1 starHad a dryer installed by Home Depot and they installed it incorrectly and want me to pay to have them come and fix it. Customer ********************** was just as bad. ****** learned do not buy from home Depot. I'll use Loews for my big purchases. I wish there was a minus number.The Home Depot

1 starThe delivery **mpany they use for on-line and maybe large in store items is super bad. its JW Logistics. The driver tried to deliver it to the wrong house. No call beforehand like the web page upon ordering stated. When caught by the home owner, they phoned ** thinking maybe it was ours. It was. ****** refused to speak to my husband, and told the home owner he was going to leave it ON THE ***** Not safe in so, so many ways. The home owner was able to stop THAT from happening, poor guy. Our drive is fully capable to handle large trucks and trailers, we use them ourself quite frequently. However, the driver took it upon himself to say we refused it. If HOME DEPOT would like to sell items on line or be capable to deliver large items, they need to get ppl who can professionally do that. JW Logistics out of **** (look up ********* location reviews. They are a nightmare) is not the solution. I dont know if HD owns this ** or what but it has **st them our personal business and possibly our professional there are other means to get what you need. My experience has taught me to order to a store (not HD) , pick it up, and pay MY OWN employees to install it. Many other issues occurred after the botched delivery just a very difficult, time **nsuming interaction.The Home Depot

1 starAll I needed was some 20ft of vinyl tuning. I asked a lone employee named "***" working the key center "excuse me, would you happen to know where I can find more of this tubing?" to which he stayed silent for about 5 seconds then slowly looked over at me, rolled his eyes, and scoffed at me while having an annoyed look on his face. I'm not one to exaggerate an experience and as a former retail supervisor myself I know how annoying customers can be, but *** (all black clothing with a black hat) was so rude, unprofessional, and nasty that I don't understand how he is employed there. I can't imagine how many times he's treated customers in this manner, hope management at least acknowledges this issue.The Home Depot

1 starI made a large online purchase from Home Depot on 5/14/23 and paid extra to have it delivered over the threshold. The delivery was set for 5/17 from 6am - 8pm. On the 17th at 12pm, I received a text indicating my delivery was moved to 5/19. I immediately contacted the delivery service and the new date was set for 5/20, 2-6. On 5/20 I again waited. This time, no text or call and no show. Again I called the delivery service who told me my delivery date was moved to 5/22, with no prior notice, from 2-6 and the merchandise would be delivered across the threshold. Well, finally the delivery arrived on 5/22, but arrived at 10:30 am and it was dropped in my driveway, which included a large bundle of sheetrock. The driver advised me that he does not bring merchandise inside, someone else arrives later to bring it inside. Again I contacted the delivery service who advised me that since my original delivery time was 2-6, someone would arrive to bring the items inside during that time. I'm watching the clouds hoping it doesn't rain. I am beyond frustrated and will never order or buy anything from Home Depot againThe Home Depot

1 starA business account was opened with my social security number. Company refuses to give me a card with my legal name, claiming my last name in doesn't exist. When I called agent stopped recording call after explaining the situation and refused to help me only allow a card in my husband's name or canceling the account. How can they only allow a card in his name with my social security number?The Home Depot

1 starI recently purchased a fridge from Home Depot, also paid for installation and haul away. The first delivery team came, scratched my staircase railing then told ** to remove the railing in order for them to continue with delivery and installation. However, they don't have time to wait, so they left the fridge in my garage without my consent or my tenant's consent and left. I scheduled 2nd team to come to finish the delivery, and that's a no show. Scheduled a 3rd time, the team refuse to do complete the job by saying they don't know why they were there and afraid that they have to pay damage out of their own pocket if accidentally damage the wall. So I talked to home depot customer ********************** about the situation, and they STRONGLY suggested that i find handyman or local help to complete the delivery/installation and haul away and they will help me cover most but not all of that extra cost. I spent $355 hiring people to finish that job, and now Home Depot said they won't be able to cover anything. Still can't believe such a big company will lie to their customer and not honoring what they communicated with their customer. Also, I tried to return the fridge that they left in my garage and they said it was not returnable since it's over 48 hours, it's brand new, not used and left there without my consent, we did not sign anything for them to leave the unit there. And it's not returnable. Unbelievable!!! I will give a zero star if i could.The Home Depot

1 starHad the most horrific experience at the ***************** Location with the people at the paint department and ***** who is one of the store managers.. I came in on Friday and brought a slab of wood that represented the material of my closet which I wanted to paint.The woman at the counter confidently told me the Behr paint would work great. We painted the 7x9 closet and noticed it was peeling. We went back the next day only to have the people in the paint department tell ** it was the wrong paint and that it was OUR fault for not knowing. They told ** that at Home Depot "they are not professionals and don't know much".I was shocked so I asked for the store manager, ***** who was even worse. She was rude, condescending and has no business being in a customer ********************** based job. Essentially they told me it was MY fault for not knowing even though we brought the exact wood and the initial woman was so confident in her suggestion.My entire closet is ruined, and I am out a lot of money.I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and will escalate this as far as I can go.The Home Depot

1 starBought a ** stackable washer. When the delivery men arrived at our home, to our surprise and dismay, we were told they could not install our new washer because it is a stackable. I called Home DePot and was told that was true but we could do it ourselves. I explained that we were elderly and not physically capable of doing that ( I have osteoporosis and my husband cant lift heavy weights). The Home DePot employee then told me I should go to Home DePot and pick up a handyman as many hang out around Home DePot. I asked her if the warranty would still be good if I did this, to which she did not give an affirmative. I did as she suggested, and ugh, picked up a handy guy at Home DePot and paid him $100 to install my new washer. I did not like being put in the position of having to pick up a handyman and paying when I believe HomeDepot should have installed it OR at least give me a heads up as to what I would have to do to get my new machine installed.Shame on you for putting me in that position.The Home Depot

1 starI purchased a metal storage shed a week ago to be delivered to my house today. I had people lined up to put it together tomorrow. When it got late in the day, I called the store to check on the delivery. I was told the shed was on back order at their store. So they turned my order over to another store, in a different city for delivery. I called that store. No delivery date had been set up. NO ONE at my local store called me to inform me of this so I could take care of setting the date. Why couldn't they just tell that store to deliver it today? An apology does not cover it. I want compensation for their failure to demonstrate good customer **********************. Their handling of this is disgusting. They will not get any more of my business.The Home Depot
