  Disappointed. The first person we used was great! Since then, I've tried at least 10 others and it is the same routine- they schedule the job and cancel...sometimes within an hour of the scheduled time. Leaves me high and dry. ******************* But they can charge me if I cancel but no consequences if they cancel. Frustrating experience.

  Of a total job cost of $365 before taxes the ****** revived $255 and TaskRabbit charged $110 an unbelievable fee in excess of 40%!! A bunch of scam artists charging these fees. The Trust and Support Fee is total BS!!!

  Task rabbit ads a surcharge hourly, that is initially presented as a 1x fee. I wish I could post the review with 0 stars. Do not use- this escalates the hourly rate excessively- by 25-100% per hour! ,And the customer service to resolve this is very poor.

  There should be a 0 star option for this fraudulent business. The happiness pledge is a complete scam and eventually it will all unfold how horrible the company is at providing customers resolution.

  NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! Their taskers don't do the job as required and then they send you crazy bills and automatically charge your credit card. You can't do anything about it after the fact.The ****** can submit a charge for basically any amount and when you speak with Task Rabbit customer service department its someone in *************** who won't do a single thing to help you, basically telling you tough luck. This is robbery! Don't give them your credit card info and don't book anything with this company.

  There should be a ZERO star option.I scheduled a job to put an IKEA piece together.At 3:50AM in the early morning before the ****** was scheduled to be at the job at 8AM that morning he sent a text that he was sick.Later that day he contacted me to reschedule........Bottom Line, once we rescheduled he just did not show up to do the work. No text, no call. There were other workers whose schedule had to be shifted around to coordinate with the ****** (************) that day. Their day was shot when he did not show up.Of course Taskrabbit has no way to register a complaint. They offered me $10 off my next task. Yeah, right, like I would ever use that garbage organization again.DO NOT USE TASKRABBIT!!!

  DO NOT USE! Whatever you do! warning PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR CREDIT INFORMATION ON THE **** AS TaskRabbit ALLOWS scammers to charge your credit cards recklessly! A ****** by the name *************************! came into my home to install (garage door opener, 2 small pendant light, & kitchen cabinet handle). He was informed of maximum installation charge time 2-3 hours charge time. If he is able to complete the task; he said yes. DO NOT USE ANYONE BY THAT NAME ON THEIR PLATFORM AS THEY STILL ALLOW HIM TO BE ON THERE. TaskRabbit, allowed this man to charge my credit card over $2,000! For something that did cost more than $400! When they were notified of the fraudulent charge! they informed me someone from their POLICY TEAM! would help resolve this and credit my card, there is No POLICY TEAM! NO ONE WILL GET BACK TO YOU! Except give u run around! Call wait time takes forever and no help. They will just send you emails that someone from policy team will get back to you! THEY WON'T. HE did not complete my task; destroyed my property. I now have to *** him/TaskRabbit to be able to get my money which was stolen from me. Please, please, please save yourself the headache, stress, and frustration. THIS APP IS NOT WORTH IT. TRUST ME. I normally do not leave reviews even if it was bad service. This one needed a review as this has been THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Please save yourself please do not use and believe all the reviews you read! I made a mistake and did not read reviews prior to going on the App if I did I would have saved myself from this scammer promoting platform TASKRABBIT. If I could leave 0/5 stars I would.

  Not Recommended!This app has an additional Trust and Support Fee on top of their ****** fee. My latest job was a paint job. I paid over $200.00 for the job and the Task and Support Fee was $100.00. This fee is excessive and almost half of the fee for the job. There is no way I will continue to pay this fee. The painters on this app are sub par and not professional painters. I recommend you hire a professional painter outside of this app. Avoid the headache.

  Do not use this company ever!! Hired a ****** to replace a toilet seat with bidet. On the profile, it said he has the experiences. I provided the link of the product beforehand. He came and performed the installation. The next day, my basement ceiling started leaking. Thought it was coming from the rain at first, but later, discovered the bathroom was flooded. Found out, the ****** didn't fasten the jolt (screw). Something that should be done easily but he either was so incompetent or distracted (he was one the phone when he was working) . My ceiling basement was badly damaged and had a huge hole. It cost me $800 to patch and need another $500 to paint and etc. Task Rabbit denied the claim, even though I provided all the supports, pictures, proof of payments, and emailed from the contractor. Task rabbit refused the responsibilities by saying my contractor didn't use a professional letterhead and by now, it's already too late to send them anything else. All they offer is $150 credit. Really??? For what?? I have no intention to ever ever use them again. This company is really a scammer, especially misleading customers with their 'happy' pledges. What a total BS!!!!!!

  They delivered one couch from a store one hour away and transported 1 couch, room divider and an armoire 20 minutes away. I asked them to move a coffee table and a grandfather clock into another room. They said their hourly rate was $36. They charged me for **** hours worth of work which was fine. They charged $71 for gas, then they tacked on an extra $375 because there were 2 steps and I asked them to move 2 pieces of furniture into another room. Total for moving very little furniture was $674. Complete overcharge and ripoff. This is a fraudulent company. It's a total scam.
