    I have not had an issue with ADT or the installed equipment. My issue was with the Safe Haven salesman that came to my door and offered the following after moving into my new house:
    1) The smoke detectors can differentiate between shower steam and fire smoke. (This was a blatant lie.)
    2) There was a $20/month discount for veterans. (This was a lie.)
    3) There was a $20/month discount for customers that remain on for 1+ years. (This was a lie.)
    Since I have now been using the system for over a year (with 2 false smoke alarms and fire truck visits), all Safe Haven does is transfer me over to ADT and doesn't take accountability for the promises their representative made. If you want a security system, just go directly to the source. Don't deal with Safe Haven.

    To whom it may concern I had service installed at my new home on 6 October 2023, just wanted to say a few things about your company so far I’m very disappointed, I feel that safe havens sales/advertising is very deceptive, what I understood over the phone with the salesperson was I would get a system for my home with a 49.99 a month monitoring service , I understand or I guess your technicians do work on some commission also. Saying that to say this with an addition of another camera at my back door all in all I would’ve needed to pay your company 500 dollars and some odd change, this I guess wouldn’t be covered with the 500 dollar voucher DR Horton my builder gave me for new home owners. All in all again I feel your company to me sales/advertising was deceptive, if I’d knew this I’d never did business with safe haven and I’d never recommend safe haven to anyone, also the day of the installation the technician was late, and spent over an hour on the phone with his supervisor the day of installation at my home, also after installing my security system my garage door opener was left inoperable.

    If I could give this company a negative star review, then I would have. This company has horrible customer service and then doesn't follow the 6 months buy back guarantee that ADT offers like they should. Please see the information below.I want to cancel my contract as I have contacted your company several times to come and fix the cameras not working and I contacted ADT customer service as well. While on the phone I asked the customer service rep to escalate the issue to a manager and she would not. Her name and employee ID is *******, EMP# ****. I have not been able to get a tech out to my house for months and today I was told that she could get someone out and I would have to pay the $85 fee associated with the tech coming out. I'm not paying $85 when for months I couldn't get anyone out and instead I had a blinking light showing everyone who passed by that I don't have cameras that are working. I have since taken the equipment off my house and need the 6 months guarantee that ADT offers to their customers if they are not satisfied with the equipment or service. Nothing states that I must have a technician come out to my house several times and then of course be charged $85 each time otherwise I must pay an early termination fee before the contract even gets cancelled. What are you guys doing trying to make me pay for service that hasn't worked since June and I contacted you and ADT several times. Yes, I was left voicemails and I called back, and I had to leave another voicemail because I couldnt get a person on the phone.Sincerely,***********************

    I just bought a house and a lady called me saying my realtor paid for all the equipment for free to install ADT. Safe Haven Security came to my house and said my doorbell did not work and said I had to buy an 80 outside camera. i said no and told them to leave and I did not want the service. Then the installer came back in and said the representative would cover the sale. I was so upset, but they were so pushy and would not leave. They told me I lived in the worst part of ******* and if said I did not want to keep my kids and family safe in this area?? I told them no. He then told me I needed break detectors on my windows I said no and I told him I did not want the service it was too much. He said no worries. He told me that I did not have any service just monitoring and really nothing unless I purchased a package. I called my realtor and she said she never paid for any equipment and this was a lie. This is a scam and he never told me after 3 days I needed to cancel. I called on day 10 because everything the representative told me was a lie and my realtor never paid for any equipment and it was a scam. The Alarm app kept freezing up and nothing was working. I am so upset with the service so I cancelled at 10 days. They said I had to pay a cancellation fee after 10 days of $1,600 and some dollar and it was going to be sent to a third party if I did not pay by a certain date. I am so upset that they scammed me like this. I called a rep on September 1 and they told me I would be cancelled and the early termination fee would be waived and apologized for the representatives false statements and service and threats and that they would not leave. They never told me about a 3 days cancellation ever ever and I am so upset. *******************,

