Just this past Friday Jan. 20, 2023 my garbage trash didnt get picked up. I called on Monday Jan 23 asking about why it had not been. I was told that I had an overdue balance of like $500 and had not paid since Oct 2021. I had signed up for autopay and was never aware of my **** card being expired as this issue would have never happened. I explained that I never once got an email, phone call, or billing statement letting me know this issue. I have talked to two customer service reps and then asked to talk to someone higher up. This person left a voice mail for me today stating that Id have to still pay 417 and would remove 2 late fee charges to unlock my account. Im appalled that your company would not contact customers when cards on autopay dont go through like every other business. Im requesting that my bill be cleared and the late fees as well to continue business with you. Id be gladly able to give my new card number for future service. I think this should not happen to other customers and have them expect to pay in full once their accounts get this large.Business Response

I renewed my contract with Curbside Waste in the fall of last year. I made sure to ask if I would continue to be on autopay and verified my bank info with the customer service agent helping me. When my next bill came due it was not taken out by autopay. I called and paid by phone, re-established autopay and verified my bank info. Again, when the bill came due it was not taken out. I called again and repeat the steps. Somemtimes my wait time exceeds *********************************** sometimes I get an answering machine which no one returns calls from. This has gone on and on wasting a lot of time both for myself and the customer service agents I work with each time. Each time I'm told they fix it and each time it is not working. I have been unable to find anyone willing to look into it further or let me talk to a manager. Paying by phone each time they don't fix autopay is not an acceptable solution. I finally tried sending an email and let the company know if no one responded I would have to file a complaint with the better business bureau. No one has responded. So that is what I'm doing today. I'm done wasting my time and done being given the run around and tired of chasing them to pay them.Business Response

My service with Curbside Waste, Inc. ended at the end of 2022. They said they would be picking up their carts between January 2 and 6, 2023. They did not. I tried to call them about this on a Tuesday, but the wait on the phone is always well over ********************************************* the queue. However, their phone queue had a message saying to email customer service and they would respond in ***** hours. So, I tried that. By Friday, well over 48 hours later, I had not received a response to my email. So I decided to call again and wait in agony on the phone for them to answer. After 30 minutes of waiting on the phone, they finally answered. As I was stating the issue, they hung up on me. Luckily, they called right back claiming phone line issues. I again stated the issue and began stating my address, and the call dropped again. They called back. This happened two more times, but the last time they didn't call back. I again emailed the company telling them the issue and what had happened on the phone and how it had wasted a lot of my precious time. I again pleaded with them to collect their carts. I have not yet received a response. I never thought it would be so difficult to simply try to return someone's property to them. I just want them to pick up their carts ASAP.Business Response

We moved to ******** from ********* in June, 2022. I have repeatedly called their customer service to cancel our ********************** service. The people I have spoken to have told me that we are cancelled....and yet they keep sending me bills. It is absolutely ridiculous that I cannot cancel this.Business Response

This company is suddenly out of the blue claiming they can't drive up the driveway and pick up our garbage. I'm going into my fourth year and it's never been a problem. If you look at customer reviews you'll find they have some of the worst ones out there. This company makes things up ***** nilly and stops and starts delivery services at the drop of a hat. When I emailed them they claimed they don't do drive up in the winter. 100% false. Never had a problem before. Clearly the culture there is to make things up and say what you want when you want. Neighbors on Nextdoor also are saying they are the "worst" and have a very spotty record. How do you sleep at night? Terrible. This company needs to resume services AND give me a credit for last week's "no show" without cause. Who reviews and answers their emails? They need training as well. I am rejecting this response because:
Talking about it won't change anything. I need a refund for last week and the garbage picked up this week and going forward. If there is a bad snowstorm that is fine. We can skip it that week. Otherwise, talking about it opens it up for more excuses by Curbside Waste. I will reiterate I'm going into my fourth winter here and garbage was being picked up each winter.
Please resume picking up the garbage. Thank you.

We purchased this property in July and called to have trash bins picked up. Phone call hold was for 20 mins and when they finally answered they hung up. I emailed on 7/25/2022 to have them remove trash bins since we were not going to be using their services. Bins were full from previous owners. They answered via email on 7/27/2022 that they would pick up and didn't. They wanted bins empty of trash, but they were full when we purchased home. They wanted us to remove trash because account was closed. We didn't have tenants yet and therefore no waste mgmt company. Where would we put trash? In a customer service driven world - they could have won my business if they would have just picked up the bins with trash. Until this day 12/6/2022 bins are still at our rental property. This time the bins are empty. They have been left at curbside like they asked but were never picked up. We would like these trash bins to be picked up.Business Response

About 4 months ago I began having issues with Curbside picking up the garbage. Multiple weeks were missed and I was continuously told it was due to construction in the area. There was constant access to my house and road during the construction. Further, I was the only Curbside customer in the neighborhood and I was the only one in my neighborhood to have missed pickups. After weeks of this I finally switched to a different service provider (which had no issue completing pickups).I canceled service with Curbside at that time (this was about 2 months ago) and requested they come pick up the bin (which they were notified was still full of garbage going back 3 weeks due to their lack of service).The bin has been sitting in my driveway, at the road, since that time. I have contacted Curbside no less than 4 time and have been told each time the bin would be picked up within a week. Curbside has made no effort to follow through with these statements and I have run out of recourse other than this, and eventually reaching out to the **** of commerce to file a complaint.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Curbisde followed though with removing the bin today, so I will be marking this as resolved.
However the response from the company completely dismisses what a hassle this has been and misrepresents the situation.
Ultimately this issue has been going on since July. I have contacted Curbside on multiple occasions, early on to advise them how to get to the house during construction and that the construction crews were making sure there was access on Mondays for garbage removal. Also, there was no mention by any rep of the company, when I have contacted them, about access issues, just assurances that it would be resolved asap.
After 4 months of dealing with this issue (very patiently I would add), it has taken filing this complaint to get anything done.

I have been a residential trash customer since April 2022. In the six month I've been a customer, ********************** has missed seven pick up's of my trash. That's about a 30% fail rate. In contacting them about the issue, each time they are very slow to respond. They have never come to get the trash the next day and have never issued me any sort of credit. There are plenty of waste providers out there. Stay away from Curbside.Business Response

Curbside Waste has had my credit card information for over three years yet they locked my account and refuse to pick up my trash saying that my card was declined. Impossible. My bank has never informed me of any account problems or declines other than out of country purchases nor are there any bank fees charged against me for declines or overdraft. My bank also has a service that informs me if my account goes below a certain amount. That service has NEVER been used or needed. The ********* I talked to at Curbside was much more interested in arguing than resolving the issue. She even read me my credit card numbers which I verified and her interest was still only wanting to argue rather than resolve. I am handicapped and feel curbside tries to take take advantage of that fact by assuming I am feeble and unable to defend against their oppressive billing practices. My only recourse is to find another hauler which raises two additional problems. Curbside wants to charge me over $100 to collect their garbage cans and I have prepaid for lawn trimmings removal paid on the exact credit card they say is has been declined. I am at a loss for what to do next.
