1 starReceived a large up charge from original quote with what seemed to be price gouging from Crew2, hired through Home Depot. All money paid to Home Depot but complaints went no where. Bags of leveling that cost $45.00 was charge to us for $178.57 a bag which included labor per Crew2. The quote included heavy leveling at $250 which ended up being $1,617.00 and a 2 1/2 days of labor. They were done in 1 1/2 days and the layers assured me they were not getting any more for the job.The Home Depot

1 starWe saw a really good deal on a patio set through Home Depots website but turned out to be a rough experience. After buying a 7 piece set and 4 other items, we went to pick it up. They told us one of the items was not ready (patio set) but you can get the other items. The tracking system they use never updated so that was no help. A few days later, we no longer had the vehicle to transport the furniture but still never got the confirmation that it was delivered to the store. We called customer ********************** first and they told us, the store screwed up and the patio set was there the entire time. Again, we did not have the vehicle anymore to transport everything and let him know that. He said the store should offer delivery to the house but he could not cause they would flag it. Then, we called the store and they took 15 min to even confirm the order over the phone after I told them multiple times it was already confirmed. They offered 0 solutions and would not offer free deliver after they messed up multiple times on the tracking. The website literally said free shipping from store but the lady said they only deliver from the warehouse. This was such an annoying experience with 0 resolution and only added frustrations for no reason. 0 customer ********************** skills. The lady was very nice but again didnt provide any assistance on moving forward.Review fromTomas E

1 starIf you are a single woman and a Senior Citizen- beware of being an easy target at Home Depot and with those assigned to do the work on behalf of Home Depot. .2. Dont make a large purchase without a male presence with you such as a neighbor or a brother.3. Ask for written references on the people doing the actual work or the installation 4. Be clear about the timeframe you expect work to be finished.5. Have someone experienced or familiar with the work you paid to have done, inspect when they are finished.6. Even though you may not be familiar with the work being done, watch them. Watch them like a hawk.7. Dont be afraid to ask questions.Take pictures or videos of the work in progress. 8. Ask for their supervisor to come out and inspect their work if you have any doubts.9. Keep receipts for anything you purchased in regards to the work being done. I purchased paint and painting supplies to paint interior doors. I was given a complete refund for that purchase. **** assertive. Its the squeaky wheel that gets the grease.10. Had I been a little more proactive, my interior door project might actually have been done by now. In fact, it may now take five months or longer to finish.11. In regards to your own compensation, ask for a 100% refund in spite of their policies.12. The installer agreed to replace all interior doors because the workmanship was that bad. The installation may not be until late July so the jury is still out on how the project will finally finish.I was taken advantage of. I am a victim of discrimination by Home Depot and the installers. And I am told it is Home Depots policy not to make a decision on compensation until the project is complete. Again, this wont be until at least the end of July. A five week project has turned into five months - or more. The Home Depot

1 starI order a special order pantry door back in Jan 2025, it took three months before an installer was able to come to install the door at my home. The installer installed the door to my pantry wrong where the frost side should be facing out not inside of the pantry and the door had heavy scratch marks and dirty. I went to the Lilburn store and tried several times to speak with the store manager in person and by calling. if you call this store the will put you on hold for 30 mins or longer. The pantry door was reorder again and came to the Lilburn store ********************************************************. The door was send to the store on May 3, 2025 and no one reached out to me concerning this matter so i visits the store on May 15, 2025 and found out that the door was in the store. They request for an installer to install the on June 6, 2025 between 1pm - 3pm. at 2pm the installer call me to inform me that the door was damage while in the store and he wasn't going to install or pick up a damage door, he also stated the the door look like it's had been ran over by a forklift. The employees see you coming and go the other way to keep you from asking them questions while in the store. I went to customer ******************** several time even employees at the resister for help but everyone was too busy to help me out or they would say that's not my department. The Home Depot

1 starMy wife and I purchased $4335.92 of Home Depot Appliances for our new home (Order# H3872-292086) and the delivery team (******) was super rude and racist towards us and it makes me rethink shopping at Home Depot. Upon entry we asked if he had shoe covers because we just cleaned the home and for religious reasons. He said he didn't, and we asked if he could take off his shoes, he said he couldn't. We said fine but he proceeds to unbox the appliances on the street, getting them muddy and starting to damage them. We then talked to him that we don't like that and he said that's just how it's done. At this point he's clearly upset and said "that's it, I'm taking all this back." We said he could have unboxed everything in the garage or on the front-porch and he ignored us and straight up didn't acknowledge he didn't give us these options. At this point he's being belligerent and arguing with us and and he and his coworker are taking the unpacked appliances back onto the truck, damaging them in the process. We kept asking for his boss' information and he refused to give it to us and when he gave us the 1800 line and said his boss's name was *******. He called the delivery team and when we're trying to have a conversation with the woman on the phone, we asked for delivery of new products he tells the woman on the phone "Make sure you send someone who's showered and clean" and when we say we want to speak with his boss, he says "go ahead, call the CEO of Home Depot for all I care" There was no reason for this kind of racist and rude behavior because we asked him to cover his shoes and didn't appreciate him damaging products that we worked hard to purchase. We spoke on the customer ********************** line for nearly 2 hours only to learn we may in fact receive the same damaged appliances again and we don't even know when we could get delivery of anything and would need to call back. My wife and I took time off work for this and we can't even get the appliances we paid for.The Home Depot

1 starPurchased a gun safe, 475lbs, that required a $225 delivery fee and coordination for delivery. Set the date of delivery through ************************** and received confirmation of the date. Took the day off of work as the delivery window was 5 am to 7 pm. First time ever hearing of a window that large. But ok, i cannot move a safe by myself. Day of delivery no carrier contacted me per home Depot instructions. Called home Depot and was routed to a call center In *****. Had to call three times and wait on hold for 90 min. Broken English apologizing and assuring me my delivery was the date selected. While waiting, I Googled the final mile carrier for Home Depot and "GASP" my safe was never released by Home Depot to the Carrier. Despite their "tracker" and reassurances i lost a day of pay. Set a delivery with their final mile carrier, DB for a future date, yet Home Depot sends me daily reminders that my Gun Safe will be delivered everyday between now and the 4th of July and I should just stay home to ensure I don't Lose my $225 delivery fee. Home Depot, you lost track of what matters, your customers. The Home Depot
