I receive multiple calls a day from different numbers all claiming to be easy adjustable beds and that they have my entry. I have asked them multiple times to stop calling me and continue to receive spam calls.Business Response

I'm filing this complaint on behalf of my grandmother, her phone number is listed in this complaint. This business has been calling her repeatedly, sometimes daily, at 8:15 in the morning, despite several requests from us to be added to the Do Not Call list and being told that this number was added. Just to ask if she had received their mailing with the information on how to enter a sweepstakes, which is a completely pointless phone call. It is bordering on harassment, and taking advantage of the elderly. I would like to actually and permanently have the number listed here be added to their Do Not Call list.Business Response

A minimum of 3-6 calls throughout the day are coming in after I have picked up the calls from "Easy Rest" "ER Adjustables" and "ER systems". I told them to remove me from their list and stop calling mid-year - so about May - June 2023 and the calls persist and almost have increased with frequency. Please help me!! I purchased the adjustable bed from this company 8 months ago, and ever since I purchased and started using the bed it’s been making my back pains even worse. I’m a 67 year old woman who has sciatic nerve pain in my lower back, and I was approached by a recruiter from the company who knocked on my door and started informing me about the company and the benefits of the adjustable bed. I informed them of my back condition and they told me the adjustable bed would help relieve my sciatica pain. Well, $5000 and 8 months later my back is in even worse condition than before I purchased the bed!!! I’m barely able to get out of bed and need assistance from my family. My daughter’s even slept in my bed a few times and complained about her own back hurting afterwards. I’m paying these people $150/month and I’m NOT satisfied with this bed at all. Then, when I actually reached out to the company about this issue..they told me that I need to “turn the bed over” every 6 months. That’s ridiculous, and I’m an elderly woman. I can’t turn over the bed on my own, and it’s not going to make anything better by just turning over the bed back to back every 6 months. I can’t continue to keep paying on a bed that’s causing more damage and harm to my body more than helping and relieving pain. I deserve to be reimbursed/refunded if not all, adleast partial of what I paid for the bed. I spent $5983.77 on a bed 2 yrs ago, where the mattress has caved in on the side, Already! I was promised a Lifetime Warranty, but these people basically laughed at me each time I called & complained. They also claim to have No record of my complaints! Also, I paid for a bed frame that charges my iPads. That stopped working almost immediately. Also, theres this horrible bar at the base of my bed, preventing me from tucking in any of my sheets, or bedskirts, or blankets. Im 68 yrs old & only 4 10 tall & 100 lbs. Ive had problems with this bed right from the beginning, but Nobody was interested, once they received my money. Im Still paying $1100 on a loan, for this POS bed, that I bought 2 yrs ago.. When I told them that my old, 20 yr old bed was more comfortable than this, & that the side of the mattress Shouldnt be collapsed bcz Im Only 100 lbs, & Im All alone, the guy had the Nerve to say that he didnt know how I sleepimplying that it was My fault that his crappy product was defective. And suddenly, that Lifetime Warranty became a prorated lifetime warranty! NONE of this was explained to me when their salesman was in my home, pressuring the **** out of me to buy his awful product. As far as the bar, he told me that I can remove it myself. How am I supposed to hold up a mattress, while trying to use some kind of screwdriver, to unscrew this bar from the mainframe? Thats when he told me Id be charged $350 for Them to remove the bar! . My life has been a nightmare ever since I bought this bed, bcz I have severe cervical neuralgia & double vertigo, & am extremely weak, so fighting to keep the blankets on the bed, & being So uncomfortable bcz of this horrible mattress, has been an Awful experience! I honestly believe that I was given a defective mattress. Either that, or these people produce an inferior product & then prey on elderly fools like myself. On July 17, 2023 a man came up to my door. He is selling adjustable beds so I let him in and dont know why. I told him to start with that I had no money for the beds. He was at my home for over 2 hours. He would tell me about the bed and then he would call someone who was supposed to be his boss he would talk to them and then tell me to talk to them. They would make me an offer and I would have to refuse because the money still wasnt there. After several such calls I finally accepted and bought a bed. The bed was delivered on Friday July 24, 2023. On July 31, 2023 I called to tell them the bed wasnt comfortable. They suggested that I turn the mattress. But I wanted the bed picked up. As stated in our previous response, we do not do door to door sales. All of our appointments are made in advance with our customers and there is more than one conversation with the customer confirming the appointment.
I am not sure why there was a insurance attachment to this. Our contracts clearly state that we do not accept insurance.
At any point while the sale representative was meeting with the customer, she could have said she was not interested.
Due to health and hygiene laws, we cannot pick-up a bed. If we do, it must be disposed of.
A service ticket has been opened and the customer will be contacted so that we can do a mattress exchange.

I would like a mattress exchange, however if they can do a mattress exchange, why cant they pickup the bed frame. The mattress would have more germs than the rest of the bed. I am not ready to finalize this complaint. I did tell the salesman repeatedly that I could not afford the bed. If and when I made an appointment, I did not know how much the beds cost. That was the first thing I asked the salesman when I let him into my house. I dont want this bed.

We can not pick up a customers bed for any reason and resell it due to health and hygiene laws. Base and Mattress.
The consumer had more than one opportunity to cancel her order which she did not.
The customer accepted delivery on July 21, 2023. It was not until 10 days later that we heard from her stating that she did not like the mattress and wanted the bed picked up.
We informed her we would do a mattress exchange as we do want her to be comfortable with her purchase but that we do not pick up the beds.
This to us feels like more of buyers remorse than an issue with the bed. Had the customer purchased a car or a washer dryer the same rules apply.
When you sign a contract and are given a cancel period, if you do not cancel within the timeframe and have take deliver which the customer did they assume financial responsibility.
Again, we will do what we can to make the customer happy with their purchase, but we can not be responsible if the customer is changing their mind.

Consumer is a Senior. Consumer purchased the bed about a month ago. A salesman came to the consumer home. The consumer thought she was being sold a bed for $1800. She signed paperwork for $4500. Consumer was told the bed was adjustable. The salesman demonstrated a bed that went up and down. The consumers entire bed does not go up and down. Only the foot and head go up and down. The consumer needs for the entire bed to go up and down. Consumer called the company, Consumer told the entire bed does not go up and down. Consumer feels the bed was misrepresented, Consumer being charged $350 for service call. The service call is too expensive for the consumer. Consumer has not been using the bed. It is too high. Consumer is a Senior. Consumer purchased the bed about a month ago. A salesman came to the consumer home. The consumer thought she was being sold a bed for $1800. She signed paperwork for $4500. Consumer was told the bed was adjustable. The salesman demonstrated a bed that went up and down. The consumers entire bed does not go up and down. Only the foot and head go up and down. The consumer needs for the entire bed to go up and down. Consumer called the company, Consumer told the entire bed does not go up and down. Consumer feels the bed was misrepresented, Consumer being charged $350 for service call. The service call is too expensive for the consumer. Consumer has not been using the bed. It is too high. She is unable to get into the bed. She has been sleeping in a recliner chair.

I called easy rest adjustable systems today and I spoke to someone by the name of Jeff. Jeff said that they could send a truck down there but it would be $350.00 more to repair the bed.