    0 stars. The ******* of security companies. This company is a swindling, deceptive, terrible business. They prey on new home owners and the gullible (as I was). Nearly everything they tell you is a lie. Let's start:The pitch: "Buy now! Quick! Free equipment deal, today only. You won't get this again! Let's set up an install date to lock it in. What, price? Contract? You can figure that all out on the install date. Ok now we're here to install. What? You want to read through the whole contract? There's no time to read the contract! The tech is here NOW to do the install! Just sign and don't worry about it!" And then you discover the terms are THREE times as longer than told on the phone, they can increase the price to whatever they want after the first year, and to cancel they want you to pay NINETY PERCENT of the remaining charges. Why? Because the "free" equipment package is a LIE. You are BUYING the equipment, and they increase the charges after year one and deceptively increase the contract length to accommodate the sale. NO OTHER company will use their equipment. If you want to switch providers, congratulations, you have a bunch of useless junk.The equipment: Mostly junk and expensive. They sell you on initial plans that sound great. But all additional equipment is 50% more expensive than any other provider on the market. Smoke alarms are useless. They go off even if I just turn the stove on. So they've stayed off and I've used regular alarms. The service: Oh whoops! They put the panel in the middle of your living room because it's more convenient for the tech to access the electrical. You want it moved? They'll leave a giant whole in the drywall. They will not return to remediate the issue. Calling their service line is absolute garbage. Jumping through hoops to get to your selection. 2 hour wait times. I'm going to try and cancel my contract and will do my best to skip the egregious cancellation fee. I was swindled. Wish me luck.

    We have been having issues with this system since the day it was installed. Which was mid to late June 2023. The issues are the alarm doesn't sound when entering the house to disarm it. From inside the house the alarm doesn't sound when we are arming it to leave the house. It keep showing the system is offline. The video camera is not recording anyone that walks up to the house. Matter of fact, someone came up to our front door at 5:30 am one morning and it never notified us. It just showed up on our phones hours later that a white male with long blonde hair was standing there. We called the guy who installed it, and he came back out and he called his boss and his boss advised "he has installed thousands of these system and this is the first he has ever heard of this issue". He then questioned us about how we disarm the system before entering the house, (as if we didn't know what we were doing.) We called Safe Haven two days ago and was on hold for more than an hour. We hung up and haven't called back since. Mind you the problem is still here. I have another home and have had an alarm system for the past 10 years (not with ADT) and I have never once had these issues.

    T ***** This is company is the worst. The alarm system was recommended by the builder of our new home. Our alarm system is only 7 months old, we have had 4 false alarms from a smoke alarm and can not get Safe Haven to come out and look at it. They want me to get up on a ladder and test the smoke alarm. I am 65 years old with ten foot ceilings I am not going to risk a broken hip to push buttons on a smoke alarm for them but they will not come out to look at it. Also we have to exterior door with sensors the do not work all the time, the batteries are new and still we can not get Safe Have out to check these two door. **************** is not park of the companies view.

    I've been having an issue with my system for over 3 months now. Requested a tech to come out multiple times and was instead given technical support over the phone. None of which fixed the issue. When I finally put my foot down and said no more over the phone, I need someone to come out, they waited until the day my 1 year warranty expired to call me back and schedule that appointment, which I now have to pay for. Then tried to claim they tried calling me back before that, left a message, and sent an email. None of which I have records of. Even ADT said that was extremely shady of them. Highly recommend going through someone else. Seems to be this isn't a company you can trust.

    They do not take no for an answer! They dont honor cancelation within time frame. They push to keep you and they charge your account without your authorization. Be aware of this company. ADT should not be doing business with this company. Terrible customer service Dear *****,I've been consistently receiving emails and messages about an account we previously canceled as per our contractual agreement. Despite this, this company has made unauthorized charges to my account and has ignored our cancellation notice.This entire experience has raised security concerns for us. The contract details were inaccurate and misleading, and the ongoing calls regarding the canceled account are deeply unsettling. It's a clear indication of your company's business practices, intentions, and reputation.I've made multiple requests to cease communication, as we have no interest in engaging with a company that disregards customer feedback and fails to honor cancellation requests.Additionally, I've received emails concerning the return of equipment. However, ***** did not specify the equipment he was referring to not to mention, the security system was included in the home purchase according to our contract with the ***************** builder.

    A sales representative from Safe Haven( As an authorized dealer of ADT) knocked at our door. We recently moved to ************* and it's regrettable to allow the sales representative to enter to our place. He explained about ADT security offers and he was trying to hook us into monthly subscription. Then me and my wife agreed to take a day or so to think about the decision. The sales man tried to trick us into placing a work order. He signed on my behalf and I saw later that he even signed on customer sign. I was shocked and I tried to call him about it. He was nowhere to be found. A pure scam. It took me another one hour to wait in line with safe Haven and cancel the work order. Beware of such scams and questionable business practice. I am reporting this to BB.
