5/19/25 I expected an estimate/quote and was sort of railroaded. The sales *** talked rapidly and before I knew it I was signing my name. I thought it was about if I was approved for financing, and evidently I signed before I had the chance to review the terms. The deal in the advertisement in **************** was 60% off and 18 months deferred payments. I have no idea if I got that. I did not say that I was going to hire them to ***lace my bay window, but I was told that it was a done deal before I realized it. I was also told that the *** on the financing would be 9% and its 23%. I could charge my credit card, half the interest rate, and still have thousands in credit left. I asked how long I had to cancel and was told three days. Today, 5/20/25, I presume is day one. I have called a number of times the phone number in an email from quality assurance/sales manager and cannot reach him. He wont call me back. ****** ********.

Transaction Date: 12/10/24 Transaction Amount: $24,000 Problem Areas: Misleading Sales Practices: Noise Reduction, quality, installation, satisfaction guarantee. Home damaged during Installation: Refusal to fix, no accountability/ communication. Abusive behavior: after several attempts to have issues fixed, tech verbally assaulted my wife and lied. Damage to interior and exterior - installed molding around door without instructed to do so, removed but damaged wall which cost ?? and time to fix, over cut my siding now we have water damage to my home and water leaking inside. Improper calking which is cracked and all over house. Poor installation - windows and sliding door FAR too tight in frame - hard to open and close. Dont shut properly, can hear exterior noise, sparse foam insulation. Poor sound mitigation - can hear exterior noise as of windows open but are closed. Non Communicative/ combative - Ive addressed Issues with *********** but no one willing to step up and help. Say theyre going to return but dont. After damage to siding local manager ****** ****** said my siding was recalled and should be replaced anyway so theyre not going to fix it. He actually said this. Im seeking accountability and to have this company re-install their product properly and not only fix the damage theyve done but also fix the underlying problems their damage has now caused. NOTE: I have a full video of the technician taking off window casing to show theres spray foam. I included a couple snapshots. But as you can see its basically dribble. They missed a bunch of gaps and the casing was letting in water all around. This is the same quality of work all throughout the house.

      Complaint: 23341940

I am rejecting this response because:

#1 - Weve been down this road with Window Nation before. They come out because I escalate the situation and then they dont do anything.

#2 - Even though they installed the windows too tightly which makes it difficult to open and close them, they told me its too expensive for them to re-install any windows and simply wont do it.

#3 - ****** ******, of Window Nation, area sales manager, is quoted in the email I attached to the complaint here that they are not willing to fix the damage to the siding.

#4 - I need assurance Window Nation is going to not only come and fix all the aforementioned issues in the complaint case, but also not send installers who are going to just argue with us and tell us everything is fine when its not fine.

#5 - I will keep this complaint open until: (a) Window Nation comes and resolves every one of the defects Ive previously listed which were caused by their careless installation team, (b) cover the complete costs of having another company step up to fix them, or (c) credit back the full costs associated with the original purchase agreement I have with Window Nation.

I am rejecting this response because: Window Nation claimed they will reach out to me before May 27th in their first response - THEY NEVER DID. I have called Window Nation several times since and they have not answered my phone calls or responded to my voicemail messages. Theyre dodging their responsibility in this matter. They have not responded at all since their initial message after saying that they would. This is the dishonest company that I am dealing with here. They do not want to make things right. If they dont reach out and make things right before the end of June 2025, I will be taking legal action against Window Nation and the damage claim will be far greater than what I paid them.

Window Nation is using one of the robocall companies to contact me. I receive 4-5 calls a day and some times 7 days a week. This has been going on for over 3 months. I have asked to be removed from their call list. The individual in the phone tells me they have done so, but I continue to receive calls. I have blocked every phone number associated with these Window Nation sales calls and text messages. But still get calls from new numbers.I dont even own a house. So why would I even buy windows?!?This company has been harassing me for months.

We bought windows in September of 2024. After months of runaround and "delays," we finally got our windows installed in January 2025. I won't even bring up how much of a headache that was because we did get them installed even though it was a terrible experience.Problem is they messed up 2 windows. Then, they pressured my wife into signing off on the project and said they'd come back to fix the 2 windows.I have followed up continuously with the company, been told they ordered the corrected windows, and will come and install them. It's been FIVE MONTHS since they installed the incorrect windows. Finally, SIX WEEKS ago, they said they would install today (5/10). I followed up with the installer on Tuesday to confirm today would be the day. Nobody has showed up or returned my calls. Just sitting here waiting with my 40 week pregnant wife. It's obvious this company doesn't value customers or stay true to their word. They even pressured my wife. We have been so patient with them but I have run out of patience. I am going to do whatever I can to get our problem fixed that we paid a lot of money for.

