ON JAN 25, 2024 WE SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR COMMERCIAL WASTE REMOVAL WITH CURBSIDE WASTE. THEY TOLD US TO HAVE OUR PREVIOUS GARBAGE COMPANY REMOVE THEIR DUMPSTERS ON 3/1/24. CONTRACT STATED CURBSIDE WOULD DELIVER NEW DUMPSTERS ON 3/1/24. DUMPSTERS WERE NEVER DELIVERED. ON 3/3/24 I EMAILED CURBSIDE ASKING WHERE OUR DUMPSTERS WERE. THE REPLY I GOT WAS "SORRY, ******* (THE REP WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT WITH) IS NO LONGER WITH US. I ASKED WHEN ********* WOULD BE DELIVERED AND THEY COULD NOT GIVE A SPECIFIC DATE. I HAVE SINCE CALLED THREE TIMES AND EMAILED TWICE AND CANNOT GET A RESPONSE FROM ANYONE AT CURBSIDE. IT IS NOW 3/6/24 AND MY BUSINESS HAS OVER-FLOWING GARBAGES AND NO DUMPSTER TO PUT IT IN. CURBSIDE IS IN VIOLATION OF THEIR OWN CONTRACT AND REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY SIGNED IT OR RETURN CALLS.

I had scheduled a pickup of one large item credited to my account when I signed up for the service. I have a five-piece sectional that needs to be taken away and I was informed they would only take three pieces. A scheduled pick-up was made via email for February 15, 2024. I called on February 16 inquiring why the couch has not been picked up. I was told by the operator that there is a ***** hour window for pickup. This was never mentioned to me, however was assured that the pickup would happen by the end of the business day on February 16, 2024. The pick-up never came. I called on Monday, February 19 2024 in the morning to ask why the pick-up had not happened even though I was assured it would be picked up. The operator told me that the pick-up would happen by 3:00pm and her records show the driver was "on the way." At 3:15 pm the pick up had not arrived. I called again and spoke with the same operator. I asked why the pick-up was not happening when she said it was going to happen. I was assured pickup would happen before the end of the day (7:00 pm) on the 19th. At 7:30 pm the pick up had never happened. I have been disappointed with the level of communication between Curbside employees, management, and myself. I have not been given any explanation as to why it has been 3+ days other than their scripted responses that I have now heard on three separate occasions. Yet, nothing has changed.

On 11/28/23, a curbside representative came to our door offering a deal on their services if we switched garbage companies; after reading the fine print, what I was verbally told was not accurate. I sent a certified letter on 11/29/23 canceling the service; however, cans were delivered to our house on 12/6/23. I immediately called and requested the cans be picked up, which they said they would do on 12/8/23. I have called every week since then because they have not picked up the cans with a promise they would that week, but they never did. After numerous requests to speak to a Supervisor, I finally got a call back who stated they would pick up the cans either 1/24/24 or 1/31/24, but they were never picked up. In talking with the Supervisor, she gave two dates stating the driver was at our house to pick up the cans, but they werent out, and if we didnt return the cans, they would start the garbage service. I reviewed security footage from our camera for the dates she gave me of 1/10/24 and 1/17/24, and curbside was never at our house during the times stated. In addition, I work from home with my office facing our driveway; I never saw a curbside garbage truck. I have done as the company has asked regarding the cans and do not know what to do from here if they refuse to pick up the cans and threaten to start a service due to their error in delivering the cans, to begin with, since I complied with their cancellation policy and have confirmation they received my certified letter. I am requesting these cans be picked up immediately since it has been almost 2 months of this company not following through on their promise. This is Curbside's error in delivering the cans to begin with.

I called Curbsite Waste to talk about the new bill I received for ******* and Feburary (They charge for every two months) and wanted to know why my bill was $30 more than previous months. They stated there was a verbal agreement made in March of 2023 for a year, which I am not aware of. If I would have agreed to a one year deal, then why are they charging more now? They have done this every year in ******* with no explaination or prior notification. I told them to cancel my service as I will be going with a different company from now on. I told them I would expect a new bill reflecking what I really owe for one waste pickup on ******* 2nd, 2023. They also stated that there will be a $200 cancelation fee which they never shared with me nor is it stated anywhere on their Website. I have seen others post complaints about a $100 cancelation fee that they charge others. I told them to pick up the container and send me an adjusted bill for the one pickup. The representative was very rude to me. Threatening me with additional charges and made it almost imposible to cancel my service. I will not be paying the $83.01 bill or any cancelation fee. If I do not get the satisfaction I deserve, I will go to court and make them come clean on their policies. I do not like to be threatened. All I want is to be done with Curbside Waste and their rude representatives. I have paid their bills on time for their service every two months as long as I was with them. But I am on Social Security and have a disability. I am also a Veteran of the ********** and I do not need to be treated this way.Initial Complaint

