As other complaints state, this company does door to door sales with high pressure, and then claims the quote they provided was a service contact that cannot be cancelled. After a year of spotty trash collection, they doubled our price and claimed our 'contract' had an intro rate, and that we would not be able to cancel. The *** I spoke to claimed a manager would call, which I am still waiting for. They have been unable to provide the 'contract' that we allegedly signed.

A young lady came to our door and sweet talked us into switching from our current service at Dicks Sanitation to their service and they were giving us great rates and a great deal. Delivered our cans way ahead of time. Provided us our first service...then missed the next pickup. When I called they claimed someone came that morning. Nobody ever came. They scheduled a separate pickup. The following week they came and then didn't come again after that. Sitting with garbage for weeks now. REGRET switching over. Call to try and talk to someone and I am caller #**. Does not surprise me. Cancelling my service today.

I am rejecting this response because: I had reached out before this issue and both times was lied to about my pickup being made. Also, both times, neither party seemed to care or seem empathetic to the fact that they had not done their job and tried to tell me that I needed to pay them $200 to cancel a service that I barely had. They only picked up half the time leaving us with piled up garbage for 2 weeks. I want full cancellation with no fees and I also want the $50 fee that I had to pay to my previous garbage to cancel with them to switch to Curbside that Curbside said they would pay and did not. Plus the $35 I had to pay to get my old service back.

I am rejecting this response because: This is absolutely not true. Curbside claims that my name is not the name on the account, YET they just sent me a bill less than a week ago. Not to mention, I am the ONLY name on any accounts at the property. I have 5 individuals who have not hopped on board with the same issue. Curbside went around our neighborhood begging for us to switch garbage service. Sadly, we all did. And we all had the same issue. They picked up once and didn't pick up the second time. 3 of us had overflowing garbage because we had to wait for someone to come out and remove it. The first time it happened, they lied and said it was picked up. Even gave a day and time that the driver did so. This was a lie. My husband is home all day and we can see all activity on the street. They never came. Sent a driver 3 days later. Next service was picked up. The service after that was NOT picked up. Called again. Lied to and told they were there. Then admitted they were not. This time they didnt send anyone out to get the garbage picked up. When I called the young man almost seemed like he thought it was funny! Nobody wants a service that only performs 50% of the time. Because of this I have cancelled my service with Curbside and gone back to my original garbage hauler. Curbside thinks I am going to pay them $200.00 to cancel my service and that is insane. I am not paying a ***** for a service I only got 50% of the time. And everyone I talked to has told me about their bad experiences as well. The only resolution I will accept is to be 100% done with them and $0.00 owed. This is your scam. Deliver cans, work 50% of the time and when you upset people, force them to pay you $200 to leave. Not happening. I'm done with this service and I am not paying you anything. And I will take this to channel 5 if you keep harassing me for money.Initial Complaint

A door to door solicitor came to my home representing Curbside Waste in early August. He told me the price for waste removal which was attractive, he also stated that I would NOT be charged for yard waste for this year since I already paid my other service provider. He also stated the cost for yard waste removal would be $200. I agreed and signed the paper he had assuming it read the same as what he told me. My bad I did NOT receive a copy of that contract at the time. I was billed $99 for yard waste removal for this year. I called the company 4 times to try to get resolution. They sent me a copy of the contract that did not match what he told me. The first 3 times I called I was told it would be reviewed & someone would call me back. Nobody did. The last time I called I was told that it would be put on the action list for the Manager to review & I would get a call in 2-3 days. That was two weeks ago.

We had door to door sales person misleading by total cost of service. We cancelled the service immediately. After cancellation problems picking up the containers. I have called numerous times and everytime the answer was they will be out today. We have a city ordinance that containers cannot be left at the end of the driveway empty. Very unreliable company.

This all started when we got "sold" a service from a door to door salesman that came multiple times a week. Ended up agreeing to the service on the spot, and that was where the mistake was. I did more research, online and from a former employee of a different waste company that said they had shady practices, and that he would recommend just sticking with our current company, even though it is at a much higher price rate. I tried contacting them via the "contact us" form they have on their website to cancel. I never received a response as they "never got anything" on their end. Regardless, I got a bill via email for the first month. I emailed back and said due to customer service, I wanted to cancel, and that I tried contacting them previously but got no response. In their contract, it says there will be a $50.00 cancelation fee if the service was canceled due to price shopping. It wasn't, it was due to customer service reviews and my own personal experiences. Reporting to BBB was one of my last options after getting threatened that this will be reported to collections if I didn't pay the cancelation fee. It must also be noted that these bins were never used at all, as I tried contacting them prior to them placing the bins at my house, and got no response.

Pricing practices are unfair.There was not a promotional rate for one year. I have my copy of the sales form and the contract. There was a 6 month promotional rate (free), and then $25 per month thereafter.There was a 1 year price lock. And I expected a minimal price adjustment. Bit my cost was doubled.Deceptive pricing practices:- 0$ for 6 months (promo)- $25 per month thereafter (1 year price lock)- Increased to $50 per month as soon as the price lock expired. - Then offer me $30 per month because I called concerned about the increase. -$200 cancellation fee if cancelled within 2 year contract period. - These are deceptive pricing processes and I can longer in good faith continue a business relationship with this company. Therefore I am asking for my $200 cancellation fee to be returned to me.

Door to door solicitor for curbside sold us on switching waste contractors. Curbside delivered bins months before current provider contract was up so we had bins removed and communicated the correct change over date. Curbside bins were never delivered and so we stayed with current waste company. Although Curbside has never provided waste pick up they have been sending bills. I have contacted them by phone and mail explaining we don't owe anything because they have never provided any service.

A sales *** stopped by and said they would email me a QUOTE. Instead I was emailed a service agreement stating service would start on 9/1 with service fees. I did not authorize starting this service. I only authorized a quote. I do not want this service and am not paying for it.