Window Nation apologizes to our customer for the lengthy delay in resolving their concerns.  We pride ourselves on resolving any follow-up service needs quickly and effectively. We regret that this has not happened in this case. Window Nation immediately reordered the correct windows, unfortunately they were backordered by the Manufacturer. We have since received the windows and our customer is scheduled to have them installed on May 17, 2025.   Window Nation's team will continue to work with our customer to resolve their service needs.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: although we are finally getting our windows installed, it was not until after I finally badgered the company enough to force a response. And, the screens did not come and are not expected to arrive until 4 June. I would not say this project is not even close to acceptable until we have screens installed... which has not been scheduled.

Also, the statement from Window Nation about "immediately ordering" correct windows is a blatant lie. When I talked to a local manager over 7 weeks ago, he told me he ordered the windows because an order had never been placed. This was after the sales rep I normally talked with no longer worked at the company and I stopped receiving updates. Nobody ever communicated to me the windows were backordered. Instead, I was ignored and stood up... why would I get scheduled multiple times if the windows were backordered - and only rescheduled 3 days after I reached out to the company saying nobody showed up.

I do not believe I should pay for the entirety of these windows... not the way we were disrespected. I do not consider this issue resolved because Window Nation has repeatedly not held up their end of the bargain.

      Sincerely,

      ******* *******

The windows are freezing up on inside, missing caulking, and some of windows didn't even meet energy codes for ********, mismeasured between 1.5-.5 inches, windows so small, wrong ones ordered there's literally only a couple inches of glass, unable to remove ************** of icy windows were sent in Feb., *** came out said he needed to use temp gauge, as it was nice the day he came out. I waited a month and a half, he never came out again when it was cold.In-between that time I contacted Milgard for copy of window order and the City of Greeley for energy codes. I am the one who did research and found out some of windows didn't meet energy codes, not them Obviously they have to replace ones not even meeting energy codes. But refuse to come out and remeasured dispite them being 1.5 inches to small.ALL the other windows freezing up, I have been told that's my problem as there is no way to prove it, even though I have sent pictures to them.i want all windows replaced as they ALL had ice on inside of home. I would like them remeasured properly, as I was told *****, the professional measured for Window Nation, was fired for not doing his job. I feel Window Nation is responsible for their employees performance They have came out three times for same problem. First I was told; 1/2 not acceptable, then 1/2 inch is acceptable and in most recent visit 1 inch difference is acceptable. All while industry standard 1/4 inch.I feel installers didn't do there job, as windows are freezing on inside, caulking is missing on a couple windows, windows installed crooked, measured didn't do his job as windows are mismeasured and he was fired, windows were ordered incorrectly energy codes not met and windows have only couple inches of glass.Supervisors come out but do nothing, but change there standards. This has been a terrible experience,.ALL windows are freezing and ALL need replaced, after properly remeasuring ALL windows. Please help. IN December of 2024, I had 9 new windows installed. During the installation, they brought the wrong window and still installed it. It is a frosted glass and was put in the bedroom. They then broke my siding in two different places. They have come out to attempt to match the color, however, nothing is close. I have not heard from them since December on that matter or replacing the window. They then came out two weeks ago to fix a window downstairs that had already broken and would not stay up. I then come upstairs over the weekend and find that another window in my office is doing the same thing. The top window will not stay up when the one latch is unlocked. The other latch does not work and is not even making contact with the seating of the lock. I am also having squealing coming from the master bedroom windows whenever I open or close them.

I am rejecting this response because: First of all I was here for my last appointment from 12-1 just like I was told. I received call from the tech saying he would be here in 10 to 15 min. However that was at 1:50 PM. I had to leave for work by 2:00. He then went on to tell me that he had down that his appointment with me was set for 1:00-2:00. Which was a lie. You will see that in the message I was sent by email and text. I have attached the text message for reference. Also when I spoke with the manager **** yesterday, he stated that the rep was stuck in traffic. Why lie about when you were supposed to be here? Also when I told **** that the window that was put in wrong has not been replaced he was confused. He said that he was under the impression that had already been taken care of. Thirdly the fact that I have had to have so many people come back out in only four months for repairs is very upsetting. Paying such a large amount of money to have this work done right and it wasn't I hope when **** comes out on the 12th that we will be able to not only resolve these issues but come to an agreement that I should not have to pay the original price due to all the errors.