We switched garbage companies to Curbside in November and canceled our current service effective 1-1-24. New cans were supposed to be delivered no later than ***** (Ive called twice in the last week to make sure we would have new cans), and we have nothing. I was assured twice that cans would be delivered, and we are stuck with nothing. We would like to change to a reputable company, cancel our agreement and receive a refund for the 2 months service we wrote a check for.

Promised to pickup garbage and yard waste cart on Nov. 7. Pickup date has changed multiple times and carts are still here as of December 12. Request business to remove carts from my premises.. I have called several times each week to confirm whether they are coming or not and if not when.

Last week our recycling wasn't picked up. Service was delayed due to the holiday so I called on Monday to see if they could pick it up. I was told that it would be picked up on Thursday with our normal garbage service. It was not picked up on Thurs. so I called to let them know. They told me the drive did indeed pick it up and I told them no I have my cameras showing he only picked up the garbage. They then told me it was too late at 3:20pm to request another pick up mind you the first call was at 11am so they told me it would have to wait another week as they don't have a drive in the area. I said that I just saw a driver on our cameras drive by our house less then 2 mins ago. I said that I wanted to cancel my service and was told I was under contract and would need to pay a minimum of $200. When sold the service one of the reasons we choose them was the salesman promised there was no contract and we could cancel at any time. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that they didn't have one on staff and I "might" be called back in 24-48hours. The initial call I was told that my bins were blocked which was untrue as they are on opposite sides of the driveway then I was told they were over flowing also not true as the lid was closed. I was then told that if it is over full that they won't pick it up even though we are now going on 3 week of recycling they told me that that was a risk I would have to take. How can a business act this way to it's customers.

I signed up for garbage services in December of 2020 and was told $28.00 for 2 months of service and guaranteed for a year. After a year, the price was almost doubled. I called again and talked to the owner? He agreed to continue the $28.00 for another year. After 4 months, my bill more than doubled! I called again, this time they would only agree to $31.50 for a year even though I was told $28.00. After 4 months my bill then went up AGAIN! To $38.02. I paid it as I figured it wasn't that much more. Well, after another 10 months they raised my bill again almost doubling it!! This time I called and the best they could do was lower it to $44.36 and told them I would have to cancel as I just cannot afford this anymore. The customer service rep then told me I would still have to pay the bill and they have to have 30 days notice! And, they would also charge me for picking up the garbage container!!!! I informed her that I was NOT going to pay them as I could not afford it and will be ending service! At this time I have only had my trash picked up twice during this billing period. When I started to ask her questions and to verify what she was telling me, she then hung up on me! So, I have now decided to give 30 days notice of which I emailed to them TODAY. My service will end on December 14th. I then prorated my current bill and submitted payment of $34.51 to them for the 7 weeks of service I will be using during the 30 days. I am NOT going to pay the remainder of a bill for service I am not using. I have also repeatedly been charged a late fee by this company for a bill that is due less than a week after receiving it in the mail! I want to make sure that my balance is now "0" and I will be receiving service THRU December 14th, 2023 and NOT charged to remove their trash container. My customer # is **********

I needed to cancel my service because my association is providing trash pick up from another company. If it wasnt for that, I would gladly continue with curbside. When I called 2 weeks ago to cancel the representative told me that I needed to pay a $200 cancellation fee because I have a contract. I told them that I never signed any contract. And if there was such a contract, please send it to me. I called back today to try and cancel again. They said my service was canceled but my bins will not be picked up until I pay the $200 bill. I reminded them that I never signed any contract and inquired about them sending it to me. The representative told me that they have not done it yet but they will do it Monday. This is not a good business practice. Im being forced by my association to cancel so if there was such a fee, it should be waived. Or bill it to the association. As a matter fact, when I signed up for service with this company, the representative made me come on BBB and leave a positive review, screenshot it and email it to them before they would give me a lower rate. That shouldve been a red flag at the time but I agree because I wanted that lower rate. Now that Im trying to cancel I finally see the writing on the wall.
