Dear Better Business Bureau,I am filing this complaint regarding a recent purchase from ******** (via [platform name]), order number PO-090-*****************.The product is the GWENLAND 4.65 cm Full Screen Smartwatch Pro, which was explicitly advertised as waterproof (IP68) in the product description. This claim is entirely false. After wearing the watch for a short jog in light rain, water entered the device, causing it to stop functioning completely.This means the product does not meet the description provided at the time of sale and constitutes false advertising and defective product delivery. Under consumer protection laws, this is considered goods not as described, and the seller is obliged to issue a refund.When I contacted the sellers customer service, I was met only with repeated template responses refusing to process a refund unless I returned the product despite the fact that the product is now entirely non-functional and return shipping would be unreasonable and unnecessary in this situation.Key issues:1. False representation of product features the waterproof claim is untrue.2. Failure to honor refund obligations for defective goods.3. This is not a first time Temu charging the hidden cost, when the items I picked go to the shopping cart, with the stated price, I used calculator to add all prices together, my subtotal result always lower than their system showed by at least $20-$30 differences , then when I clicked check out, their subtotal changed even higher by another extra $5-$8.For example: If I added all the items total in the shopping cart $452.59 before tax, and Temu.com showed me the subtotal $476.60 plus tax, when I clicked check out, it changed the subtotal to $501.36 plus tax. This is obviously a scam, when I questioned them, this is what they told me:"The prices of Temu's items are influenced by several key factors, including supplier costs, market demand, and current market prices.""To maintain competitiveness, we regularly adjust our prices based on market fluctuations."But this is not a stock day trade with the price going up and down in a second, even right now I checked it's remain the same, they just sneaked out and increased the subtotal and most people didn't noticed that. I found out this not the first time, and I spoke with them before, they couldn't even explain why their price suddendly changed when I check out.I hope BBB investigate this matter and take action against this type of dishonest business operation.Business Response

I ordered a beautiful vanity for my daughters birthday, it says my package was delivered, I was gone was so excited for her to get it. Got home my package wasnt here, I called ***** they told me call temu, I have contacted temu about this several times, they call me a lier and say it was delivered in which it was not and refused to give me my $230.00 back, I have have called them and chatted them so many times. The carrier stated my package was left at my back door I do not have a back door. The only evidence is a generic photo of a package in an unknown location, which does not prove delivery to **** provided Temu with this information and proof, yet they claim the merchant reviewed the case multiple times and refused to change the outcome. I would, however, like to note for Temus awareness that this was not the first time I experienced problems with their delivery service. On multiple occasions, packages have been left at the wrong address or not delivered to my door. I encourage Temu to review its delivery practices or third-party carriers to ensure that future deliveries are made properly and securely.

I made a big order to get a promotional deal for four 27-gallon crates for free. I received a tiny package with a credit card holder for the tracking number of the crates. I also received a package addressed to someone else with one crate inside. Seller acknowledged all this happened, but declined to ship the remaining three crates. Temu customer support said to request a refund and send the one crate back. Then BUY the four crates again. They cost $45 to $60 dollars on their site. Temu offered me a promotion to share the link to their site with 5 friends and have them download the app/use my code to confirm theyve successfully approved my invitation and the app did not record any of my actual progress (I had OVER 5 people sign up) and had to spend nearly $100 to participate in the event, only to be told I had no successful invites (even though I was physically present to witness one of them) and that I was not eligible to receive the prizes I earned.Business Response

I ordered some cups in Temu ,8/4 ,total $34.78 , 8/7 received. When I got it the package outlook is ok, when I open it, the cups are broken and cracked and cut my finger.They didnt have enough protection for the cups inside.When I ask Temu to refund, they didnt refund all of my money, they just refund about $13-18. But all cups are broken and cracked I throw away into trash can ,Temu wants me to return it so they can do refund. I placed an order for a doorbell camera, because Ive been in a domestic violence relationship and Im having surgery THIS Monday August 11 at 6 am on my back, I wont be home for awhile and the manager insisted everyone get a doorbell camera because this is an apartment complex. Well they delivered and placed it on the outside door of the complex and I NEVER saw it. This is the second time these people have taken money from me and they delivered it to the wrong address. I fought with these people (very poor customer service) for 3 MONTHS! before they gave me a refund. Kept telling me they were creating tickets which to me is a stall tactic from giving you your money back, but every time I tell them I DONT WANT a refund and they REFUSE to RESEND the items at their expense! This is the last time I order from this company, its just too stressful and I have a heart condition. I also ordered an underwear and bra set I havent received either they have a note that the carrier couldnt reach me, but mind you Ive been home 3 days in a row and my bell hasnt rang nor have I received a phone call. These people REALLY NEED TO GET BETTER DELIVERY practices. When people live in an apartment complex, they know better than to sit a persons items in hallways where EVERYBODY HAS ACCESS to stealing peoples items. Especially when youve been a loyal customer for years! Im literally sick of these people and their UNPROFESSIONAL **************** practices and I really wish you get in their behinds because this is outright ridiculous! Temu gave BBB the run around. Avoided the situation at hand, that was not applying any of my credits. They will avoid it Everytime, they have done it twice. 2 different events. They refused to answer straight up. I spent way over 300 dollars on 2 different events but my credits weren't applied to neither event, 2 different events u won 100 00 on each.
