      1 star is to much. I have a bank statement where on 8/17 i made a payment to cricket on 8/18 my phone was shut off so i paid an additional *****. **** of which was reactivation charge. I got a text message saying that my bill was due on 9/17. There should be a ***** credit. And my phone will be shut off at midnight. I can't get any help either in stores or from customer service. I have the bank statement proving it was paid twice. And cricket does not care or will the correct thier mistake.

      I think this company is totally unethical. I paid cash for my phone service didn't work at home(data) went to a different provider they refuse to unlock my phone unless I'm with them 6 months. So I can't do anything with it ever.

      I have been with Cricket for several years. I would love to understand why my cell phones are unlocked. I just bought a SIM Card last week and immediately my phone was hacked into. I began to start downloading my apps and I could see that it was hacked into. This an alarming storm as it keeps me vulnerable and every client you have that this product you are selling is not protected. It keeps a paying customer vulnerable and exploits our rights of privacy. Now that my phones are ALWAYS unlocked, I can pull my SIM card out of one phone and place it on another and that phone number will ring to the number that SIM card is assigned to. Cricket has the capability to secure our privacy but, in this case, has dramatically failed to do so.

      They lock SIM's and have a very confusing and difficult process to unlock them, effectively holding your phone hostage on their mediocre service.

      After about 7 hrs trying to get my phone unlocked, I quit. I met all the criteria for getting my phone unlocked and cricket was unable/unwilling/incompetent to unlock their own device that they sold me. I am currently a #Crickethostage and unable to use my phone in Europe which is a safety issue as a solo traveler or any type of traveler.Every time I called, they gave me a different excuse as to why they couldnt unlock my phone. Not to mention getting hung up on and not being called back. And even though I have receipts from my phone purchase they proceeded to tell me I didnt buy the phone with them. I went back to the store I purchased my phone at and they denied the store too. Even they were frustrated and agreed I met the unlock criteria.I will spare you from the 7 hours of my frustrating experience. I now have to go spend a few hundred dollars to get an unlocked phone (the same one I currently have which is so stupid) when they can just unlock what I have. I think they made an error on my IMEI code prior to selling me my phone. I wish they would just make it right. I just needed to be on a different network for three weeks in Europe and had planned to get my phone running on Cricket once I returned. Sadly if they are still unable to unlock my phone, I am unable to return to the service and will pay more elsewhere for better customer service. This review is null and void if they are able to do what is right and unlock my phone. Again, I have met the 6 month criteria and there isnt a logical or real reason why they cant unlock my phone. Cricket if you read this, please just help do what you promised.

      Cricket cell phone company is saying I did not pay my bill for August. I paid my bill from my checking account from **************** I have a document from my bank account showing I payed it from my checking account. Just because I didn't use the app Cricket wants to punish me because I didn't us thier app. I need my phone because of medical issues. Plus I help my dad who has dementia. My dads doctors has to get ahold of me at anytime of the day. Please I have proof that I paid my bill for August. Please help me. Thank You *********************

      Would not honor cancellation of autopay feature after number was ported out. Representative stated that no one available via phone had the authority to reverse a charge and suggested writing a letter to the corporate office.

      On June 1, 2023, bought an upgrade phone for $99.19, The price included a $25 upgrade fee. I was supposed to receive the new phone via *** by June 3, 2023. I hadn't received it by June 8, so I called the company to find out why. They stated that it wasn't their problem and I should contact ***. *** did send me a notice the delivery was delayed. I placed a stop-payment request on the order. On June 16, I received the phone and I cancelled the stop-payment. Cricket received the full $99.19. On June 18, the company suspended my account. When I inquired, they said they never received the $25 upgrade fee and wanted $42 to resume service. I grudgingly paid. On July 24, 2023, they again suspended my service stating my bank held back $25 from my monthly payment. This would be impossible as the bank pays the amount on the e-bill. I had to pay $52 to have service continue. I switched providers. Cricket locked the phone so I couldn't start my new service. Now I have no service from Cricket nor the new provider. Cricket states they won't unlock the phone until I have completed six months of service on it. I no longer have an account with ********************, so I can never use this phone and have to buy another one through my new provider. I lost close to $200 plus the cost of a new phone. I still have internet and emergency phone access, so two stars and a big wahoo.

      I switched from **** to cricket on July 18 2023. First day I had no service. Went to cricket store and got two new sim cards. Then I could call out, text, receive texts, could jot receive calls in. Today is July 24, I've called cricket 6 times. Twice I've been hung up on after 10 minutes of talking with customer service. I've been told it may take ip to Three days for service to cross over from ****, lie. Ive had 3 representatives say they will call back, never received one call. No one will escalate the call. I use this line for my business. Switching to cricket wireless is costing me 5uousands of dollars everyday.
