  We had 15 windows and 1 patio door installed. We signed the contract in June ********************************************************** October. Their measurement verification tech came out several weeks later and took measurements. October came and went without windows. Finally, they scheduled installation the week before Thanksgiving. Then they cancelled it the morning of the scheduled date due to some window parts had not arrived. A new date was set in December. The patio door and 4 windows were installed. The remaining 11 were sent back cause they were mismeasured. The patio door screen was not included with the door. Installation of the remaining 11 windows was scheduled for ******** That date was cancelled due to weather. Finally, on February 10th windows were installed. The 3rd party subcontracted installation crew was on time, did a great job and finished early that afternoon. However, once again, the patio door screen was not included with the order. Hansons business office called about 10 minutes after the crew left and we were told that someone would come out on February 28th with the screen. No one showed or contacted us. We called and new date was set for March 6th. Again no one showed up. Finally on March 21st the screen was delivered and installed. From our experience, communication seems to be an issue for Hansons which was confirmed by the subcontracting installation crew who said they were separating from Hansons due to the number of errors made by the measurement verification tech and their own communication issues with the company. We are happy with the windows and door as they seem to be well made. They have decreased the outside noise infiltration and will reduce our heating/cooling costs. They just need to improve communication between themselves and the customer and communication within the organization.

  ******** explained construction of the windows we wanted. Tech came out and professionally measured the windows. We ordered late fall and graciously abided by our request to delay install until Spring. We had 48 windows professionally installed in 2 days, which included all caulking and trim. The crew did a marvelous job. Cudos to ***** ******** for their hard work and dedication. We love the windows and really gave our home the curb appeal it deserves. I would highly recommend them for any project you have to tackle.
