1 starPurchased washer and Dryer in July 2024.Order #H4131-382127. Delivered and installed by home depot. April 12 dryer stops heating and working altogether. Warranty tech comes out and doesn't have the part to fix. Orders parts, new tech comes out the 29th. He tells me everything will work fine once I get a new power cord. He says from his assessment the installers did not install dryer properly causing loose wires to power surge and fry. Wires were melted and singed. My house could have caught fire!!! I took the cord to the home depot we purchased dryer at and Assist Manager gave me a cord. They are able to get an installer back to hook the dryer up but made a point that they don't usually do this. This was their mistake, they need to fix. I already rearranged my schedule to accommodate their techs, now I have to again to fix so they can fix their mistake. The install might not happen if the time block given didn't suit. I have had to spend time and money going to a laundry mat to dry clothes when I have less than a year old dryer! I am not happy with any of this. I would like my money back for the dryer. I am definitely not satisfied!The Home Depot

1 starI ordered an ** fridge through Home Depot when I first bought my house. After the purchase I later found out that the fridge I bought didnt have craft ice (even though a similar looking model did), so I went back and asked to EXCHANGE the fridge for the one that did have craft ice. The guy does all the paperwork and totally SCREWED ME. The first fridge I purchased the extended warranty, and I didnt add on the extra fee for fridge removal because this was a new build home with no fridge in it. When the guy does the exchange he didnt ask any question, just did the whole thing, I assumed it was an even transaction, but later I found out he didnt add on the warranty and instead added the extra fee for the fridge removal. A year and 2 months into owning my ** fridge, the fan broke, and I had to pay out of pocket to fix it because I found out the worker of Home Depot didnt put on my warranty. When I called Home Depot to complain they took no accountability and told me it was my fault for not catching it sooner. My fault? Sure, someone with permanent brain damage trusting an employee to do his job correctly, thats totally my bad. Im sorry I struggle with reading, and apparently so is your employee that helped me- but theyre not sorry. So I wasted over $3k in a bad fridge. $250 on a fridge removal when there was no fridge to remove, and an extra $500 to fix the fridge which the warranty wouldve covered. If you need a new fridge, DONT TRSUT HOME DEPOT!The Home Depot

1 starThis has been the absolute WORST customer ********************** with Home **********************. This was our first..and LAST time we will EVER use them We had to buy a new dishwasher. We paid the standard fees for the new one, the installation fee, etc. This was supposed to have happened on April 17th, 2025. Guess what? We not only still have our old , broken dishwasher half out of the spot it was in...but we have the NEW dishwasher, just kind of ...in the middle of our kitchen. It's now April 24th, 2025. The timeline: on april 17, 2025, I found that the dishwasher (new) and old ....were still in the kitchen. Technically, they were supposed (Home Depot) were supposed to be one and done with it the day before. They never showed up(only calling 30 minutes BEFORE the 'time window' ran out (3pm-7pm) to even deal with the dishwasher(s). On the 17th, they DID show up, BUT they left the job unfinished. Why? There was a power issue with the dishwasher....and the breaker box. They weren't trained in handling it they said. So...we had to call our regular plumber to fix it...which didn't happen till the next MONDAY(So all of Easter weekend was ruined, b/c also , our stove stopped working). Monday, 4/21/25: our plumber comes by and fixes the power issue(with dishwasher) then realizes what the Home Depot people did ..with leaving the wires loose. He secured it..said he could do it nice and fast, but t would be $400. We had already PAID Home Depot...so we couldnt do that. Gave Home Depot MULTIPLE chances. We were told...recently...that yesterday..the guy up and quit and they(Home Depot) forgot to call us. Now? We were hoping maybe a 3rd attempt tomorrow(Friday)....and now they tell us Monday(4/28/25). Why? They are all booked up, plus have no plumbers. This is utterly infuriating and insulting at this point. It's starting to feel almost discriminatory, b/c we're in a 'poor' neighborhood despite them having all of our money already Could you all please look into this? We're at nothing but a loss!The Home Depot

