On July 2, 2025, Window Nation installed 7 windows. One of the windows was in my kitchen above my oven. When I ordered the windows, I was told that I did not need to move my oven. I had specifically asked the salesperson about the oven since he said I would need to move all curtains, rods and other items within 4 feet of the windows being replaced. It is a slide in and I would not be able to move it myself and considered not replacing the window. He said I would not need to move it.On the day of the install, the installer placed 2 boards on top of the glass stovetop and covered it with a tarp. I assumed he did this to distribute his weight and not break the glass top. After he had completed his work, I found cracks on both the upper and lower portion of the glass top. One crack splintered from the downdraft across one of the elements. I immediately spoke to the ******* who looked at it and referred the incident to a boss. I received a call from Window Nations install manager, *******, to discuss the incident. I called several appliance stores and was told the glass top had been discontinued by ********* and they did not have a replacement for it. I relayed all the information to *******, and he said to find a comparable oven and send him the quote. My oven is a Jenn Aire slide in with downdraft and it vents to the outside. There are only two companies that make this type of oven, Jenn Aire and **********. I did send a quote on an oven that was less than comparable and did not have the downdraft feature but did not receive a response and that particular oven is no longer available. I decided that I should have a comparable oven instead of trying to get a lesser replacement that would not be vented to the outside as my kitchen requires. I have requested status on how Window Nation was going to resolve the damage issue and Window Nation has remained silent. I need Window Nation to provide monetary compensation to replace the oven they damaged.

Window Nation sincerely apologizes to our customer for the extended delay in resolving their concerns. Window Nation spoke to our customer on September 3, 2025, and requested a quote for the stove top. Once received, Window Nation has agreed to reimburse our customer.  ********************** greatly appreciates our customers' patience and looks forward to bringing them a complete resolution.

On 08/22/24 I had Window Nation replace 5 windows and a sliding glass door in my home. The door and kitchen window were not custom-built to the agreed-upon measurements, contrary to the sales presentation and website. They damaged the window casing when removing the kitchen window so, they nailed wood in front of the window to create a new casing. The window width went from 23" to 21" with nails sticking out of the wood. The sliding door opens a mere 21". They cut the carpet during the install and never tacked it down. The bedroom window frames were bent and caused air to seep through the cracks and whistling sounds on windy days. The siding below one bedroom window was damaged. I contacted the company numerous times starting on 08/22 and had appts made for repairs on 09/13 (*******), 11/13 ******* and 01/23 (****); however, they just took notes/pictures of the issues with a promise to follow up. On 03/21 ****** and another man came to fix the issues. This resulted in dents/paint damage around the bedroom windows. (but did tighten the window) In the kitchen they took the nails out of the wood, so instead of a bunch of nails protruding it has a bunch of holes. They replaced one side of the sliding door, but it still only opens 21". Then *** came on 04/04, again not to fix anything just interrupting another workday. On 6/12 ******* sent me a text stating he could replace the Kitchen jamp/casing along with replacing the door and I need to pay the full final payment. These repairs were requested the day of the original install and in countless calls/emails and 5 additional people interrupting my workday. I was told if I didn't pay, I would go to collections, yet I have never seen an itemized bill and the work product is subpar at most. I will be taking those funds to replace both the window and door as well as fixing the damage that they caused. Window Nation has had plenty of chances to make this right and I refuse to work with them any further.

Window Nation regrets that our customer feels dissatisfied with their experience. Our goal is always 100% customer satisfaction, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. As the customer noted, ********************** did offer to address all reported issues and performed a service visit on March 21, 2025. In addition, we continued outreach and extended a $3,000 discount on May 20, 2025, which the customer declined. Despite our efforts, the customer has refused further service appointments. As a result, Window Nation has written off the remaining balance on the account. We remain committed to resolving this matter hopeful of reaching a positive resolution

In January of 2023 we purchased a whole house of windows for about $15,000. As part of a promotion, we were given a code (which had to be redeemed to start the process within one year of purchase) to redeem for a vacation voucher which would partially pay for lodging subject to a list of restrictions. At the time of requesting a reservation, a $100 deposit was required. We completed and submitted the required paperwork within the eligible time-frame to request a booking and made the required $100 deposit. Received a confirmation e-mail on 3/6/2025 that our reservation request would be reviewed and we would be contacted by e-mail. Never had another contact. Sent follow-up e-mails requesting help - no response. Called the local Window Nation on at least three occasions and after being shuffled through a couple people, was repeatedly told we would receive a call back within 24 hours. Never received a call back. Requesting the average cost for a 7 night stay in *********** for the size of the group we had requested within a similar time-frame (based on vrbo rates), less the $349 co-pay for the week that was noted in the condo paperwork. Also requesting reimbursement of the $100 deposit that we paid.

Window Nation apologizes for any inconvenience our customer experienced while redeeming their promotional item. We have agreed to reimburse the customer the $100.00 they paid and have contacted the third-party provider to reach out to the customer directly. They will coordinate with the customer to provide updated travel dates that suit their schedule.

      Complaint: 23735376

I am rejecting this response (in part) because:

I accept the return of the $100 deposit that I made. However, I have no faith in the business practices of the third party provider and can not be assured of the quality or actual existence of any reservation they may make. After the initial interactions with them, we had zero further contact and no help from Window Nation. Being provided with funds to book my own trip is the correct solution and the only way to ensure that I receive a proper accommodation booking. I fear showing up and not actually having a reservation and/or being provided with less than desirable accommodations after the filing of this complaint.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *******

Window Nation appreciates the follow-up request from our customer, but would like to point out that the contract clearly states that there are fees involved. Please see the attached document. Window Nation hopes that our customer is able to work with the third party and come up with an amicable solution.

