      I received a call and a letter from Mediation Recovery Center the week of 7/27/2023 claiming I owe $970.04 (MRC Account # *********. The original creditor was National Durable Medical (acct # **********; the current creditor is EMS Funding Solutions. This is the first time I have heard about this, have been billed or called about this alleged debt, which is from 2019. MRC has my phone number and address, therefore the original business, National Durable Medical, and EMS Funding Solutions all should have been able to contact me regarding the alleged debt in the four years since 2019; when this alleged debt occurred.I contacted my insurance company (Healthsmart) and we conference called MRC. The lady at MRC (*****) was rude, could not explain the charges and mentioned that this would be put in my credit report. She hung up on us and we had to call her back to let her know I am disputing this charge. I am not even sure MRC is legitimate, when we called the number on the invoice, the person that answered did not answer the phone as a business. As mentioned above, when we called back we got the same person on the phone, which is very unlike a legitimate business.I received some vague information from MRC in an email, this information mentioned my knee surgeon from 2019. I contacted the surgeons office. Their representative stated that the business owner that is trying to collect this alleged debt has contacted dozens of the surgeons patients to coerce or scam them into paying bogus bills. In addition to the BBB claim, I will file a claim with the ******* ************************ for consumer protection. I believe this also falls under Arizonas Surprise Medical Billing laws.Please review this complaint. If MRC is a legitimate company, their resolution should be to dismiss this bogus claim and close the account.

      I received a phone call from this company stating they had an account from ************************ 2017. They claimed collection was validated then and was turned over to them for mediation and if not resolved would then go to legal for garnishment. They could not tell me the original debtor. Only EZ money and that it was a sub company of them. Would not send me any mail or email and that they were only hired to do a verbal agreement with me to settle. I have not. I refuse to pay something that I have no proof of. This is so strange.

      You have the wrong company. The company you are talking about is most likely Mediation Services(aka Mediation ******* Services) which is not us.  They are located in **, and we are in ********. We do not have a consumer's name or phone listed in our database. Their tool-free number is ************ and their website is www.mediationac.org. We get complaints all the time in regard to this agency. If you need help dealing with them, please give me a call at ********************. I have been giving out an Attorneys name and number that can help you deal with them because they are breaking the law. The Attorney is free.  They are a consumer advocate attorney which help consumers deal with these kind of issues.  We record all calls from a third-party phone service and would be more than happy to prove we did not call you. Please give me a call or respond and I will give you that attorneys name and number. Sorry for the confusion

      Received a call and then a letter out of the blue from Mediation Recovery Center alleging a debt for a medical bill. Like others I see in the list of complaints against Mediation Recovery Center, they claim I owe $444.12 to a National Durable Medical. I have requested proof of such debt as I have never dealt with National Durable Medical and never received any invoice from any such company. I am now getting harassing phone calls from Mediation Recovery Center, but no such proof of debt has been provided (because there is none)

      Today I get a call which I thought was spam but it was about a bill from 5 years ago with my doctor I have used several times since 2018. I have not had any notified of such a bill. When I looked up the statement they are trying to charge me ***** for a keg compression device that should cost ******* dollars **** I have contacted the bill they say I owe money to and I have no claim on file with them.

      I received a letter on 7/27/23 from Mediation Recovery Center dated 7/17/23 requesting payment in the amount of $5,995.00 on behalf of National Durable Medical. I have no idea who National Durable Medical is nor have I ever received any correspondence from National Durable Medical previously. The letter from Mediation Recovery Center does not even list a date of service. I also have good medical insurance, if this was a legitimate bill and if I had received a previous invoice from National Durable Medical, I would most certainly would have reached out to my health insurance company for payment.

      Getting phone calls & now a letter wanting $446.18 of a $557.73 bill that I have no clue what it is, when it happened, or who it happened with. It is just a scam as far as I can tell

      I received a phone call last week and a letter in the mail today (07/27/2023) from Mediation Recovery Center claiming I owe $1086.87 to original creditor National Durable Medical, their account #*********, The account # for ********************** is #********. They list a current creditor as EMS Funding Solutions. They offered a discount offer of $869.50 to pay off account. I dispute this claim altogether. I do not owe any money to any of these providers and pay all of my bills on time. I went online to National Durable Medical website and entered the above account number and showed that it was an invalid account number. I also checked my credit report by Experian and it showed that I have had no hard inquiries on my account nor do I have any accounts sent to a collection agency. Please look into this as I suspect it may be a scam. Thank you.

      We received this account from a company called EMS Funding. They took over the billing for the company National Durable Medical. We reached out the to the consumer concerns the account we have that was for a medical device. I can send the documentation we have directly to the consumer if they would like. I put the account into a disputed status and informed the client EMS Funding of the dispute also.

      Mediation Recovery Center has been calling relatives and sending letters regarding a debt that is absolutely not mine. I dispute it and will provide them written notice of such. Its interesting that they include a BBB A+ rating at the bottom of their letters when theyre clearly not endorsed by the BBB.

      MRC tells me I owe $444.12 for a medical devise from over five years ago. I have never received a bill from any company in these five years for payment of any medical device for my surgery. The man on the phone offered to cut the bill by $244. if I paid over the phone. I refused to give him any financial information. I asked for an itemized statement. I received a bill from MRC in the amount of $444.12. This company sound pretty fishy to me. Is this company legitimate?
