my son had filed his taxes. My son's taxes were filed but mine were not. I did not know they were not filed till later in months to follow when I received a letter from the IRS stating I was being penalized for not filing. I have numerously contacted HR block and talked to several of their people and have even provided documentation where I have had to pay the fee twice to file my taxes. HR block has promised to reimburse the one fee but never have. I will never use this business again. It is not ok to overcharge people and not do anything about it. I am very disappointed in the way this business has handled this matter not to mention the penalties I have encountered.

  Total sham. Told cost would be $200 simple fining for them. When completed, told cost $350. Later found many many similar complaints for H & R block online. Wish I would have looked them up before but they have been around so long I trusted them. NEVER AGAIN. STAY AWAY. SHAM AND LIARS. LESS THEN ONE STAR IS THE RATING I GIVE

  I purchased a 2023 Federal Deluxe Everything went well until I put in $7500 tax credit for new EV Chevy Bot. Every time I would go to main page it had changed my credit to $0. I waited a month for updates and no change. I submitted a claim with Block by mail and they did nothing even though they have a money back guarantee I had to purchase another online tax program