      Customer Answer

      Complaint: 23735376

I am rejecting this response because:

I never disputed whether there were fees involved in the condo rental. My dispute is based on (1) the complete lack of Window Nation's third party to fulfill the condo request and further providing no contact whatsoever after our attempted booking and repeated attempts to reach out -- first to the third party condo provider and then to Window Nation, who repeatedly promised a contact within 24 hours and then never responded; and (2) that I had to pay a $100 fee to even attempt to reserve a condo, which I was never able to do due to the lack of any communication from the third party/Window Nation. Therefore, I continue to request the refund of the $100 fee, and the comparable trip cost compensation for the promised promotion that was not provided.
      Sincerely,

      ****** *******

I am rejecting this response because:

Window Nation is not addressing the main issue of the complaint. Please refer to the original complaint details and the requested resolution of the unfulfilled promotion. In addition, I did not pay the $100 reservation fee with a gift card and request that you mail a check to me to refund that amount.

      Complaint: 23735376

I am rejecting this response because:
Window Nation continues to not address the main issue of not fulfilling the promotion due to the lack of responses/contact by both the third party and Window Nation when attempting to address the issue of their third party not responding. We do not wish to work with the third party as they have proven very unreliable, and we have no faith that any trip booked through them would result in our actually having accommodations when we arrived at a destination. Further, the earlier BBB response from Window Nation indicates they contacted the third party and requested they coordinate with us directly. We have not received any contact from the third party -- again -- and reiterate that attempting to have the unreliable third party coordinate a trip for us is not an acceptable resolution.
      Sincerely,

I originally contacted this business for an estimate on a window repair, not a replacement. I stated clearly in the email that it was for a repair and that if Window Nation did not do that kind of work, they are free to ignore the email. Despite my telling them I've already hired somebody else to do the work, and to remove my name from their calling list, they called 5 to 6 times a day. Remove my name from your call list please

In April of this year I had a consultant from window nation come to my house to see about installing new windows. At the end of our discussion, I asked about the weatherization program and was told me there are funds available to help lower the cost of the windows. She proceeded to tell me that her parents were able to get 90% of their windows paid for through funding. She gave me an address of the community center to go to after the windows were installed. After the windows were installed I called the community center rather than drive there, the woman that I spoke to told me there were no programs at their center that could help me reduce the cost of the windows. I reached out to the consultant of Window nation, she sent me other links and numbers to try and call about funding. I called the numbers and one was crisis services, Others told me I could not be helped because my windows were installed already and I would have had to *** use their companies. I again reached out to the consultant and she told me she didnt understand and that other customers have used them to reduce the cost. By this time, I was annoyed because I was misled by her to buy the windows from window nation. I called Window Nation and spoke to someone in the office in July. I explained the situation to him and he asked me to forward emails that I received and sent to her and he would look into this and get back to me. That was July 8th and have not heard from him. This complaint is because I was misled to buy windows to get a sale. I tried links and numbers that she sent me and I am unable to bring down the cost for these windows. I am very disappointed with this company. I was given information that was untrue by saying I could get 90% of the windows paid for, very misleading!! I was not anticipating this high cost loan to pay, because Ibelieved what window nations sold me on. I would like this to be resolved and pay 10% of the windows like I was told!

Window Nation would like to sincerely apologize for any confusion that may have arisen during our recent sales presentation. Window nation made false promises to us to get us to purchase windows. We were told we would receive $100 gift card which we did not receive and incurred charges for instead. Biggest issue is they promised us 6 months no payments but we had to make payments within 30 days and ended up getting a derogatory **** on our credit due to a billing error. We did not get 6 months to make payments. Synchrony charged 1st payment immediately. Window nation has failed to respond to me

I had "Window Nation" replace an "Alside Sliding Patio Door 6100 with a lifetime warranty" for me on 10/24/2011 for $2149. After a few years we had trouble locking and unlocking the door until the door was adjusted higher on the end that goes into the frame. After doing this for years I realized the bottom of the frame was coming apart and sinking down on that side, so the frame was letting in the rainwater and air from outside. I contacted "Window Nation" about this who informed me to send them $150 to start a claim for them to look at the problem, which I did. They came out 11/1/2024 and agreed the frame has a problem, so he put shims under the frame and caulked the frame and said they would get back to me, which they never did. After many phone calls to "Window nation" they got back on 5/27/2025 and said the claim is closed and nothing else they will do. On 6/23/2025 I started a claim with "Alside #********. On 6/27/2025 I received a denial e-mail from ************** I called numerous times and had to leave a message to have someone call me so I could tell them exactly what is going on with the frame. One of the phone calls, they told me the person who denied the claim is ******* who never calls me back. I was also told the Engineers will never talk to me . I am just trying to get the frame replaced so my rugs stop getting wet, and the cold air will stop coming in. I am trying to get the door /frame replaced. I also started a complaint with "******" about this.

Window Nation has agreed to replace our customer's door, but has explained to them that they need to hire a general contractor to replace the rotted wood before the door is installed. Window Nation will continue to follow up with our customers until a solution is reached.
