1 starOrdered a refrigerator for delivery. Set up a delivery date. Delivery got delayed the night before, even though that same night was given a specific 4 hour delivery window.The next delivery day, the app kept updating me stating my delivery was out for delivery and had so many stops before me. Then received an email stating, be ready 2 more stops. Then, nothing. Time went past delivery window. I called them. 30 min on the phone, they said they were behind, but rest assured, it is still going to be delivered and I will receive a call right before they show up. 30 minutes went bye and then the app then changes to: missed attempted delivery. Now, my doors were wide open, ring cameras on, sitting on porch, app in hand old fridge empty. No one attempted to deliver. Called back. ZERO resolution. Best they could do is reschedule delivery after 48 hours. No answers to what happened or why. Ridiculous customer ********************, and no real help. Advise not buying from The Home Depot.The Home Depot

1 starBought some vinyl flooring and after I have half of my living room done the guy thats installing it for me noticed half of the pieces are discolored and have a yellowish tint to them.They Dont even look like the same flooring..When I started reading reviews I see others were having the same issue.I was also told it wasnt discontinued that it was just out of stock and sure enough its discontinued which dont surprise me after seeing the actual flooring..I will never shop here again..Its too late to return for one and two im not pulling up what is already done..I had to open every single box and try to sort out the 2 colors..This has been h*** and I have it going throughout my whole house like thats not a huge focal point or anythingVery disappointed and I will make it known!The Home Depot

1 starBought a dishwasher **************************************************************************************************** Was never asked that question when we purchased the hook up fee. So I hired a plumber to come and do it when he arrived and hooked the dishwasher up he found everything was broke inside. Home Depot was supposed to deliver a new one and I still have not received my dishwasher. This is the worst customer ********************** I have ever seen. I even talked to a higher up manager and still no resolution.The Home Depot

1 starId like to leave it attachment because Ive got the entire text message with Home Depot chat for the reason that they couldnt get a platform bed here to me while its set in a location in ************ and to be delivered in ********* ******** for five days absolutely no reason for it at all whatsoever and they keep shifting me around to different Text people. 1 starI ordered an electric power lift recliner chair thru Home Depot. I had free delivery and paid ***** for assembly. This chair was for a friend who is scheduled to have shoulder surgery. The chair weighs ****** lbs. and came in 3 boxes which was delivered by ****** The 3 boxes were left in front of an outside entrance to an apartment complex, out in the rain. According to the fedex driver, he was not able to deliver into the home. Additionally, also unknown to us, we were expected to set up the assembly appt which wasnt available for almost a week post delivery. NONE Of this process was Explained at the time of purchase. The customer ********************** *** advised it would be delivered into the home and nothing was said that the assembly was being done at the same time. I would highly recommend that you avoid Home Depot for anything you need delivered, they do not provide advertised services.The Home Depot

1 starCompletely inadequate for full pay in advance custom order for garage door.-Doors ordered Monday 5/19/25. I was told someone would contact me within 2 business days for site visit on contract.-5/23/25 still no message. Sent email to millwork and called. Got *** who said he would call for status. *** called me back and said the installer that handles appointments was out until tuesday. Said he didn't know who the installer was but gave me phone number 877-526-xxxx as his contact. This number is Clopay.-5/27/25 Spoke to representative at ******. She contacted D&D doors to have the appointment representaive give me a call. She said she also e-mailed them with my phone number. ***** Garage Doors ****************-5/30/25 called again to ******. Said D&D were supposed to contact me may 27. Would send an email to them. I brought up that I have already paid in full on my credit card and should have the charge reversed until I am contacted. said I should be contacted the next couple of days.The Home Depot

1 starPurchased laminate flooring from Home Depot and their contractor Orange Room was to install. Install date was March 27. 2025 for a 3 day install. 1/4 of the laminate was put down but was making crackling and popping noise when walked on. Still unknown what the problem is, materials OR the contractor did something wrong. 9 weeks later this has been directed to resolutions only just now. No repairs no idea when the job will resume or if we will get a refund. Biggest mistake we made opting to use this service. Never again. 1 starThe Home Depot store on **************** has agreed to two separate work orders only to have them both cancelled. The first was for a dryer installation 3 months ago. They delivered my dryer, showed up and said they couldn't install it because the ventilation duct was too long and they're not allowed to use existing equipment. Mind you, I didn't ask them to use my old vent, just plug a new one into the extension. ****. ITS A HOUSE **************** I've bought a security door from my local store. I went online to schedule installation. It took them 2 weeks to schedule measurement and they've just now called to inform me my measurements were correct. Yay! But then they refuse to install the door anyway because I didn't buy it off the design page. Yup, The Home Depot won't install a security door THEY SOLD YOU if its off the shelf, it has to be specially purchased off the design page.I am tired of The Home Deport promising installation services only to cancel out because of some absurd procedural fine print. They are scamming people out of small amounts by charging visitation and measurement fees only to cancel the actual job later. 1 starDO NOT USE HOME DEPOT FOR KITCHEN RENOVATION.What started as an exciting project turned into a year-long nightmare. Home Depots incompetence, poor communication, and unqualified contractors left us with an unfinished kitchen, visible shims, misaligned cabinets, and a countertop with structural flaws.The installer showed up alone for a massive job, dropped a 12-foot cabinet on himself (causing injury and damage), and installed the cabinets off-centermaking some doors unusable. Home Depots solution? A giant filler piece to hide the mistake.Months of delays followed. Wrong measurements. Missing parts. Loose panels. Poor workmanship. They eventually let us hire our own ********* to finish the trimbut refused to let the installer fix the most visible flaw because it was outside the ********* theyve sent a ******** release claiming the job is complete. Its not.This was supposed to be a custom kitchennot an overpriced, misfit patch job. Home Depots process was a disaster from start to non-finish. Avoid them at all costs.Review fromBeverly Y

2 starsThis is not in regard to the local store, but the customer ********************** team over the phone. We purchased three items and one came in damaged. The first ****** we spoke with was great and processed the return. The email said to return all items, so we did. We got an email saying that one item was processed for return. We called and the ****** we spoke with this time took about 30 minutes of hold time to say the truck company that picked the items up did not have but one of the other items and they would open a ticket but couldnt refund us. This was approximately a $5000 purchase total. I expect better service from Home Depot. Be careful if you have to return something and they send the ********* to pick up your items, make sure you get a copy of any paperwork saying exactly what was picked up.The Home Depot