1 starPurchased Maytag Washer and Dryer on 4-13-2025. Dryer damaged upon delivery. Denied it. The washer wasn't installed. Hubby installed it 3 days later. A few days later went to use the washer and the on/starter switch did not work. I attempted 5 times before the lid even locked. Then tried again 3 more times and it locked and started. It sounds like the motor isn't turning on as well. I called about a refund or at least an exchange and upgrade for a more expensive set. They refuse and said they can only send another dryer for replacement and send out a repair man. We purchased a 5 yr warranty as well. We haven't even had the set but 11 days. Why would I want a brand new washer repaired? It should be replaced with a new washer. Damaged and not working is unacceptable. I will be taking Home Depot to small claims court for a full refund. You don't sell damaged products or products don't work and tell your customers "Sorry can't help you, go through manufacture company". That's bad consumer relations. I refuse to purchase anymore appliances with Home Depot or do business with them again. And to add, they hire illegal immigrants for their delivery trucks. They don't even speak English. 1 starI connected with Home Depot for a flooring project in my home kitchen and dining room. Unaware they weren't the actual flooring installers they passed off the job to Floor Pro as their flooring service agency. Service for work at home depot was paid on March 21, 2025. Flooring project didn't start till 2 weeks out as we were waiting on their materials and team to be available. Contractors came out to do the work on a Thursday and were unable to complete the project leaving us questioning our choice of going with home depot and undone floor for Easter weekend. Mind you during installation day there was a lack in communication due to language barriers as none of the team that was present did not speak English but one which left before I could touch basis with him about the undone work. During their visit because of what I was encountering while there I was already on the phone with the store and corporate. The contractors tore out my floors, caused damages to my walls, shelves, and baseboards, and then abandoned the job.Three weeks with no resolution until today, April 24, 2025 letting me no home depot would not be completing the initial project, and no sign of urgency from either company for damages they caused to our home. Despite repeated follow-ups, all Ive received are broken promises and vague *************** trust in Home Depot has been completely shattered. I hired them expecting professional service and accountabilitynot silence and damage. I am requesting:Immediate inspection and repair of damages Prompt and complete installation Compensation for property damage and delays Clear accountability from both Home Depot and Floor Pro This has caused me significant stress, inconvenience, and financial uncertaintyand I will continue to escalate this matter until a proper resolution is delivered.The Home Depot

1 starDont buy appliance from home depot because they give only 48 hours to refund or replace if it is defect. they would not responsible as soon as it pass the 48 hours limit. I recently spent $2500 for a kichenaid refrigerator from home depot and it worked only 26 days then stop working. all my frozen foods went bad. I am spending hours and hours making phone calls to deal with manufacture and they refuse to replace it.The Home Depot

1 starHome Depot Range Purchase We purchased a range on March 10, 2025 from the Home Depot in ********, *********The range was delivered on 3/25/25.Two or three hours later, we realized it was damaged, and we called the Home Depot in *********They said that the next delivery day for our area was full, and that they wouldnt pick up the damaged range for two weeks. They added that they wouldnt be able to order another one until the range was back at their store.On March 30th or April 1st, I contacted Home Depot through the Customer ********************** web page and initiated a chat with a friendly agent. I asked him if there were any way that we could have the store order the stove before the damaged one was picked up. The agent looked into it and said that he had spoken with the store manager at the Sterling Home Depot. He said that the store manager would order it right away, and that she would call me with the details in the next day or two. I have not heard from her or anyone else from Home Depot.On April 17, I stopped into the Sterling Home Depot, and the woman at the Customer ********************** desk said that she couldnt determine when it would be delivered.I called the Home Depot in ***************** April 22, 2025 and was told that it is on back order and that they had no idea when it would be delivered.The Home Depot

1 starVery bad experience I bought $1300 fridge on Saturday they told me me it will be delivered on Tuesday that I will receive phone call to give me delivery window. I took day off the work to wait for them they never shoved up or called. After calling them they said delivery got postponed to Saturday but they will call again to confirm and give a delivery window. Saturday waited until 2 pm no call so left the house. They called at 3 that they are at my address. I was 30 minutes away and they couldnt wait. When tried to reschedule again they said they cant deliver again until next Thursday that is almost 2 weeks after purchase. That is not how you doing business and keep customers. I can understand that you might have issues and not deliver on time but im paying you $1300 and you cant even give a call to keep customer updated. In your sales pitch you guaranteed that we will receive phone call with update. I canceled my purchase and got same fridge down the street delivered next day. You lost another customer going forwardThe Home Depot