I ordered a Patio Door from Window Nation on September 6, 2024. Before ordering from Window Nation I had four companies come and quote me on this door, We had specific requirements for this door and prior to Window Nations quote only one of the four could meet them. When Window Nation arrived I reviewed our specific requirements. The sales person, ***** ********, stated they could meet all of our requirements plus color, etc. We signed a contract for the door and awaited delivery. Installation was delayed but finally occurred on November 7. After the door was installed I noticed that of our specific requirements, internal blinds and grids, only the grids were provided. I contacted the sales person and after several conversations I was informed the specific door I ordered could only have one or the other. Evidently the sales person was not knowledgeable of the products he was selling. Window Nation eventually offered a $1200 discount for the mistake. They sent we a change order to sign via DocuSign, which I did. After a few weeks I contacted the sales person to find out the status of this $1200 discount but he never returned my call. I sent several emails to **** ****, **************** ***** ********, and their Customer Care department I received a response each time from the *Customer Care department that someone would respond in 24- 48 hours. I had 4 windows replaced end of January 2025 by Window Nation because the 2 rooms in which they were replaced felt cold all the time, even though the heating system was always being maintained - I have a contract to have this checked on a regular basis. I find with the new windows, there is absolutely no change, same results as the previous windows. I mailed a certified letter to Mr. **** ****, CEO and President of the company on February 21, 2025 - copy attached - explaining the situation. I have not gotten a response. I followed up with an email - I did not keep a copy - to inquire why I did not receive a response, same result, no response. I am not happy with these new windows, they seem to be very inferior with thin glass where you can feel the cold coming through.

Window Nation apologizes to our customer for the lengthy delay in resolving their concerns. We pride ourselves on resolving any follow-up service needs quickly and effectively. We regret that this has not happened in this case. Window Nation did receive a call from our customer on February 20, 2025, requesting a service to have the windows looked at due to them being difficult to open. Window Nation set a service date for the customer for March 13, 2025, and then received a phone call from our customer on March 3, 2025, canceling the service. Window Nation has opened a new service for our customers and has reached out to them for scheduling. Window Nation thanks the customer for allowing us to resolve the issue.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The issue with the window not opening smoothly has absolutely nothing to do with my complaint. The complaint, if they take the time to read it correctly, they will see that I STATED there is cold air coming from the bottom of the window when it is closed and also, when you place your hand on the glass, it is very cold - this was during the cold months when my original letter was sent to the CEO. This company has a tendency not to return phone calls, you can never get a straight answer and you can never get to speak to **** ****, the CEO of the company even though he keeps sending me emails to recommend prospective clients with a promise of cash rewards, etc. In addition, you are placed on long holds and you really do not know who to call because there are 2 companies involved in the process.

      Sincerely,

      ***** ********

All the calls they claim to have made I was unaware of, besides, I have a phone recording system where they could have left a message and I would

have returned the call, however, I finally spoke to ***** and an appointment is scheduled for April 15, so I will have to wait and see what will be the result after

the appointment after which time, I will contact BBB to confirm whether the problem is resolved. Thank you

2 years, coming up on 3 years ago we got new windows in our home. The first round of windows had major issues (leaking air, damaged, poor install, etc.) Window Nation offered to replace all the windows, they did so and we had more problems, they offered to replace the windows for a third time and the problem was not solved. We decided to let them try one more time replacing all the windows for a 4th time, and we still have air leaking everywhere, snow and ice building up inside the house, major temperature differences at the joints, etc. (I have all sorts of documentation and proof of all of our issues) I have reached out to WN and explained that we are requesting a full refund since for the last almost 3years they have failed to provide us with good working windows, which is what we paid for. Since I have reached out, they have given me a number of excuses on the lack of a response, the person I need to talk to is away on vacation, now they are trying to catch up and have not have time to look at my issue, new staff that is yet to be caught up on my ongoing problem, etc. I would like to get in touch with a lawyer and start taking legal action but I have no idea where to start. We took out a loan to pay for these windows and have been paying interest on them for almost 3 years and honestly our 25year old windows we better than what they provided us. On top of all the material issues, WN failed to pull permits, failed to provide any documents or specs on the windows (I asked several times), and I have to continue to track them down and stay on top of them to get anything done.I would like to file a complaint with you and ask that the BBB point me in the right direction as far as getting legal help.I have uploaded as many pictures as you allow but I have a bunch more pictures, videos, email exchanges, etc.
