1 starAt the request of Home Depot******** office, I have recently submitted a complaint about a manager named ******, of the Kannapolis NC store, swearing at and verbally abusing her employees on the store floor, where customers can see and hear. Shortly after that, the store manager called me and promised me that it would be handled. I have just learned what "handled" means to Home Depot."Handled" means that during an employee meeting, ****** scolded her employees for being "too sensitive" and told them that there is to be no more swearing on the floor. She did not acknowledge her actions, she didn't apologize. She blamed her employees.This is Home Depot's version of "handled."Review fromDERYL R

1 starHOME DEPOT Cascade located in ****** on Research Center pkwy. orders for delivery #CN33215531 and order #WJ92305118 ...twice!! Twice!!! Two different people delivered the wrong product! Plus they put the order in the wrong name. I was trying to finish my garden today and I ordered a specific brand of """pure""" mulch the first time he delivered it I did not realize until they drove off that it was the wrong mulch so I called the store to have that replaced and the second ****** brought the wrong mulch again this time I stopped him because it was the wrong one and he said I can't help you and put it back in the trunk of his car and just drove off!.. this is a specific type of ''""pure""" mulch that I want for my vegetable garden it's not just to throw in a flower bed. when I called Home Depot for the third time they offered to replace it again and I said I cannot allow you to do it the third time because the third ****** will bring the wrong thing.. this is ridiculous I know you may think it's just much but I wanted this specific pure mulch for my vegetable garden not just most to throw on the ground. I'm very upset that I've been hours working with this and I will not able to complete my vegetable garden today and I have to get up and go to the store next week to see if they even have the right one in stock that is ridiculous that two people did not pay attention to what they were doing I'm very upset because now I have to wait days to get refunded for both orders back to my bank accountThe Home Depot

1 starAfter years and thousands of dollars spent Home Depot service and ************* doesnt care at all. Terrible service. Ordered and paid for door in July, it is September and still havent been contacted for installation. Also, they changed return policy limiting to 7 days and will not accept return . 1 starHOME DEPOT IS THE WORST COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!!! I signed a contract with them on 02/01. Today is 09/10 and I am still fighting with them. Communication is horrible and customer ********************** is the worst. They demand all their money upfront because they know they would lose money at the way they operate. I ordered doors and windows (all impact). The freaking door has the panels glued to it and they are coming off. The installers saw the issue but of course they can only do what they were hired to do by Home Depot. You have to go through Home Depot to get it resolved. Now I have to spend money with an attorney to get my issue corrected. This is the only language people understand these days is lawsuit. 1 starTo Whom It May Concern,I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the completely unprofessional treatment I received from the staff at Home Depot concerning a window installation project.I paid $15,000 for a service that was promised to be completed by March 2025yet it was not fully completed until after Labor Day in September 2025. While I understand that delays due to part availability can occur, the manner in which this project was handled was disorganized, dismissive, and disrespectful from start to finish.Throughout this ordeal, I was repeatedly assured that an adjustment or credit would be issued once the job was finally completed. Instead, I was met with blatant disregard. Sales Manager *** ****** responded to my concern with the words:Do what you have to do. We have a team of lawyers. Take this $100 cash or gift card.Not only was this insulting, but no apology was offered for the months of inconvenience and the added costs I incurred due to energy inefficiencycaused by faulty installation that allowed outside air into my home. Mr. ****** further minimized the issue by labeling it a mere cosmetic problem, despite the fact that the team had to completely uninstall and reinstall the windows to fix their error.This experience was not only frustratingit was deeply disrespectful. I will never do business with this Home Depot location again, and I will never recommend their services to anyone. No customer spending this kind of money should be treated with such indifference or disregard for their home, time, and peace of mind.I am requesting that this issue be reviewed by the Better Business Bureau, and I hope appropriate action will be taken to hold this business accountable.Sincerely ****** *****Review fromNatalie T.

1 starWell, it started on June 26 the 20 year anniversary that my Son died,but instead I dealt with plumbers all morning Night before we heard water running ,open the hot water heater and it was gushing out, so I called Home Depot (thats the credit card I have cant afford the whole bill) to come out and replace my water heater. They told me it would be $1800 for the water heater and the labor. Guy comes out, throws his arms up in the air and he says Im not touching that is galvanized He said do you want me to call the galvanized people and I didnt know what else to do so I said yes so the galvanized people come out, the head guy came out and he was a little larger guy and I think he said he crawled under my trailer. I dont know if he would fit He put me on the phone with the finance company. They said we have to hurry. We have to draw permits to do this work so I started the process and they said you qualified and when they were done after I signed everything they told me how much it would cost $13,000 Are you kidding me $13,000 Ive had this happen before with my air conditioner. He turned it all three times and said something broke. I had to get a new air conditioner Do you know how this feels for a 65 year-old woman that has had two strokes already the stress it put me under It took them five days to redo my plumbing I sat outside in the heat in ******* for five days no water peeing in a bucket. This is disgraceful Then they left holes in my walls. They left my vanity, pulled out with the baseboards, and not even one nail in them so I wrote the Attorney General They HAD to come back out. The inspector came back out on ************ said absolutely not, Im not passing them havent heard from anyone . Theyre gonna try and blow me off, but Im sick of getting screwed and you guys have screwed me and Delta Plumbing is Home Depots guys I would be very cautious going to Home Depot to get work done for your plumbing. 1 starOn Friday, August 29, 2025, the Home Depot (**********************************************) employed Superior Carpeting to install exterior carpeting on front and back porches and steps at my home. Some of the carpeting on back steps has become unglued. Since that time I have called Superior Carpeting at least four or five times leaving messages asking when the problem will be fixed. My messages have been ignored and unanswered.The Home Depot

1 starI would have chosen negative start if it was an option. I went to Home Depot location ( ***********************************) yesterday at 6:30PM CST to return dehumidfier within 90 days. But the store refused the return. This was a shock to me because the return date on this item has not yet passed, it is 9/6/2025. If there was any change in return policy, I should have been informed but I was not. Home Depot is not honoring the return policy setup by them. I can provide a copy of receipt that states clearly the return expiration date. I contacted corporate customer ********************** but received rude treatment from the **** I finally got the case number after repeated requests on phone. I have been shopping at Home Depot for many years but this is extremely unacceptable experience. 1 starI started seeing Seams show up in my carpet. Called Home Depot. They said to call installer. Called installer and they said that my carpet was defective. They call Home Depot and let them know that I should be getting new carpet because this carpet looks like its been spliced several times and it hasnt. Home Depot requested a 4 x 4 piece of my carpet to send to the lab to see what was wrong with my carpet. ************** came back and said that since I didnt have it professionally cleaned within 18 months of having it laid that the warranty was no and void. I never got any paperwork on my carpet. I got the receipt. They said it was stated in the paperwork. Needless to say Home Depot does not stand behind their carpet!! I would never buy Home Depot carpet again.The Home Depot

2 starsI ordered product from this company supposed to be delivered Tuesday no phone call no show for delivery which I paid for and so far as of today I still wont have it until maybe tomorrow its two garage overhead doors and Accessories its over $2000 all theyre doing is giving me a runaround whatever trucking company they use They shouldnt be using terrible as of today. It wont be delivered because they dont wanna look and see where on the truck it is.
